Today was a normal weekend for Haymich. He smiled as he walked down the street. He looked around the street. The town he lived in was of a large size, with nice novelty shops and winding roads. The highest building there was a 4-5 story high apartment. It allowed him a great deal of exploration. He loved doing that. Looking around every nook and cranny. He was so good at discovery. He smiled, breathing in and out slowly... He agreed with most of the tourists. This place did have a magical charms. And them realized he stole someone's watch.

 

And the police had seen it.

 

Crap.

 

He then did what else he did best... Run.

 

His parents were going to kill him....

"You're serious?" Freddy asked, glancing in his review mirror to see Matt's grinning face.

"When am I not?" Matt replied.

"Harvard? As in Harvard University?" Freddy continued to echo as he drove down the street in the family SUV. "The one in Massachusetts?"

"Yep." Matt answered. "And before you ask, yes I sent in an application and yes I was accepted."

Freddy opened and shut his mouth a few times. Greta, who sat next to Freddy in the passenger seat, mirrored Matt's grin.

"Oh, come on, Freddy." She said. "We've always known we were raising a smart boy."

"Well, yeah." Freddy managed, then smiled a little. "I'm just surprised he focused enough to get in a college, much less Harvard."

"Hey!" Matt playfully objected.

"That's true." Greta agreed. "He did seem to be more focused on trouble making then lessons in high school."

"Mom! Not you too." Matt objected again.

Both parents looked back and grinned at their son.

"We're proud of you, Matt." Freddy added, with an agreement nod from Greta.

Matt beamed. It was always satisfying to spring something big on his parents. It was a bonus when they liked it. Matt was so preoccupied that he didn't notice that Freddy had stopped the car.

"Out." Freddy ordered. "Unless your date canceled."

Matt snapped out of it and opened the door.

"Oh, I've been meaning to say that I think I should get my own car now." He said as he got out and shut the door. "If I had my own wheels, you wouldn't need to drive me around."

"Then we wouldn't see you at all." Greta replied, then waved Matt good by as she and Freddy drove off.

Matt chuckled, then turned away and walked down the street. Overhead, two ravens circled, watching the young man closely.

Rin rolled around on the rugged floor of her bedroom, raveling and unraveling herself from her purple blanket. She was trying to get to sleep...but that never works, so she put on sweat pants and a black tantop...and is rolling around like this. 

"I hate having human issueesss!!" she complained. 

She lived in an apartment, so the people upstairs were going to get mad maybe.

"What if god was one of us?~ If God had a face,what would it be like~" Elektra tapped her feet against the pavement as the local radio station played the song on the park's radio. Enma held his head as a vein could be seen popping out from his forehead,beating. "Do they have to play that song...out of so many songs?!"Enma hissed,growling at the irony of the song and the situation. They were damn well looking for a god among them,they just didn't know where he was...or how he looked like after being reborn. Was he different? Was he the same? Enma snapped at Elektra. "Would you stop the tapping?! It's making me f*cking crazy!"Enma yelled. "Oh come on Enma,you have to relax a little! Live life and all!"Elektra said as she stood up from the bench she sat on and started to dance along with the rhythm of the song,attracted much unneeded attention from the local boys. "I'm a guardian of the underworld! I have no time to live this life,I spend most of my time sleeping and waiting for some poor sucker to come by so I can eat him. And I said STOP WITH THE DANCING!"Enma yelled as he pulled on Elektra's skirt,making her sit back down. "Wha! Don't do that you almost pulled my skirt off!"Elektra complained. "Would it had made any difference?"Enma asked. "Pervert!"Elektra said as her hair suddenly started to hiss. "Whoa tell those damn snakes to calm down or I'm cutting them off."Enma threatened. Elektra brushed her hair with her fingers and the hissing stopped,making it look back to normal hair. "Well then,aren't you in a bad mood?"Elektra complained. "B*tch,my master is somewhere around here being tainted by mortal hands,of course I'm mad!...and where the f*ck is Odette? Hopefully she got inside a white van when offered candy..."Enma muttered. Suddenly there was a loud cry coming from a child. "Mommy something bit me!!!"The child cried as its mother picked him up and inspected the bite mark. As Odette came crawling out from bushes nearby in her mirage form,Enma walked over to her and kicked her on the side,to which she whined. "Why did you do that?!"Odette complained. "We're looking for Hades don't go biting kids around what if you bite him without knowing?!"Enma hissed. Odette stood up and glared at Enma. "Maybe that's why Hades left,he got tired of a prick like you!"Odette yelled. "Why I..." Elektra got her hands on their shoulders. "No need to fight~ How about we get some ice cream?Elektra suggested. Enma growled. "It better be chocolate."He hissed. He then glared at the radio post,which was still playing the song. "SHUT UP!"Enma yelled as he kicked the pole,and at contact it was blown off its hinges and landing right on the small pond across the park. "GAH!"Odette squirmed. Elektra quickly grabbed Enma,dragging him away. "This is why we can't have nice things!"

The spectacular treehouse was nestled deep in the woods near the town. Hidden by Mist and defended by the forest itself; birds, wolves, foxes. They all guarded the tree, and it's occupants. Six girls currently, though four of them were the immortal handmaidens to the girl in the master bedroom. The silver-haired girl turned over, and felt...

