Some children are born in this world with powers...called Minimums.

Minimums are rare powers, and only a select few have them.

In order to figure out who these people are, at a young age, boys and girls are sent to a testing site called Falcultas Academy.

If they pass the training course, they are accepted into the school.

Not everyone is accepted. A lot of people get turned down...and some of these people do have abilities, they just don't know how to show them.

Not everyone graduates, but a few manage too.

After they graduate, they are given a diploma and left to do whatever.

A place called Cafe Nowhere is offering jobs to people who are Minimum Holders to get a good amount of money.

But why would you accept a job at this place when there are way better jobs out there?

Because people literally hate Minimum Holders because most people are jealous of their powers.

Cafe Nowhere is the only place that seems to offer Minimum Holders jobs.

So will you get a job there and know you are safe with them...or will you go alone and die?

This is a roleplay based off of the anime Hamatora. You do not have to watch the anime unless you want to. However, it is not required.

Minimum Abilities--

Rules of Minimum Abilities:

1- You can use the ones from the anime!

Sonic Minimum- Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it.

Characters--

Kahutora Amaza, Detecting Minimum-- Silver Kuroki

Ryoshi Yamiko, Darkness Screening: This user can use darkness to his manipulation, turning the darkness into any image he desires. The Image could do little damage to someone but is meant to scare people away-- Dawn of Riku

Dagon Valefar, Nightmare Minimum: The user can read the fears of someone or something, and then can appear as the detected thing/item-- Stitches7769

Rika Bishop, Light Medium - works exactly like the Sonic Medium, except she has to have some form of light touching her target. She uses a lighter mainly, but when she needs to travel far Rika has a pocket spotlight in her hip bag. When she listens to music she can focus better, allowing for more accurate movement/attacks. -- Oathkeeper136

Sora Takagi, Dominion Minimum: Removing her outermost upper piece of clothing (jacket, shirt, bra, as long as the outermost from her skin is removed) causes wings to sprout. This gives her flight and a sort of feath blade attack, as each feather is razor sharp. If Sora has blacked out, the wings appear completely black. If she hasn't gone through a bad episode, she has pure white wings. -- Oathkeeper136

Kyle Satoshi, The Summoner Minimum: allows the user to manipulate the feelings in his heart and manifest it as a creature depending on his feelings at the time, also depending on the feelings Kyle has at that point, it will determine the strength of the Summon (I.E Sadness will Summon a Weak Creature, Anger will Summon a Strong Creature.) -- Scottish Skarmory

Halioko Yagama, Sonic Blast Minimum: allows Hali to control and direct sonic vibrations. Must have a sound to work with, like the sound of other people, music or her own voice. Music is best, though she also favors blasts from the sound of a percussion. -- rikunobodyxiii

Kimiko Tateyama, Sonic Minimum: Able to travel at the speed of sound, only while listening to music. However, the user must make some form of sound in order to use it. -- Neko-chan

Ren Suzugamori, Ride the Vanguard: Ren was able to call real creatures from his Trading Cards,Vanguard, and make it as his companions. These creatures are known as "Vanguard". -- Hazimie

Hajime, Midnight Minimum- Gives the holder more strength and speed. The holder is capable of picking up heavy things and is able to withstand exhausting work. -- Neko-chan

Feel free to start however you want, preferably heading towards Cafe Nowhere.

"Dad, you're babbling again." Hali said into her phone as she walked to work.

She smirked at the thought of her dad being flustered. She knew why he was like this, but he needed to say it.

"Sorry, honey." Miles Yagama, Hali's father, replied. "Just a...just a lot on my mind."

"Like what?" Hali prompted, though she knew already.

"Well...do you remember Eliza, from Grey Nights?"

Hali smirked again.

"Yeah. Nice lady, always liked her." She said.

There was a pause in the conversation.

"Scott told you, didn't he?" He asked.

Hali grimaced slightly. She had over done it.

"Well...yes." She admitted. "But he only did it because he wanted to give me a chance to get use to the idea before you told me. Which I didn't even need. I'm fine with you dating again, Dad."

Miles sighed.

