All those debates have paid off good job dude. My only problem is with the Yen Said part. Even though the notion that Yen Said had sent Sora and Riku into their past bodies makes more sense then any other explanation how does it account for Sora and Riku having those bodies in the present timeline. It was my understanding that Yen Said altered there appearance and upon arriving at Yen Sid's tower they would change back and signify the end of the exam. If they fused with their past bodies wouldn't that interrupt the flow of time since those bodies would be removed from the timeline as Sora and Riku ventured to the present?

Shouldn't yen sid have explained this in-game, Along with Xehanort?

Yeah, but they're both old and their memory's not what it used to be. :P

Whoa, imagine Sora could tri or quad wield? That would be so epic!

But yeah, this theory makes complete sense to me, especially the one with Kingdom Hearts being "omniscient", as you put it. I have a theory that Kingdom Hearts itself will bring about Xehanort's demise, and although this isn't the way I envisioned it, it is a good way of putting it.

Peace!

The RoS exists outside time, neither past, present nor future much like how when you're asleep you're unaware of the passage of time. As far as the RoL is concerned The events of 3D take place in under a second because while Sora and Riku are in the Sleeping Worlds they are outside of time. The reason that time seems to pass in mysterious Tower is because it seems Yen Sid can alter the flow of time in his world as necessary. I think Nomura said something about Axel going though some kind of time compressed training while Sora and Riku were taking their exam. Think of the tower like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from DBZ

I can understand that but I mean Sora's story in TWTNW starts out in the real world as and Riku was also in the RoL during the end of his TWTNW story. Technically if what you say is true both of their bodies were removed from the timeline for a decent if not large amount of time.

Well, it's actually in the Ream Between but we don't really know if time flows differently in the RiB than RoL so that may not explain things (personally I think that since the time doesn't pass at all in the RoD since Aqua hasn't aged at all in 11 years it would make sense for time in the RiB to move slower than in the RoL) and even those events seem didn't take long. And Sora was put to sleep almost as soon as he arrived and was implied to have been asleep from the onset of the test.
