Kingdom Hearts: Dawn of a New Age

Posted

Time, time flows and continues. The worlds are different from what they once were. Time has passed since Sora was alive, things have changed mostly for the better. But now time may be up on all the worlds together. A dawning of a new age is beginning...

The World of Inner Darkness:

The world of the darkest darkness, the land of all evil. The sky was blood red during the day and pitch black at night. The sky was now a mixture of both, as a woman stood up on a high mountain top. She looked at the world below her. Every monster ever destroyed had found itself revived in this world. Every heartless, every nobody, and every other creature shared this doomed prison just waiting to be reborn in a new world. The woman watched as all the creatures were going about their lives here. A creature that looked like a heartless version of Momo from Avatar appeared on the woman's right shoulder. "This world, this prison, these creatures, they all deserve a second chance at life." the woman said.

The World of Knowledge:

In a different world far off, a young girl that resembles Kairi appeared in a library sitting down in a chair reading a huge book. "So, The World of Inner Darkness is where all the creatures go to after they are defeated. Interesting. Maybe that is the world that has been giving the world more trouble lately. Darkness has returned, and I bet that world is the cause. But what could be the reason?" Sam asked herself. Lately, she has been looking into why the darkness has returned, and how to stop it from spreading. Her great great grandfather Sora had once rid the worlds of darkness, but now he wasnt around to stop the new darkness. Now it was up to her to save the worlds from the darkness that has come back into the worlds.

It didn't take too long for Davis and the others to reach the Usual Spot. When they arrived, Davis knocked on the wall outside. "Hello, is anybody home?" Davis asked kindly.

Zion looked, somewhat uneasy. "Claire...listen. Back during Sora's time, there was a woman named Lightning. She lost her parents and grew up too fast. She became strong and refused to look weak." She then looked sad. "She only showed her true self when her dearest sister was in danger. She finally changed to save her. And man, back in the past, Lightning was incredibly hard to get into cat ears and a bikini." She finished with a joke lightly, before reaching up to take Claire's hands and grasp them.

"Lightning's sister? Her name was Serah Farron-Villiers. And her sister, one of my dearest and most loved friends...with amazing eyes and pink hair? Her full name was Claire Farron, known to everyone else as Lightning."

Zion smiled. "In the past, Claire, I knew you and your friends. Your sister...I fought beside them all. But you here means Serah is too. And if she isnt here with you, then I will help you find her if needed."

Zion looked at the protein bars. "First, we go to my home."

{Annistha & Zather}

"Hmm, well informed, aren't we?" Zather mumbled under his breath, as he halted and looked at Davis.

Both twins followed after Davis. Neither commented on Davis's ability, though Zather inwardly scoffed a few times.

"Way to kill suspense, I suppose." Annistha offered after Davis was done. "Though that does make things a little too...defined. Now come on, before Zather decides to beat us to it."

Twilight Town

Vay was also following Davis, pondering to himself. "If he can see my heart, why is he letting me follow him? He should know all about me.. And yet he knows my deep dislike of Sikora. Maybe he has hopes for me. Hopes which might not be ill-founded." After he was done thinking this, he started humming a tune, as he had flashbacks of his original imprisonment.

The World That Never Was

"Crime?! What crime have I committed?!" Yelled Vay at his judge. "I have done nothing wrong! So tell me, why am I being imprisoned?" The judge, looking at Vay with a displeased look, replied, "Nothing wrong? You call allowing yourself to be possessed nothing wrong!? You foolish fool! This dark being has changed you, caused you to grow darker, given you powers you should not have! Now, I will remark that you did manage to lose said spirit. However! You eventually reopened the watch! Claiming that you didn't know what was in it, as true as those claims may be, are no excuse. You are being banished to The World of Inner Darkness to keep you from being a danger from anyone else!" After this, Vay just looked at the judge, seething with anger. He then replied-

The sound of Davis's voice woke him from his recollections. "I hope she's here. I don't like wasting time." Said Vay, sounding somewhat impatient, and feeling angry at being awoken.

"Oh well, now tell me is this darkness the same type that went down with Xehanort?" a voice said as up in the sky Peter Pan appeared. He looked at Darklius. "No one is coming into my world and bringing darkness back!" Peter said with an angry tone.