"I guess I'll have to decide whether I'm more angry at Scott for spilling the beans or relieved that your okay with it."

"Dad, it's been over 10 years since Mom died. She would understand. And so do I."

She stopped in front of Cafe Nowhere.

"Listen, Dad, I got to go to work, but I want to hear how your and Eliza's date went later."

Miles chuckled.

"Alright, sweetheart. Until later, then. I love you."

"Love you too, Dad. Bye."

Hali closed her phone and smiled. She had always liked Eliza, and having her date Miles was probably the best thing for him. She sighed and went inside the Cafe Nowhere.

"At Falcultas Academy in class 2-A"

"Now would someone like to answer the following question? What is a minimum?" Asked the teacher bluntly

"Kyle, would you answer this question please?"

Kyle was not paying attention to class, he was staring out of the window with a confused look on his face as if he was thinking very hard about something.

"Kyle, would you like to come back into this reality please!?" Demanded the teacher, Kyle shuddered and stood up.

"Erm.. What was the question again?" Asked Kyle quietly. The class started giggling and whispering to each other.

"What is a minimum.." Said the teacher with a menacing look on his face.

"Uh.. a minimum is an. um.. ability that only few people have.." Kyle replied.

"And what happens to those who have such ability?" Interrupted the Teacher.

"They are sent to a test sight which is this school. Falcultas Academy." Said Kyle boldly.

"Good, you can sit down now." Said the Teacher with a disgusted look.

*BELL RINGS*

The bell had rang for the end of the school day, Kyle was relieved. Kyle packed his stuff away and was headed out of school when the teacher called him back.

"Kyle. Would you come here a moment?" Said the Teacher sternly.

"What's wrong Sir?" Kyle questioned.

"I am worried about your current state in class, you have not shown your minimum yet and you are never paying attention in class." Replied the Teacher.

"I have a lot on my mind.." Mumbled Kyle.

"Well I need you to get your mind on your work. You are dismissed." It was a short conversation and Kyle was certain the Teacher knew what was on his mind. The death of his parents.

Kyle headed outside of school, with people looking at him, whispering and laughing to their selves. Kyle was headed for Cafe Nowhere for lunch as it was the only place he felt he could relax and ponder at the endless possibilities of his dearly departed parent's deaths. He hadn't looked into getting a job there but he knew he was safe either way. He arrived and headed inside of Cafe Nowhere.

Sora was at Cafe Nowhere, her signature maid uniform freshly pressed and immaculate. She was busying herself with tables, doing her best to put on a sweet face...but it had happened again. She woke up in a white dressed covered in blood. It was on her face and clothes and hair, it was crusted and disgusting. She was terrified, and as she dragged herself into her home to clean up. She was terrified of what happened...and as the news displayed the bloody scene, she knew everything.

Now she was at work, fearful. She again contemplated suicide, but she couldn't cause people to mourn her. But she couldn't keep letting the blackouts happen...

So deep in thought was she, that she turned and ran into Hali. Falling on her rump, she rubbed her head, looking up.

"Sorry..." She said. "Are you okay?"

Of course, she was the one on the floor...

