Discussion topic and character reference

Note, when you're headed to a place I've more or less pointed you towards, end your post with ... and I'll take it from there, showing you where you've gone. The same applies for mysterious items such as boxes, and buttons you press, etc.

I reserve the right to kill any character at a moment's notice.

You don't know where are you, some of you can barely remember where you came from, but all you can tell now is that there are a group of people you don't know, don't recognize with you in a dark room. The room is circular, and has one exit notable by the bright light.

"Welcome friends." Said an ambient, detached voice. "You have found yourselves within my labyrinth. I've made many close relationships with those who have wandered in, but have grown lonely nevertheless. That's why I brought you. If you wish to return from where you came, seek me, and destroy me. If not, feel free to choose any of the labyrinth's clearings, checkpoints, whatever you'd like to call them, and settle down for an eternity or two. If you're okay with staying here, then you've actually just ruined my fun. So listen to this, find me, and defeat me, and I will leave behind the very item that will take you home, or grant you the omnipotence I possess. Stand up, get acquainted, and find your way around my impenetrable walls. Enjoy yourself, for your life may end at any moment, lest you're intent on taking mine."

One circular room, tinted red held the following: Locket Umora, Leah Mors, Dustin Iedon, Brooklyn Morz, Braxen Hartford, and Edward V. Nemo

A green room was the starting point for Derik Absolon, Allen TempesterSylar, Josh, and Igorum P. Scorpious

And a blue room hosted Shin Kuroma, Kaoru Nanami Shuuya, Silver Kuroi, and Nate Hoffman

Awaken, and make the acquaintance of your allies.

Shin appeared beside Kaoru. "You're prettier." He commented before disappearing again.

The Blue Beauty gestured for the group to come closer. "Come, come. Please." She chimed. "So, I'm me," She began, gesturing to herself. "There are two others groups of people like yourself. One of them is with an icky pile of lava,"

"Magma..." The Red Glutton mumbled on the other side of the maze.

(Fixed my posts, although Brooklyn would never have said any of that like that... I feel so weird for OOC speech...)

A...mermaid?

Silver cocked his head. After escaping the flooded room, the four of them found themselves on a sandy, beautiful beach. Silver quickly turned around, but found no trace of the room they were once in. No door. No large building behind them. Just empty space and the expanse of the land behind them. He turned back around, facing the mermaid again. She wanted them to come closer and speak to her.

"I don't...trust this." Silver murmured. It was possible this being was part of a trap. A Siren, perhaps--a demon-mermaid that ensnared her victims with songs so she could devour them. Perhaps Silver was being too paranoid, but one couldn't be too careful.

[blue Team]

"I don't...trust this." Ghost heard Silver murmur. "That makes two of us..." he quietly whispered back, wishing his feisty, bubbly, pink haired girlfriend was here right now.

"Come, come. Please."

Ghost eyed Silver, thankful that he wasn't the only one paranoid as the blue-haired mermaid continued to address the group. "There are two others groups of people like yourself. One of them is with an icky pile of lava, And an even ickier old tree man. You need to guess who's the smartest, the scariest, and the ickiest." The keyblade Guardian looked around at the group. "Any ideas? I'm uh... clueless." Despite her sweet voice and beauty, Ghost decided to keep his distance from the mermaid, pondering instead on what exactly was going on, and where did the door they just came from disappear to...

"Obviously." Kaoru snapped at Shin, glaring at the mermaid.

She wasn't going to trust this girl at all.

"I'm going to go on and guess if I may.." Kaoru said, stepping up a bit and looking at the mermaid.

"You are the smartest. The lava person must be the scariest. I bet the tree man is the...nastiest." She said seriously.

It was simply just a guess, but in Kaoru's case, almost all of her guesses were correct.

I feel like this mermaid is definitely the scary one. Silver though, but didn't say anything. Better to watch and see. If the mermaid did anything -anything at all- all Silver had to do was grab his weapon and end her right then and there.