Darklius smirks evilly at Peter, and summons his Keyblade. He looks on at Peter as he charges up Darkness in his Keyblade. "Perhaps, but I'm not the one who spread it first... I am assisting my Master in spreading it.. This World shall become one with Darkness.." Said Darklius, talking to Peter. Aeronus smiles at Sam, and gets off the train, and stands next to her, looking at the crowds of people. "I'm sure your brother can't be too far away, we could end seeing him hee close by." Said Aeronus, talking to Sam.

Rini was wondering through the streets of Traverse Town, picking up a few things as she was walking.

"Ms. Rini!" she heard a kid yell.

A little boy and a little girl whom Rini knew.

"Oh, hey Sasuke and Akira. What is it?" Rini asked.

"Will you buy us some ice cream please?" Akira asked, holding out some money.

"I will." Rini said with a smile.

She bought the two, and her some ice cream, the three sitting down and eating it together.

(Claire is an attempt at a KH version of Lightning.) Claire's eyes went wide when Zion mentioned the name "Lightning." They went wider when she heard her own name connected with it."Lightning?" She repeated. "She was like me?"Annistha stopped outside, waiting for an answer to Davis's question. Zather, feeling impatient, went straight in to see Zion holding Claire's hand."Am I interrupting something?" He asked.

(And riku, pleasedonthurtmeforthis)

Zion nodded. "She was."

Zion was about to ask something, when they were interrupted. Zion reacted on instinct. With food in her belly, she had strength. But the core of her power was tied to her love for others, and without one person she could pour her love into, she had trouble manifesting her power.

That's why she said "Sorry." And kissed Claire square on the mouth as she spun. She used the momentum to keep together, then break the kiss and spin around. Pulling off a Sekirei, her wings flared to life, touching the walls, as her six Keyblades, all disconnected from their dual forms, appeared in a hexagram, aiming at Zather. The kiss was her connecting - Claire was close enough to Lightning that Zion could feel the well of her love opened already, creating the river of energy the kiss would control.

In simpler terms, the kiss helped her ground and direct her powers most efficiently.

"Who the hell are you?" Zion growled. Unknowns. Enclosed space. Lightning. Or Claire, whatever. Zion went into Guardian Mode, her tattered clothing not really helping in her attempt to look menacing.

Then again, six Keyblades and golden wings of light had to mean something.

(Well, guess who I'm shipping now.)

Vay walks in after Zather, just to be yelled at by Zion. "I'm guessing you're Zion. Might I suggest not killing my friend here?" He points at Zather. "Him, his twin, a descendant of Sora, and I are forming a group to stop the spread of darkness. We figured you might want to join us." Vay explained patiently, looking at the 6 keyblades with fear. "And who is that behind you?" He asked, as he noticed Claire.

(well...that just happened. Way to traumatize a girl, Oath. Heh.)Anger, fear and confusion battle for control of Claire's mind when Zather entered. She had been reaching for her Struggle Bat when Zion moved. A few moments later, she landed on her rear, trying to make sense of the kiss Zion had just hit her with. But Zion wasn't the only one affected by the flow of energy. Something glowed on Claire's chest, inside her shirt for a moment as she convulsed once, then collapsed, blacking out.As Zion's powers activated, Zather summoned his Oblivion Keyblade and darkness flared around him. He pointed his Keyblade at Zion as her blades surrounded him. For a moment, he looked ready to escalate the fight. But the moment passed."Heh, guess I was interrupting." He said as he dismissed his Keyblade and his darkness dissipated. With Vay having already handled a quick explanation, Zather said nothing. He noticed Claire laying very still. Was she suppose to do that?"Zather!" Annistha called from outside. "Are you picking fights with someone we want as a friend?"

Zion relaxed, her Keyblades and wings fading away. She relaxed her stance and glanc...

"Claire!"

She dropped down to the girl's side. "Curaga!" She said imediately, completely on instinct. Her hands glowing green for a momemt, she carefully pulled Claire onto her lap, pillowing the girl's head on her thighs.

"Some water! Stat!"

(What else do you expect, riku?)

The World that Never Was

"Damn it, I guess he didn't notice the fight" Alisar said to himself. He had been waiting for a few hours now, but there was no sign of the man. He had looked at the scar in his hand. It had begun to heal, but it still looked ugly.

He glaced around, looking where the man could be. But there was really only one option.

"The Castle that Never Was, he has to be there."