Humming. That was the sound that came together with the noise that the tap made while running water from a bathroom. The person in it was finishing normal morning routines.Below the sink was a huge black backpack that might break anyones spine expecially the fragile body of the girl she was almost ready to leave the bathroom undetected. That's when she heard noises in the hall and started panicing. You see,she wasn't the owner of the luxurios bathroom nor the neverending marble hallway behind the chestnut door.Suddenly the door slammed open by police men and an old lady trying to campure the intruder. But the bathroom was empthy. The lady tried explaning to them there was nobody in her house that they suspect but they didn't listen. After a sheer moment of silence, the echo of a fallen coin broke in their ears...from behind them,in the hallway. That's when chaos began."There she is!"one them shouted as gunshots start following her down the hallway like footprints. The readhaired ran for her life, trying not to slip on the colourful marble floor while the bullets made ligthbulbs explode from a few lamps she passed by.Turning your head around wasn't an useful option either because it would only show her the cops running above on the ceiling and trying to shoot her from there.Or rather....she was the one running on the ceiling? To her luck she jumped out from an open window, letting gravity help in her escape.Faster and faster she fell closer to her death destination....only to stop herself down as her nose touched the concrete floor. She let herself go colliding with it but it wasn't painful as much as falling from a rooftop from a skyscraper, like she did a few seconds ago. This is how Erin Mochime's morning started. She continued walking around the city, rubbing her eyes and trying to sink in the whole situation. The homeless girl was angry at herself because she had to leave her shoes in that stupid bathroom, now leaving her walk around barefoot and rip apart the only pair of ankle socks. And money was a tight situation too so not even her stomach was satisfied know.To make things even worse, her gray hues caught the sight of a few police officers asking people around.Without thinking she entered a nearby cafe and out of the sheer panic she bumped in someone.Well a few people."Oi!I apologize for that"she replied helping the girl stand up and heading to the bathroom."If somebody ask you if I entered here, just say NO"And just as she thought. The same police men entered the cafe a few minutes later, asking the employees that and showing a picture of a pale girl with gray eyes and messy short ruby red hair that stood out as a feature

"Yeah, I'm okay. You?" Hali answered Sora.

She leaned down to help Sora up, but was bumped from behind of someone else coming in.

"Whoa!" She called out, twirling her arms to keep her balance as the new comer helped Sora up.

She glared after the girl, but said nothing.

"Hang in there." Hali told Sora, patting her on the shoulder.

She waved at Kyle for the heck of it and went back into the kitchen area. She sighed in, washed up, and started up some burners.

Kyle smiled and waved back at Hali. Hali was a friend of Kyle's, she would always greet him when he came to Cafe Nowhere, they never really talked much with each other despite Kyle coming into the Cafe for the majority of his 6th year of Falcultas Academy for lunch.

"May I have a menu please?" asked Kyle, Sora came rushing along.

"Here you go," Sora looked exhausted.

As she was going away Kyle grabbed her hand softly.

"Don't overdo yourself Sora, it's not good for you." Kyle stated with a smile on his face.

Sora just smirked, "Can I have a BLT please Sora?" asked Kyle.

"Sure, i'll go tell them to make one." Sora ran off to place the order when the news flashed on the TV.

"Another minimum related death" was the headline, Kyle jerked and shuddered.

Kyle stared into space for a moment.

"Have you seen this girl?" Questioned the Police Officer.

Kyle had seen her, she was the girl who ran into Hali.

"No i'm sorry officer but I haven't."

The officer looked agitated. Was he after that girl?

((Please dont assume what my character will say.  It is a bit annoying, especially when they don't sound like my character. Sora would not have smirked at that, she's too quiet and shy to do so in such a situation.

Moral of the story: Don't assume how a character will act, because most likely you will get it wrong.))

Sora nodded at Hali, and as Kyle sat down in her section again, the exhausted girl hurried over, sliding a menu in front of Kyle...even though she had a feeling of what he wanted.

Then he grabbed her hand as she was leaving.

"Don't overdo yourself Sora, it's not good for you." Sora refused to meet Kyle's eye. "Can I have a BLT please, Sora?"

"Okay...I'll ask Hali to make one..." escaping Kyle's hand, she was halfway to the kitchen when the cops arrived.

Showing her the picture, Sora shook her head. "No...I never have seen her."

Escaping the police, Sora headed for the kitchen once more. "Hali?" She asked timidly. "Kyle wants a BLT."

The officer left.So the cafe was peaceful again. It was nearly 10 minutes later after he left,so the girl was anxious if they were out or not. After peeking from the WC door, she let a sigh of relief and sat on a table near by Kyle. She wasn't fully sure if she should leave yet,so it's better take a break and make a plan for the nearby future. And it was lunch time, which suprised Erin.So maybe here they had cheap food? Before she would order anything, she quickly counted the money she had.So maybe it was good opportunity to approach her?

"Burnt Lemon Tacos, coming right up!" Hali called to Sora as she pulled out some raw bacon.

