This was the date that was imprinted on the many plasma screens.

in the royals' office....Valeria Inanes the 4th's office.

The Queen of all humanity was sitting in the pitch-black room waiting for the screens to activate in full glow

while clicking her long finger nail against her wine glass

 

"Good afternoon,Your Highness...."One of the screens spoke up

"Good Afternoon"She replied with a wicked grin" Is it everything ready?"

"Yes,Your Highness,the Lottery we planned this whole month shall start in an hour."

"Perfect"The lady's smile grow wider."Please connect me with the event on live stream once it start"

"As you wish.But...Are you sure this is the best to do it?"

She was about to take a sip of her wine when she was asked this question.She raised her eyebrow."We already talked about this.It's better than doing it roughly,don't you think?"

They both wen't quiet"Very well then"The screen spoke back"Till then.Goodbye"

And so,everything went dark again.She was left once again waiting,sighing and enjoying the nothingness of the room.

The commercial played on endless number of billboard screens,5,000 meter below the royal office,though every single region worldwide

But we're going to focus in only one of them.The one our ancestors once called...Tokyo.Or to be more precise the old as time shopping district Shibuya.The streets were overpopulated with people that tried to make an existence no matter how.Their noises of restlessly passing by,talking,shouting and trying to cough out the foggy aura of their lungs were present everywhere.The city was always clouded,and nobody was ever sure whatever these clouds were going to set rain down or choke us.That's why gas masks were common even though you could still walk around without them...if you dare.

As the world passed by,only one individual stood there as his green eyes behind his gas mask were caught by the commercial.Almost emotionless he starred at enormous skyscraper that pierced in the clouds.Leaving him to wonder what was up there.

 

Now,it's time for you to step in this story.

Kaoru was knocked to the ground by the cannon. These A.I's were crazy strong. She managed to take her eyepatch off, and used her power to change her appearance to that of her brother. Maybe they would spare her. 

After she did this however, she fell unconscious, and would not be able to take any psychical pain, or the illusion would be gone.

When the electricity hit her weaponed arm, Eve felt herself being forced to step away and that gave her target enough time to escape for now. She wasn't expecting that, seeing he had no weapons she automatically concluded this man was harmless but he seemed he had something up his sleeves. The information about Allister having an ability stored in her mind and she quickly regained her composture. Don't come near the target, take him out from afar unless further notice is what Eve determined. Seeing how Allister was heading into a crowd Eve jumped high into the air above the crowd. When the people spotted her, they began to panic scattering into different directions. Underneath her feet, fire roared out allowing her to fly, making it easier to find her target. However what she found wasn't just one target, running next to Allister was a girl and who recongized her appearance from the TV who's also the winner for the prize. 'Kill two birds with one stone..' She aimed her cannon at them and waited as it charged until it was almost the size of a car. Eve wasn't trying to kill them, she's calculating where the shot should hit in order for them to be knocked out. Finally it was finished and Eve released the powerful shot as it landed a couple inches behind Allister and Kaoru. The shot exploded as it reached the ground knocking both of them off their feet as debris from the explosion rained down while smoke covered the area. Eve didn't hesitate as she went right into the smoke in order to find her two targets.

 

Panic started.A little look behind made his heart skip a beat..not in a goodway.He tried running even faster,grabbing Kaoru's wrist and with the other hand trying if the electricity show again.But it was too late...The next milisecond he found himself flying in the air only to collide with the

hard concrete.The whole distict went silent...empty...His vision was fogged by dust and the shattered windows of his gas mask.Left with little to nothing energy and contuousness,Allister painstaickenly cawled to his new "friend"-Only to realize she "wasn't" there.With that his body gave up,only a silhouette in the dim fog towering them to be the last picture that his green eyes saw.

 

Touka stopped as the officer came in front of her, slightly gritting her teeth. She was already thinking about roundhouse kicking the female but trying to make another run for it would only fail. Not only that, but her legs were already tired out from running. Crimson eyes slightly narrowed at her words and she stayed silent for a moment before speaking. "And what is it exactly do you want to talk about?" She almost hissed. Even facing the authorities, she was cold as ever with her tone. "If it's about that announcement, then I'm not interested." She moved the black bag more onto her back before crossing her arms. "Besides, it's going to be nothing but a load of bullshit."

At the sound of the announcement ringing through his head, Rabac stood there  in silence while obtaining this new information before blinking back into reality. The girl he was watching was gone. Just as he was going to glance around to see where she had gone, the ground shook, hard. Dust and debris rushed into his face, along with a whole bunch of people shoving him out of the way, most likely running away from something. He followed the direction everyone was heading away from. When he rounded the corner, he found two people on the ground through the smoke. From the data he received a few minutes ago, one of them were the winner of the lottery that were to be brought to the authorities. The other one on the other hand could not be recognized, as the face did not match with the name. "Kaoru isn't here...." he said said almost to himself as he started to move to the two of them through the smoke. He already sensed another AI nearyby, but perhaps they needed his assistants in case they became more resistant.

