I seriously don't want to bust everyone's bubble but looking at the facts:

-BoZ was a mediocre game and it had 2-3 years of development

-the fact that it will be for current gen too means that graphics will probably be downplayed a lot so don't expect anything extarortdinary 

 but of course always excited for a new db game just don't have high expectations maybe this provides a return to the beloved tenkaichi era or something good in general

Jump Festa 2015 showcased more gameplay for the game, shown in battles with Mystic Gohan VS Super Buu, SSJ2 Teen Gohan VS Cell, and Vegito VS Super Buu.

Xenoverse's website has updated, showing off details on all five playable races for the Custom Character feature.

 

Each race has a specific mold and moveset that closely follows the fighting styles and attributes of the races as seen in the DragonBall manga/anime.

Following their interview with Tony, Bandai Namco Games Europe's Community Manager, regarding Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, J-Patrol once again interviewed Tony regarding fan queries on DragonBall: Xenoverse. The information that Tony gave them includes:

 

- It is unclear as to who will handle music composition for the game, but Bandai Namco Games US and EU are working on having the same music as the Japanese release of the game.

- The PC version of the game will offer minimal tweaking options.

- Permanent destruction will not be in the game, but limited destruction (similar to UT) will.

- With the game releasing in a few months, Tony hinted that there is still time for more characters to be announced (when asked about more GT characters).

- Characters from early DragonBall and What-If characters will not be appearing in the game.

- Boss characters, such as Great Ape Vegeta, will not be playable.

- For now, SSJ4 Vegeta will be an exclusive pre-order DLC (meaning that he might be become playable through non-pre order options)

- Jaco the Partrolman will be available to play in US and EU territories, thought it is unknown how exactly that is at this time.

- The local VS mode will only accommodate for 1 V 1 matches.

- Capsules cannot be equipped to existent characters.

A new scan has been released, showing off that in the story, Vegeta, Gohan and Gotenks will be infected by Towa's magic, as well as showing off two more "Dark" characters previously seen in the last trailer, Mr. Satan and Teen Gohan!

The scan also shows a small shot of a "mystery man", who I believe and many others might believe is Demigra, the supposed main antagonist of the game's story and a character previously shown as a silhouette near the beginning of the game's announcement:

Demigra's origin is unknown, but he certainly has an affiliation with Towa and Mirra and he is described as a "Demon God".

I might have just missed the news that he was going to get influenced by Towa's magic too, but Piccolo's also got the glowy thing going on in one screenshot on there.

 

Also, judging from that one quote ("In his dangerous clutches, he might be able to reach Goku!"), I bet Goku's going to turn against the custom character, too.