With the stove hot enough, she dropped the meat on to sizzle. She pulled out to spatulas and started to drum out a beat on a counter. She had nearly burned herself when she drummed on the stove, so she learned to adapt. With the bacon frying up, Hali stopped drumming for a it to prepare some other items to go on the burner as orders picked up. Staying ahead of the game here was difficult, but it was what you had to do to keep your head above water.

"You doing alright, Sora?" Hali asked the other girl, concern in her voice. "You seem anxious."

In quick, rhythm based movements, Hali pulled out and assembled the other ingredients for BLT. She then grabbing one of the spatulas in her right hand, twirled it around her fingers, till she brought it down to scoop up the bacon, ending the last spin with her hand on the handle and the flat part out. She flipped the still sizzling meat onto the bread, her other hand shooting out and closing up the sandwich. She turned and grabbed a pair of tongs to get a bit of fries that went with sandwich meals. They were left over form last shift, but still warm enough to be palatable. She replaced the tongs where they were suppose to go and placed the meal out for transport to the customer.

"Order up." Hali called out, out of habit.

"Thanks." said Kyle as the waitress handed him his lunch. The waitress hurried off and Kyle had started eating when he noticed a coin on the ground, he picked it up and looked around, it didn't look as though it had came from anywhere so he kept it in case it was someone else's. Kyle had that confused, thinking look on his face, he wanted to forget about the headline he spotted on the TV. "Another minimum related death" was echoing in and around his head

"Surely that isn't a cause for their deaths.. It can't be.." Kyle thought to himself. The sandwich was left nearly untouched, Kyle didn't want to focus on eating. He just wanted to get those words out of his head.

"I'm fine..." she said to Hali, a brave smile on her face. "Just tired."

The girl moved around and did her job as best she could, and as Hali called "Order up!" She made a roundabout turn and ended up at the window. Taking the sandwhich to Kyle and leaving with a curtsy, she saw Erin counting her money. approaching Erin, Sora's small, soft hands uncurled Erin's fingers to get a better look at the coins.

"You have enough for some soup." She informed the girl softly. "If you're really hungry, I can put it on a tab and you can pay at a later date." She let go of Erin, then heldnout a menu. "If you want some more time to decide..."

(Hey, Neko wanted me to tell you that she's moving to her new house, and will not be on for a week or so, and she wants posting postponed until she is back.

Thanks guys, and I'll post when she gets back)

(Will do.)

"Oh it seems I got a letter!" Ryoshi said happily. He had all of the mail in his hand, and a special golden letter was sent to him by the Academy. "Great, another Academy letter," Ryoshi said with sarcasm. He began reading the letter and all it really talked about was the fact that he graduated at a young age. he had always thought that he graduated t a good age, but everyone else seemed to think opposite.  "Oh well," he sighed. He went back into is dark house and started talking to his mom about the letters coming to him. His mom was kind of in a agreement with him about the age thing, but her family, and her husbands family, were all smart folks. Ryoshi was just like the rest of his family, being smart in almost everything. He went to his dark room and stayed there for a while. He soon grew tired of being inside of the house so he went outside. "I'm going for a walk mom!" Ryoshi shouted. He then began to walk and saw a Cafe. "This looks like a good place to rest, lucky for me I had brought money along," Ryoshi said to himself. He went inside of the Cafe and sat there....

(I apologize for this taking so long.)Cafe Nowhere.

The name really spoke to me. For some people, perhaps that name told them that this was some edgy, liberal cafe that tried to sound mysterious but all it was was crappy coffee and poor musical choices. Honestly, that was fine by me. It drove away the general populace, and allowed myself a gentle reprieve and a place to go to when things were rough.

And damn, were things rough.

I do not wish to sound....arrogant, but I am an intelligent young adult. I've always had the highest marks in every class.....until I had found out that I held a Minimum. The Minimum that excelled at critical analysis and detection. I could read a person just by glancing at them. Their emotions. Motives. Personality. Weaknesses. That was my power. And due to that, my family shipped myself off to Falcultas Academy--the only place where a young Minimum like myself could go.

