As the sun began to rise over the ocean, a ship was finally about to finish a three day journey. This ship, packed with Pokemon trainers, was heading towards a small island far from any of the regions that the passengers arrived from. It had gone between these regions to pick up a number of trainers, and was finally nearing Anima Island. Many of the trainers had grown anxious, having to wait for so long...
May
May peered over the rail of the ship, trying to see if she could spot any land at all. Ugh... It's been three days now. When will we arrive? I can't wait to finally get in some battles... I can't believe that they banned battles on the ship. She strained her eyes, and leaned in a bit closer. She could barely spot what appeared to be land in the distance. At this same time, an announcement came over a speaker:
"Attention passengers. We're nearing Anima Island. We will arrive at Portus City in roughly half an hour."
May jolted upwards, excited that the news had finally arrived. "Yes!" She shouted aloud. "Time to win this tournament!" She'd waited a month after receiving her invitation for this moment. She was told she could only bring three Pokemon with, which disappointed her. However, she'd spent that entire month training Blaziken, Gardevoir, and Tentacruel to be the best Pokemon she'd ever used. Now, it was time to put that training to the test.
Silver
Silver stayed calm after the announcement. He seemed to not care too much, but inside, he was beginning to get excited. Alright, team... It's time to see how much we've grown ever since that day at the Pokemon League... Silver was determined to win. He didn't want to win for the glory, or to put losers in their place like he'd originally acted. He wanted to grow closer to his Pokemon, and show the bonds that they'd formed. After spending years training in Kanto, he believed he was finally ready to take on a bigger challenge.
(Sign-ups are here, I'll leave them open until next Monday. http://kh13.com/forum/topic/75066-pokemon-masters-tournament-rp-signups/ )