 

 Eve sensed her two targets nearby but she also sensed another AI next to them. When she found the two unconscious, her head cocked to the side in confusion. In place where Kaoru should have been was a boy that looks extremely similar to her. She was sure the one running away with Allister was Kaoru, or did she scan the face wrong? Her head turned to the other AI. He looked like one of those new models for AI. She picked up the unconisous Allister putting him over her shoulder. Eve might as well take one of her targets that she's sure about, the engines in her head whirled at the thought of the mechanic. Is he caught by the AIs yet? Or is he desperately escaping from this? She should drop off this man to the authories and search for the mechanic or Kazuki now that Eve knows his name. Maybe she could indirectly help him get out of this mess. She turned back to the other AI. “Find…the girl kaoru.”

 After saying that she flew off carrying Allister as she headed where the authories were waitng.

 Kazuki was only 50m from his workshop until a couple of people started whispering sort of loudly. "He's the one?" "Yea, he's one of those winners they announced." "Do you think we'll get a reward if we bring him to the Patrols or AI?" "We have to try, I didn't have a meal for 2 days." The mechanic broke off into a run, and only one second gone by before rapid footsteps followed behind him. 'Damn it, why does it have to be daylight now?' He cursed in his head. It was a good thing his persuers weren't very fast. Kazuki reached the door quickly unlocking it and slamming it close right when the people reached the door. They began pounding on it and the door seems to be giving in any time soon. He cursed silently again. His plastic surgeon is too busy and the crowd is going to break in soon. Probably a couple AIs would come and break in too which would be extremely bad. Suddenly an idea popped in his head as he dashed to the bathroom, covering the window with a curtain, making sure not a single light slipped into the room. Closing his eyes, he concentrated and the next thing he knew, Kazuki found himself in a dark alley on a side of the building. He sighed in relief, he managed to teleport from his bathroom to an alley. Hopefully it's far from the workshop. 

{Rachel}

"Well, let's start with your name." Rachel said politely. "I'm Officer Rachel Dean. That"

She jerked a thumb at her rookie partner.

"Is Officer Cecil. Pay him no mind, he's just observing."

She gave Cecil a meaningful look as she said the last sentence, which the rookie managed to understand and kept his trap shut. Rachel gave the girl a polite smile.

"And after that, we can discuss why the sight of patrol officers makes you nervous." She said, her tone indicating that it was up to the girl whether this was a simple conversation or something more involved.

Rabac watched as the AI left, not really bothering to reply back as he already knew she was going to leave without giving him a chance to say anything. If he recalls, he has seen her around before, Eve being her name. She was well known around here after all. Orange eyes went down towards the small boy passed out on the ground. It wouldn't be right for him to just leave the male there, so he scooped him into his arms. The boy was still silent. "It will be best to find your parents...." Rabac slightly murmured before walking away from the scene with the boy in his arms. His destination: a nearby police station.

Silence fell over her as her eyes slightly narrowed. "....Touka." There was no point in trying to make up a name on the spot, as it would only come back to bite her in the butt. Her eyes drifted over to guy with her for a second before falling back on Rachel. She's shitting with me, right? "Should nervous be the proper term for that? You officers can come to be so bothersome at times, it's best just to avoid ya all together. Besides..." She tapped her good foot on the pavement. "I needed a bit of a jog anyways."

{Rachel}

Rachel gave Touka another polite smile.

"Good to meet you, Touka." She said.

Cecil started to wave to get Rachel's attention. She ignored him.

"I would be careful about using that kind of reason with other patrol officers. They get kind of miffed at being call 'bothersome', much less avoided. Just a friendly warning."

She gave Touka a long stare, still ignoring the rookie.

"And as for your jogging, I hope drill sergeants don't see your jogging. It puts a lot of recruits' sprinting to shame. Still want to go with that?"

"Officer Dean!" Cecil blurted out. "This lady was one of the ones called to the competition!"

Rachel gave the rookie a dirty look.

A fake smile was plastered onto her face, followed by a slight nod even though she wasn't going to keep that warning in mind. She was standing by her comment. If they'd leave her alone when it came to her mini crimes of thief, then she would have probably thought otherwise. The smile dropped from the redhead's face at what she said next and didn't bother to say anything to that. They stood there in silence before Rachel's little partner-in-crime said something about the announcement. "Ah! Speaking of that....little competition..." She said, clapping her hands together as she took a step back. "...I'd best be going now if you just plan to have some idle chit chat with me. I'm not the friendliest person to be around. Like I said, I really don't want anything to do with whatever that thing was about. Got places to be, you know?" 

