What many people and critics fail to realize is how powerful Kingdom Hearts is just because of Disney and Final Fantasy characters and connections.

 

I mean, the GREAT games out there are either too sexy, violent or childish. What about the games that mix all of this? I think KH does. It has pretty characters, not that sexy though, it has action and our childhood heroes...

 

I've played many games and enjoyed lot of them, but if I could only chose one of them, it would have to be Kingdom Hearts. I mean, I cried, laugh and got mad because of THIS game! 

 

I used to think that Kingdom Hearts was just a game made by Square because they were a bit bored and had nothing else to do, but the way that this series are growing and the effort that they are putting so much on it changd my mind.

 

Kingdom Hearts brings nostalgia to both Disney and Final Fantasy fans, doesn't it?

 

We all can agree that Kingdom Hearts III is going to be the revolution of the franchise, right? Where everythign that we learned from the previous games will turn out to be. Where everything will make sense. And something tells me that an important character, besides the bad guys, will die.

 

And what if Kingdom Hearts III turns out to be even better then everyone thinks? Even better then some Final Fantasy games? Well, it won't win a thing, because as I'm aware of, Kingdom Hearts games never reached the "Oscars" of gaming. Luckily, Kingdom Hearts II is in the top 50 of Best Games Ever.

 

I mean, doesn't Kingdom Hearts has what it takes for a good game? Good story, characters, soundtrack, graphics and gameplay?

 

Also, Kingdom Hearts has a thing that only a few games have. It makes people thing and reflect a lot. Kingdom Hearts is jut an enormous puzzle! It took me some time to keep track of the storyline.

 

The problem of the series are the platform changing.

I agree with the storyline being a puzzle. I love things that do their stories that way! Unfortunately, it seems there are a lot of people who don't have the attention span nowadays to understand a story (or play games for that matter) without being spoonfed on what everything means and what to do -_- so I am glad Kingdom Hearts has a story that is complex and fun to try to understand.

Kingdom Hearts does have a massive fan base (2.1M likes on Facebook) And the original game was also one of the top 100 video games of all time on G4's list (i can't remember which one but it was pretty high up) 

 

And since you used the term "Oscars of gaming", there really does need to be a televised award show for video games.

Well, there is. Every year there are several companies and awards who pick THE BETS GAME OF THE YEAR. Kingdom Hearts was never  there. The Walking Dead won Best Game of The year in 2012 and GTA5 in 2013, even though it didn't deserve.

I mean a regular 3 hour show on a network Chanel with many awards like "Best art direction" "best soundtrack" "most original concept" ect.

Well even If kingdom hearts is recognized for top 100 its not advertised or televised as most games. When kh3d came out, we only saw like a couple commercials play like every 2 hours.I'm not saying this is the main problem but I think the game should be more productize or w.e in NA instead of japan only