Perhaps it was bad of them to be so distrustful. If they couldn't trust a total stranger, how could they trust each other? Trust amongst a group was key to survival--Silver knew that all too well.

The old man chuckled. "Hohohoho... Sorry kiddo, no sweets, just questions. Among me, the Green Sage, I have two acquaintances: the Red Glutton, and the Blue Beauty. Riddle me this, which has the least to think, the least to show off, and the least to harm with?"

Green

Derik gave a slight smug look. "The least to harm with I would think is the red glutton, you would have the least to show off since you seem to be a simple man, and that leaves the woman to be the one to think the least." Derik glanced around. "Nature must be who you are. Simple, calm, but powerful, knowledgeable, wise, with a hint of mystery. The red glutton would not have a reason to harm us, nor any way, and seeing your state..." He paused. "Likely is made of some form of fire or magma, which has knowledge, wisdom, and inspires the new. That only leaves the blue woman to have little to think, and is likely a Siren, a terrible beast of nature that could capture the hearts of men at sea with their beauty then consume them. Am I correct?"

RED

Braxen clenched his fists, angry at Brooklin for not even bothering to ask the others for advice before answering the question. It seemed obvious to him that this lava thing was the most grotesque, the old man was the wisest, and the sea lady was the most dangerous. However, it seemed he had no choice but to get ready to fight the lava guy for failing to answer the question properly. [Oh well,] he thought, [this will probably be more fun anyway.]

Locket looked at the other people, wondering if they were paying attention. She shook her head and turned her head back to the creature and focused on what might be beyond here. She was mostly curious as to what lay ahead, and kept her mind focused on that instead of worrying if she were going to be melted alive.

Brooklyn could feel the bullet holes being shot at him from one of the other team members, he shrugged it off. "I normally would have consulted, but the riddle is easy." He thought, not caring what the others could think.

Locket turned her head in Braxen's direction and glared at him. She herself thought the answer was correct, even if this guy didnt. She turned her head back to the creature and focused on what might be beyond here.

(Braxen was thinking, not talking.)

Leah growled under her breath. Consultation would have been nice indeed. Stuck in a strange place, with stranger people, and no one knew general etiquette. Great. Leah glared at Brooklyn, still refusing to speak. 'If you're wrong, I'll kill you myself.' She thought to herself. It might've been a joke, but Leah had never been much for joking.

Sylar gave one more malicious grin to Josh, before turning and following Derik to where he stood before the old tree man. The killer stood silently as Derik answered the riddle. As soon as the teen was finished, Sylar leaned against him again. "And what a smart cookie you are! Figuring out a riddle like that in..." Sylar mock looked at his watch, "5.7 seconds! Give the boy a prize!" Sylar laughed easily, and while it sounded joyful, there was an underlying tone of malice.

I looked at sylar "Oh, like you could do faster." I smiled. "As i recall, you didn't even try, so, what's your excuse?" I hate jerks like him, but I have a hypocrisy conflict with that statement... Pity that... Anyways, I looked at the green man for a response... It Would be a shame to die here...

GREEN

"Ooh, but I meant every word I said." Sylar said, his tone still playful, still leaning against Derik and looking at Josh. "I'm not sure if you quite recall, but I didn't use a trace of sarcasm." He said. It was true, he hadn't been sarcastic. Sylar continued to look at the boy. Oh, how he would love to kill him and take that juicy ability. It was an upgrade to his own! But for now, he needed to get a hold of the situation at hand before he started taking advantage of others' weaknesses.

I looked at the man. I felt the creeps from him... He was looking at me, not as a human, but like a sack of meat, or a prize to obtain... Best to keep distance from him...

