I thought for a moment that I has stumbled into a Sonic Sez thread

Several species of streptococci, actually.  Forming a biofilm.  Which traps their poop.  Which eats away slowly but surely over time at your teeth and can cause cavities and gingivitis which if left untreated could turn INTO SEPTICEMIA AND SYSTEM-WIDE ORGAN FAILURE AND YOU COULD DIE HORRIBLY.

 

So brush and floss.  Bacteria don't sleep. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)‎