Kohaku wandered in the castle for what had seemed like hours. He finally reached the place where Sora fought Saix. "You can see the moon perfectly from here..."Kohaku said, as he admired the moon's presence. "Uh! What is this....strange power!?"Kohaku exclaimed. "M-My arm...!!" Kohaku's beastly hand started to affect his arm. Now his entire left arm was a dark yellow beast like figure. "Dammit! I gotta get outta here!" Kohaku ran from the sight of the moon and found himself where Sora fought Xigbar. Kohaku's arm returned to normal. "Okay...I should...be safe here.." Kohaku said to himself. At that moment, the darkness presence returned, but it was stronger. Kohaku turned around and saw that it was a Dusk. "What the--!? I thought those things were extinct?" Kohaku stood up and slayed the beast. "Hopefully that was the only one---AH!" Kohaku was suddenly attacked with images of Riku, Saix, and Xehanort. "What the hell?" Kohaku asked himself before he realized he was in the Station of Awakening. "This place feels....familiar...." Kohaku started to walk forward before the platform broke into many pieces. He was sent almost face first to another platform, but landed safely. Just then, a few heartless appeared, along with some nobodies. "Something isn't right here...how did I get here?" Kohaku drew his sword and destroyed the beasts. The platform was suddenly enveloped in darkness and he fell through. He woke up on yet another platform but it was different. It had a giant Darkside standing next to the giant Twilight Thorn. "Are you ready to walk the path of darkness...?", the Darkside said, "...or would you rather sleep in pure nothingness?", the Twilight Thorn asked Kohaku. "Neither!", Kohaku shouted at them, "I choose the road to light!". "Very well, Warrior of Light...." The Darkside said as it moved closer to Kohaku. The Twilight Thorn began moving closer to Kohaku as well. "Back off!", Kohaku shouted. He went to grab his sword only to find it not on him. "Oh no!" he exclaimed as the creatures got closer. He couldn't use his magic or anything, and he didn't have time to run because heartless and nobodies restricted his movement. "In order to become powerful...you must experience fear and emptiness..." the beings says together before covering Kohaku in a black and gray mist. "Ah!" Kohaku screamed as he was covered with the strange mist. He opened his eyes to see himself in Traverse Town and his friends signaling him to come over. "Guys! You wouldn't believe what--" Kohaku stopped to realize his friends were getting farther away and he couldn't catch up. "Here is where you well experience true fear...", a voice said. Kohaku saw the dark figure he met in Traverse Town attack his friends, and send them into darkness. "NO!!" Kohaku shouted with tears in his eyes. He saw his friends trying to get help and escape, but to no avail. "Rosalia! Xima!" Kohaku shouted to his best friends, hoping that they would hear him. He saw that they put up a fight before they were both attacked in one stroke. "NO!!!" Kohaku shouted, now crying. He then saw everything turn gray and then saw his home world being destroyed. "Rin.....Haku...." Kohaku said his siblings name in a sad whisper. Rin, his younger sister of 15 years, had saved their mother from a boulder while Haku, his older brother of 20 years, saved their father from ungodly creatures of darkness. "Kohaku!", Rin said, "Make sure Mom and Dad are safe, I'll go help the others fight!". "But Rin, I--!" "Just do it!" She interjected. Kohaku casted Reflegara on his parents, a shield that would protect them against any attack for 4 hours. "I have to fight, Mother. You and Father should stay put here." Kohaku ran off to help his siblings fight only to find them holding hands in midair floating towards a giant ball of darkness. "Rin! Haku!" Kohaku shouted, but only to see their sad but calm faces float away into the ball. Kohaku's parents rushed after him, with the shield still intact. "I thought I asked you to-- Ah!" Kohaku started floated up to the ball. "Kohaku!", his mother shouted while she grabbed his hand. "Mother...Father...I love--" he was suddenly floating towards the ball at a rapid speed. "Mother! Father!" The last thing he saw was his mother drop to her knees and cry. "I....remember that..." Kohaku said to himself, "Now what?". "Emptiness." another voice said. Kohaku suddenly had visions of his world vanishing, and him being abandoned by anyone he met. "Ah!", he shouted and dropped to his knees". He was back at the area Sora fought Xigbar. In reality. "Everyone...." Kohaku said before bursting into tears. He wanted to stop but the tears kept coming.

The Castle that Never Was

Alisar had arrived at the gates of the castle. If he were to find the person he was looking for in this world, it would have to be this place. He could feel the dark presence in the castle, but he didn't mind it. He continued to slowly walk in the castle, looking around, but he found nothing.