He growled, now turning his grip down to below the collarbone, he switched on Demon Reign to full power, and then he pulled Sylar up by his collarbone and threw him as far as he could muster at the moment, a good two kilometers out. "Not bad, if I had a better grip on his collarbones I could have shot farther than that, but se la ve." He thought, turning his attention to the old man again. "Pardon me for that. GREEN"In this case..." Derik turned. "I probably am from another world than you, and that man as well: diffrent origin lands. My origins start on earth, around the year. 2011 when I set out on my journey, which ended around 70 years or so when I saved the entire universe from destruction." He spoke his story in a very bored manner, almost as if he had recited it a lot before. "That power, my friend, is one of a kind to myself. Unless you know what your doing, which only comes with years of practice and experience, it dosent do anything for you anyway. It is what I call a "Reign", or a total control of my abilitys that can allow me to rule in a variety of situations. The one I used in this instance increases my strength, although when you mess up with your technique it can only help so much." Derik responded.

"Hmm..." I thought about the usefulness of an ability like this..."Show me how you do it..."

"Ho, ho, ho..." The Green Sage chuckled. "Please, children, enough bickering, you have greater problems to deal with." His voice was growing deeper. His eyes opened, the glowed yellow. The earth trembled. The ground split, and a huge creature was coming forth. The Green Sage stood atop the neck of an arbor dragon. Talk about a beast of nature. "Now..." The Green Sage bellowed, his voice deep and resonant, as if it were coming from the dragon as well. "Who would you say has the most to harm?" The wooden monster snapped it's jaws toward Sylar and Derik.

BLUE

The Blue Beauty giggled. "Sorry, sweetie." She said softly. "But you're wrong!" She lunged off of her rock, tearing out of her own skin, instead, a hideous abomination of the ocean. Out of the costume of a gorgeous mermaid was some kind of giant crocodile, with the head and dorsal fin of a shark. "Something about the ickiest?!" It began a swift crawl toward Silver, its first target.

RED

"Admirably decided." The Red Glutton bellowed. "Instead of facing me, you have the chance to make a new ally." The hideous mass sank into the volcano, and in a burst of flames, a new figure came forth. "Fresh off of Planet Cray, meet Toshiki Kai, another player of this game. However, instead of battling together, you are to team up in attempt to subdue him. If done so adequately, he is yours to join you."

Of course, you. The tree is nature, nature's power is greater than all." Derik yelled, flipping back from the attack, he drew his blades and began to charge energy into them. "But I defy the laws of gods themselves...!" He fired bolts of energy from hid blades, s simple magic he knew.

Red

Brooklyn nodded. "Thank you for addressing us with this challenge." Brooklyn politely stated. He summoned his keyblade and prepared. "Takoshi Kai: prepare yourself to combat!" He yelled. He never faced an opponent who ess unprepared.

(Fine.)

RED

Leah hissed in response to Brooklyn. Cocky too. Then the big guy brought into account a new player. Leah curled her hand around her spear. The adrenaline was flowing now. She readied her weapon, and hung low herself, balancing on the balls of her feet. But she did not attack. Those who struck first normally lost the fight. Leah eyes flickered about the field. There weren't many things that she could use to her advantage here, but there was lots of fire. To end the fight quickly, would be to knock her foe into the lava. She spotted Brooklyn readying himself with a strange key like blade. How ineffective of a weapon.

GREEN

Sylar picked himself up off the ground, and was about to wreck Derik's day, when the dragon decided to attack. How wonderful. Sylar stared into the dragon's bellowing mouth. "Breath mint much." Sylar called to the wooden beast. He glanced over to Derik. The guy had some wonderful abilities. Short term would be enough for now. Sylar felt himself become more powerful. He used the technique the other one called Angel Reign, and felt his telekinesis become much more powerful. He floated himself into the air, and lifted his hand. Rocks raised from the ground, and floated around him. Sylar grinned, and threw his hand forward, pointing towards the dragon. The rocks shot towards the large dragon.

GreenDerik felt the energies of his Reign being stressed. He looked around... That cocky bastard took his ability! "Damn copy cat bastard." Derik muttered, glaring. "At least he can't handle higher than level one. If he were to try higher than level one his body would explode from the energy increase." Deciding to keep an eye on the copycat bastard, he poured more energy into his shot, then maxed out Angel Reign. "Level twelve of the Reign is the most powerful one can ascend to." He thought.
