Update: It's coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One and PS Vita.

 

Update 2: Ok now I'm confused, the US Playstaion Blog says it's coming to PS4 not Vita. While the EU Playstation Blog says it's coming to Vita.

 

Update 3: Ok the EU Blog has confirmed it's not coming to Vita.

 

Severely disappointed it's not going to be on the Vita, I really am. I guess I have no other choice but to pick it up on PS4 when I eventually pick the system up.

I think if it had come to PS4/X1 and Vita then it could have been a win-win for both. Sadly Square Enix didn't do that and you can understand why a lot of Vita owners are disappointed.

I'm annoyed because I own a Vita and not a PS4. Sure I might have a PS4 by the time this actually comes out but that's not the point. Square specifically ignored the crowd that were asking for it all along and that's why people are pissed.

Unless the game gets a huge graphic overhaul on PS4/X1 then I don't see why they can't have a version on Vita too. Though I did get thinking that I wonder if the PS4 & X1 release means that they hope to make it into a spin-off series. They did trademark Type-1, 2, 3, etc. in the past and maybe by shifting Type-0 to consoles they are hoping that it becomes something bigger. Final Fantasy Agito is also confirmed so they are trying to expand on the universe already. Who knows though but it certainly is something to consider.

The Vita's pretty much dead, and they do want to make money. releasing it to the Vita can make losses instead of profit(not the game, just the vita version.)

The Vita is pretty much dead because nobody is supporting it outside of Japan. Even Sony don't care for the thing. I guess we'll never know if the Vita version will make a loss. Don't get me wrong I'm excited for Type-0 and I really wanted it to come out in English but the shift to home consoles (especially next-gen ones) took everyone by surprise so it's completely understandable why people are annoyed at both Sony and Square Enix for not having a Vita version. If Type-0 doesn't look like a proper next-gen title then I can't help but be disappointed but with that said, I'm one of the Vita's biggest critics I own one and have zero respect for the damn thing but that's because the games are so thin if you aren't paying for overpriced indie games you can get on PC for cheaper. I wanted Type-0 on Vita for Final Fantasy on the go, instead I get a supposedly great game on PS4/X1. I can't complain because at least the game is getting localised.

Haha, don't get me started on Sony's treatment of the Vita. I'd honestly be surprised if they even tried the handheld market for the next generation.

I have been thinking of getting the English patch to be honest. I'm just get around to it
