Yeah, that thumbnail... Scared me when I saw it. Forgot it was Shinkawa, though. And yeah, he went freaking insane. I was watching it on my PS3, so I had to turn the volume down during that whole scene... Things would have been really awkward if someone heard. ._.

I was watching it on the PS3 too. xD I didn't even think about what my mom would've thought if she heard/saw that scene, though. X_X Glad she didn't come upstairs.

*changing subject*

I really like insane villains, they just seem so threatening, and its satisfying to watch 'em get beat. It's one of the reasons I was okay with the Alfheim arc, actually.

They're definitely interesting. We get a lot of villains who are always calm and serious, so they're a nice change. They're great at getting the audience pissed off at them, too. I feel like Sugou went a bit too far, though.

I can see why you'd feel that way, I'd be inclined to agree. Some of those scenes were definitely uncomfortable for me to watch. I thought it made it all the more satisfying to watch Kirito beat the living daylights out of him, though.

You make a good point. It was still really awkward to watch, though. My brother and I were watching it together, and he had to keep a hand on his laptop screen in case he had to slam it shut when someone walked in. Of course, he did end up having to do that... ._.

Yeah, that's not suspicious at all. xD I get where you're comin' from, though. Once I got a few episodes into that arc I decided to only watch it at night once my parents were in bed. Even outside of those scenes with Asuna and Sugou, there was still Sugu and her tendency to just not wear clothes. X_X Even then I was still paranoid. And cool that you and your brother watched it together, my brother won't watch it, even though I swear it'd be right up his alley.

It was our younger brother, so he didn't really think about what it could have been. xD And yeah, the whole reason why I won't rewatch ALO is because it'd have to be on my TV... And the dub probably just makes it worse. ._. As for my brother, he's really into anime and wanted one to watch with me, so he jumped on that chance. We haven't really been watching SAO2 together though, which is kinda weird since he usually watches it right after I do. ._.

Yeah...family walking in on that scene would have sucked. And I think the scene was pretty well written... especially with the joy when the fighting back starts and then when Kirito comes kicks him! I just don't want crazy people molesting people at the end of every arc. It has been two arcs in a row! Then again should I really complain when I get the chance to see characters like that get beat?*changing subject* The present grenade moment was cute, and awesome. Also I am a bit curious what the next episode is going to be like. Is it going to be the conclusion of the real world fight, montage of imprisoning the death gun members, and some dialogue? Or what?

So apparently this part of the show is called the "Phantom Bullet Arc"... way to steal from JoJo.

Okay, seriously, we have officially cleared through the first part of SAO II, and while I liked the newest episode, I still think we need to clear up some things about the Shinkawa brothers and just why exactly they wanted to pull off the Death Gun stunt... then again, this is an anime that's based off a light novel, so that may not be the case. However, the next episode called "Debriefing" gives off a hint that we might actually be getting more info on it after all.

Yeah, last week episode was actually 14.5, which summarized everything that happened in the story so far. Man, what is with this series and .5 segments? lol

I didn't know what the heck you guys were talking about, so I checked CrunchyRoll. Hulu doesn't have 14.5 for some reason. Well, from the comments it seems like its just a recap episode, so I guess no big loss.

Hulu had it listed with the clips, it was tough to find. It's not worth it, though. It literally added nothing plotwise, I wasted time watching it. :/

Episode 15 in a nutshell: Kirito and the others wanna get a sword, so they go on a quest... best synopsis ever.

Okay, really, Episode 15 is the start of a new arc in SAOII, where Kirito and the gang (now accompanied by Sinon in her new Cait Sith avatar) are on the hunt for the holy sword Excalibur. It's basic ALO stuff, nothing too major. However, we are getting some more depth into the huge world that ALO is now, and I can tell more depth is going to come. However, I also read (not officially) that this Excalibur mission is only going to last three episodes, and then after that the next and final arc will play and wrap up the show as a whole. If that's true, then I don't know what to expect; I'm an anime-only fan, no knowledge of the light novels over here. Even so, this new Excalbur arc may not be anything too special, but for the most part, it'll be a lot of fun. :)

Also, Sinon and her tail doe. xD

There is no final arc yet, the light novel is still ongoing from what I understand. :/ We've still got another mini-arc before that one, too. The Excalibur mission's actually one of the side stories from the Light Novel, so this should be interesting.

Anyway, I'm liking how this arc is going so far. The new opening and endings are great, too. It's funny, because I'm studying Norse Mythology in class right now, so I get everything they say when they talk about "Alfheim" or "Jotunheim" xD

And yes, dat tail. Also, looks like Sugu decided to lend Asuna her magic cloud from the first season. xD

Also, for those who want to see them, here are the new opening and ending animations! I'll put them in spoiler tabs, since there are slight plot spoilers in them. Apparently, the opening is sung by Asuna's Japanese voice actress, which is really cool!

Opening: "Courage" sung by Tomatsu Haruka (Didn't see a band name on this one)

Ending: "No More Time Machine" by LiSA

i downloaded the ep just right now guuna wait for my sis so we can both watch it.gah! cant wait to see it

And a new member is added to Kirito's Harem or in this case, Klien's Harem.

Ha, they messed up Norse mythology already. Unless it's in some version aside from what I read, there were no Flame Giants. There was one giant with a flaming sword which burned down the realms in Ragnarok, but that was it.

Also, Freyja was essentially the Norse goddess of beauty. Not surprised Klein's after her. xD Guess he found his first waifu.

By the way, that fight scene with the two minotaur-like enemies was awesome. The Flash is back!

ALLLLLL THE ACTION!

Everybody from Kirito to Klein got to shine this week, taking down monsters on their path to Excalibur. That and Freyja joining the party along with Klein's shenanigans made the episode for me. lol

The cliffhanger with Thrym showing up at the end just makes it all the more exciting too.
