This has to be the first time that Namco Bandai localizes a Tales game with no English dub. Don't get me wrong, It's always nice hearing the Japanese dub of the games but I'm still disappointed that they didn't hire any VA to do the English dub. It feels kind of lazy on their part. I don't want to always look at the subtitles during a cutscene. That's kinda what i hate about watching an anime in Japanese.

That's because it's an older hand held title that was never localized before.  I can understand them not wanting to spend the money to pay VAs to focus on newer titles like Zestiria.

Well, I don't think that being a hand held title has anything to do with it. But I think you're right on them focusing more on Zestiria though.

I know what you mean, but let's look at the bright side of the subject, we will have Tales of Hearts finally overseas

Its on the Vita and the Tales serie is not the most popular RPG,so they are probably not expecting huge sales for this one. If it was a downloadable title for the PS3,I'd buy it.

I agree. But there's something else about it that makes it even weirder, IMO. I remember seeing an article that they changed the name of one of the characters. Which means the text will be calling a character one thing, and the the voice acting will be saying another. Honestly, I don't know a lick of Japanese but names are pretty easy to pick out. I think it'd be pretty annoying. X_X