Rabac watched as the AI left, not really bothering to reply back as he already knew she was going to leave without giving him a chance to say anything. Kaoru slowly awoke, realizing where she was. Thankfully, she was discussed at the moment. As a boy, not any boy, but her brother, the real Kaoru.

"Hey! Let me go!" She yelled.

Her voice was completely identical to her brothers, appearance alike.

"Who do you think you are?!" Kaoru yelled, breaking out of the man's grip.

He started running away from the man, at a pretty fast speed.

Valeria enjoyed the whole view of Shibuya's chaos and having one the winners getting caught.But what about that stupid girl that joined him?

There was still clouds of dust surrounding them so the footage was almost unwatchable.She returned the footage back when Eve was ready to shoot the gas masked person wanting to see what stopped her from capturing her.Her pupils shrank when she realized.Immediately,throght one of the monitors trying to make a call,she called out of her robotic servants"Contact the chief commander immediately and tell him to bring all of the Shibuya winners to Sector 6's prison."Cevahir was organized in 6 sectors

 

The first was the royal office itself which floated above Africa

The second above North America

The third above South America

The forth above Europe

The fifth above Australia

And the finally the sixth above Asia

All the sectors except the royal one were populated with people and each one was unique with it's culture and technology.They were all connected with a express railway system,making transportation extremely fact and unlimited but the royal sector was the only one that it was prohibited for normal people to go to except if they were invited.

 

Back to the queen,She managed to get in contact a scientist.After a talk with him...let's say it didn't end well.

Rabac looked down at the boy in his arms began to start thrashing. He wasn't being harm since his skin had metal under it, but he lost his grip as the boy slipped out of his arms and made a run for it. If anything, he was pretty much left in a bit of confusion, despite the neutral face expression that hung on his face. All he could do was watch the boy run off until he was out of sighed before rubbing the back of his head in thought. So he was okay...Need to find Karou. There was no current data as for where her whereabouts might be, so he started walking in the direction that the boy ran off to, not to catch the child in particular but instead ask around if anyone saw her.

Kaoru managed to retreat towards her house, and as soon as she entered, she locked her doors, closed and locked her windows as well. She let herself revert back to her female self, letting out a sigh. 

Kaoru found one of her eyepatches, put it on, and changed clothes to something feminine for her own personal sake. There wasn't much she could do other then that. 

"Forget it. I am Misaki now. I will make up a Surname later." she snapped, staring at herself in the mirror. 

At least she looked like a girl now.

 After Eve dropped off your target to the authorities, she went to Kazuki's workshop only to find the door busted down and citizens searching every inch of his workshop only to find no one there. When the people caught sight of her, they turned and left the mechanic's workshop in panic leaving the building completely silent. The mechanic isn't at his workshop..then he must be hiding somewhere she concluded. Eve continued her search not only for Kazuki but for the other winners as well.

 'No way out huh..' Kazuki was still in the dark alley sitting against the brick wall deep in thought. Now that his plan to escape this situation is gone, he's bound to get caught. He bit his lip, he's not the kind to give up so easily but trying to fight something that's bound to happen is impossible. Kazuki got up and walked out of the alley into the streets. 'I need to look for Eve, hopefully she can do something about it.' 

{Rachel}

Rachel sighed. One day, just one day, she'd like people to actually be helpful.

"Okay, just make sure to stay out of trouble, Touka." She said.

She pulled out a small pad and held it out for the red head.

"If you'll just thumb print this, you can be on your merry way."

Cecil was about to say something, but was silenced by a look from Rachel that told him he had used up his speaking quota for the year.

The female stared down at the pad held out before her for a second before looking back at Rachel. "Oh don't worry, I'll make sure I will." She replied before pressing her thumb down on the pad. She didn't know what it was for, but if it was her ticket out of there, then she really didn't care at the moment. "Well then, is that all you need? Anything else?" She asked as her hands planted firmly on her hips. Her eyes slightly drifted to slightly went to Cecil, as she was a bit curious herself as to what he wanted to say, but it might end up bring trouble for her so she didn't bother to comment.

{Rachel}

Keeping up a polite smile, Rachel gave Touka a nod.

"Yep, that's all." She answered.

Once the screen of the pad lit up, Rachel pulled it back and put it under her arm.

"Have a nice day."

Again, Cecil wanted to say something. Again, Rachel silenced him with a look.

"Ignore my partner. He's new."