And I failed. I failed horribly. I managed to make it into the academy, but apparently my powers weren't good enough. Even if you managed to figure out who someone is, they always lied and covered it all up. Since no one could truly prove my power, I was expelled. My parents didn't take that well. They gave me a small sum of their wealth, but asked me to find my own way. I knew they just wanted a failure of a son out of the house and away from them.

So here I was, in front of Cafe Nowhere, for some reason going through an internal monologue instead of actually going inside. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose as I entered the mysterious cafe...and the haven for Minimums like myself.

(Is this a good enough start?)

Sora looked up as more people entered. "Okay."

She hurried over, bowing. "Welcome to Cafe Nowhere. Please sit anywhere you want, I'll be with you shortly." She gave them a soft smile and hurried to the window.

"Hali. I need some soup." She asked. "The cheap one unfortunately...if you could at least spice it up without getting into trouble?"

After Hali answered, she moved across the Cafe to where Ryoshi sat. Sora curtsied. "Hi. I'm Sora, and I'll be taking care of you today. Uhm..." she handed him a menu. "If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask."

She waited for a minute, just to make sure she didn't accidentally walk out on him talking.

"Hello!" Ryoshi said with a smile. He had never actually had someone talk to him directly. "I would like a latte," Ryoshi said.

(lol I didn't know what else to put there but latte or coffee xD)

He had begun waiting for his latte and just started thinking to himself for a little bit. "I wonder if everyone is just like her?" Ryoshi questioned himself. "I guess this is how people are like," Ryoshi continued to think. He hadn't actually talked alot to people, and this was his first conversation with someone else than family that talked to him first.

(Um guys, we're kinda meant to postpone posting xD Neko is moving so she said to not post for a week or so.)

Erin should have expected the waitress rush out toanother customer. But the fact she was at the exact place she was seaching for weeks, months, hell years in her perspective, both made her confused and happy.Happy that her insticts got her in here. But why was she looking for this place?Well she heard millions of rumours that here was the only place on Earth that can let Minimum holders get a job.For some, these were just silly rumours but to the redhaired it was a last chanceHer thoughts stopped when her soup arrived. The aroma coming from the warm bowl poisoned her mind. Before she started, she gave Sora the amough of money needed knowing that she won't be ordering anything."Before you leave,I just want ask you something quickly:How can contact the manager/owner of this place?I'm looking for a job so..."she honestly felt embarraset

Sora cocked her head to the side for a moment. Studying Erin, the young girl..was studying Erin closely.

"Are you a Minimum Holder, too?" She asked. It was probably true, if she was looking for a job her. But she had to ask, before contacting the manage. Her hands prepared to unbutton her top, and Sora was glad she always had an undershirt (currently displaying some video game) and a tank top under that.

The question here too and was now she believed those rumour 100%.It confused here that Sora's hands were ready to unbutton her shirt. Are you trying to seduce me-were the words that came in her mind but brushed off quickly."Yes,yes I am.I can't show it to you right now,I hope you understand why"

(This is my last post until Neko gets back, I just wanted to get the first part of Kyle's story out of the way)

He just couldn't get them out of his head. "Another minimum related death" He knew it was clear, minimums had some influence in his parents death, he didn't want to believe it but he knew that was the reason. He had only taken one bite out of his sandwich, he got up and walked over to the pale girl who ran into Hali and handed her the coin he found on the ground and turned to walk away, not even looking at the girl, "I believe it would be better if you had it." Kyle stated, he put his hood up and walked to the front door.

"To Hali and Sora, Thanks for the meal and good service, here's a tip for you both, From Kyle." He put two dollars with a note on the counter, he kept his head looking down at the floor. Kyle stuck a note on the inside of the door "I would like a job, I will come by tomorrow to discuss it." read the note, he did not leave a name behind on the note, he left the name blank.Kyle clenched his hands into fists, put them to the side of him and shoved them in his pockets in a sad manor, he walked out and looked over his shoulder at Cafe Nowhere and shook his head. "I will find answers. Even If I have to risk my life for them." He said to himself as he headed home.

(I don't know what the currency is whether it's Euro, Pounds, Dollars, so I just stuck with Dollars xD)
