Will the absence of Kitase hurt Kingdom Hearts III?

Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of the FINAL FANTASY series and co-producer of Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II is obviously not working on Kingdom Hearts III. Does anyone think this will hurt Kingdom Hearts III? Or is Rie Nishi up for the challenge?