In one room though, he did find Kohaku on his knees, but he knew he had no time for him, instead he chose to go around him using a corridor of darkness, and went straight to the top of the castle.

At the World That Never Was, where Xemnas was located in Kingdom Hearts 2 at the very top of the castle, a figure sat in a chair completely made out of keyblades from the Keyblade Graveyard coated in darkness. The figure was in complete armor that looked like Xemnas's armor in KH2. The figure sat there, motionless as though he was frozen in time.

Sikora appeared where Kohaku was. "Yes child, feel that emptiness, live that pain, remember that fear. Those are the qualities it takes for people like us. Your friends and family are all gone, but still there is but a hope to restore them. All you need to do is open your heart to darkness. Darkness is where your friends are, darkness is where your family is, darkness holds them prisoner. The only way to restore them from the darkness is to open your heart to darkness, give it every part of your heart, and only then will you know how to save the ones you love." Skikda told him.

At Neverland, Peter looked at Darklius. "No! You will not that the light from this world, you won't take the light from any world! I didn't help defeat Xehanort just so you could work for the person who takes his place. Now leave this place, or I will show you the true meaning of show time." Peter said readying his dagger.

At Twilight Town,

Davis walked into the room looking at Claire. He then made a bottle of water appear. "Here this should help her. It's special healing water." Davis said.

Sam thought of something. "Okay, I think I have an idea where Davis might be. Call it twin knowledge. He is in a place not to far from the Sandlot." Sam told Aero.

The Castle that Never Was

Alisar finally found his way to the top of the castle, and there he was. The person he was tasked with to find. He appeared to sit on a chair made out of keyblades, but Alisar didn't see any movement. It was as if he wasn't even alive.

"Hello, X." He said to him.

The man didn't move. There was like no life in him. But suddenly, Alisar could hear a voice inside his head. "Darkness flows, it channels. Darkness is the key to all knowledge. Tell me, what do you wish to know, was darkness do you wish to seek?" the voice asked.

"Long ago something was taken from me, and I wish to take that back. And the only way to do that is through darkness. And I wish to learn to control it. I wish to learn to control the keyblade I have so that it doesn't hurt me. So that it doesn't scar me. I embrace the darkness. I believe that through Darkness, stronger things grow. That is something everyone has to realise." Alisar told the man inside his head.

"A keyblade can not scare you, a keyblade can only fear you. The darkness around it is what you fear. But open all of your heart to darkness, and the keyblade will truly obey you. To find and claim anew, to lose is to find, to find is to lose. To find your answers, you must go to Castle Oblivion. There and only there will you find what is truly in your heart, and what you can truly do with your keyblade." the voice said.

Zion took it and managed to get a few sips into Claire's mouth.

"I'd check something but I'm afraid she might hurt me." Zion joked. She held the girl gently, caressing her hair. "First person I recognize...and you faint on me..." she sighed to herself.

"Great." Alisar started to leave but he remembered what he was supposed to ask.

"Also, I was supposed to ask if you knew what we need to overrule the darkness, and how to bring forth the darkness?"

"To overcome light, you must make all those with light in their hearts turn to darkness. Give them all a reason to turn to the darkness. Only then can light be truly absent. But remember, all light and all darkness are equal shares, you can't have one without the other. There is darkness in every heart, just as there is light. They are equal and can not be separated. But also remember, all worlds begin in darkness and also end, the heart is no different." the voice said as it then disappeared completely from Alisar's mind.

Davis looked at Zion. "You may recognize two faces here actually. My name is Davis, I'm the great great grandson of Sora and Kairi." Davis told Zion.

"...No, no I don't recognize you actually. ' Zion admitted. "I haven't seen anyone who looks like Sora or Kairi since I kissed Xion goodbye."

As Vay was still in the house, he asked Zion, "Xion, who's that?" With a confused look on his face.

Davis smiled. "But you do know Sora and Kairi. Me and my twin sister are the closest you are going to get in this time period I'm afraid. I actually did go and see your statue a few times, always felt like there was someone there watching back at me." Davis said.

"Never!" Kohaku shouted at the man. "And I don't have time for you, either. But we'll met again." Kohaku said, and them ran past the man. Kohaku sensed that the man was here, and close. He found him in the castle, taking to someone. "Okay.....now who is he?" Kohaku asked.