"Aura."

"Guilty."

Pushing off from the very marshmellowy pillows her face was pressed into, Rika sat up and grumbled. brushing hair from her eyes, Aura was poof. Gone. Disappeared. Missing. Probably cooking.

Stumbling down to the main room, Ariane, Diana, Nikos, and Ignia were sitting around a table playing poker. Arrowheads, lucky charms (like rabbits feet, not marshmellows) and other things were thrown in. Rika had to specifically ban strip poker after Aura beat everyone multiple times. It was ridiculous.

Now that the perverted stuff was out of the way, Rika finally trudged into the bathroom. Ten minutes later she exited, the girl ended up in a one piece red dress with tennis shoes. Stretching, the goddess reincarnated chowed down with her handmaidens.

"Nikos will be my escort. Rest of you watch the Nest. Aura...just be Aura."

 

That was how the morning went, and how, as Nikos tackled Rika clear of the flying lamp post (Park walks usually were quiet!), Aura hyperdashed right in front of the running trio. Her tails were hidden still.

"Who the hell are you and how dare you assault my Lady with a ridiculous music device!" She cried at them. "Have you no manners!"

 

 

((...sorry, but that flying radio post just was too good an opportunity.))

Elektra and Odette gasped. "Whoa that was quick!"Odette commented. "How did she even get here that fast?"Elektra muttered in surprise and admirement. Suddenly Odette and Elektra realized that it meant someone had seen him use his superstrenght,so they tried to hide the fact. "What?! Us?! NAH! We didn't do that!"Odette yelled as she waved her arms. "We're only humans we have no power to kick any radio posts across the parks and casually into ponds!"Elektra yelled,waving her arms as well. Enma rolled his eyes and got his hands in his pockets. "Manners shmanners,listen lady I obey NO ONE but my lord,and as far as I know you ain't my lord! My lord's not a girl! So whoever your boss is just simply happen to get in the way of my flying post,I never attacked directly. Though if I wanted to-"Enma smirked darkly before Elektra got her hands over Enma's mouth to make him stop talking. "Oh our delusional brother he thinks he's a god or something!"Elektra laughed nervously. "Yeah we should totally take him home and tie him to the bed before mom knows he got out again!"Odette laughed,pretending such false pretense as well,the two trying to drag Enma away before he said something that would get them in trouble. Enma bit Elektra's hand. "WHA! He bit me!"Elektra whined as her hair started to hiss loudly again. "How come you get to bite but I don't?!"Odette complained as Enma pushed her away by the face. "But since you're here I might as well ask,do you know anyone by the name of Hades?"Enma asked rather bluntly. "Enma you don't ask people for Hades just like that!"Odette screamed. "Shut up muffin tail I'm talking to the lady!"

In the distance, sirens of two police cars could be heard down the streets of the road Electra and the gang were on. "STOP KID!" Could be heard through the streets.

 

"I CANT!!!" Haymich said, running through street and sidewalk.

 

His psychiatrist told him that it was a rare form of kleptomania. That he could never give back what he had stolen, at least, it was extremely hard to. It also was one of the things that gave him a huge rush as well. He had grinned sometime when he had stolen small things.... They were soo shiny... It was soo fun to show how smart he was and-

 

No. He said to himself. This is wrong.... Soo wrong...

 

But he wouldn't stop until he escaped, or was caught

 

And rarely was he caught.

 

He bumped into Odette. "Sorry, miss!!!" He said, cops still a distance away.

 

And unknowingly stop one of the girls ribbons while he was at it.

"UGH!" Anuko said with a yawn. he had just woken up, and he had a nice dream. He began to scratch his eyes, and get out of bed. He had usually woke up later then everyone in his house (and average people). He began to walk around his room, looking at all the stuff in it. "I recall, most of the stuff in my bedroom was in my dream. Weird..." He said to himself. He then put on some slippers and went out of his room to eat.

 

"Good Morning!" His mother said. "Good Morning," Anuko said with a happy face. His fod was already on the table, and since he always wakes up later, the rest of his family had finished eating. 'I'll just be eating upstairs," Anuko said. His mother nodded. He began his way back to his room. "Ah can't wait to get out of the shower," he said.

"I'm going for a walk," Anuko said to his mother. At that time his father was home too, but he was too glued to the television screen. "Ok, be safe," His mother said. Anuko began to walk on the road. He was walking and walking,until he saw something that caught his eye. he had found a dead frog on the ground. "Funny, 'cause in my dream a boy was walking and he found a dead frog." He said to himself He stood there for a bit. 

With another hypderdash, Aura was beside them.

"Yeah, well, you three are the worst at hiding." She twirled, letting her nine tails extend, then pulled them back. "Kitsune." She said calmly...then sidestepped Haymitch with grace. "And from the fact you specifically said 'a god or something' when a more plausible thing would be like, a knight or a vassel or a samurai...oh, or a ninja from a ninja clan. Instead...god...my lord...lord's not a lady...he's a hothead...you one of Ares's jerks?" She asked brightly...then paled.

"Aura. Kindly stop harassing the people."

The Kitsune shrank back, Rika standing before them with Nikos just a bit behind her. "So. I hope Aura has not caused you much problems. Because I can always yell at her later if needed."

"That's it! I give up." Rin yelled standing up and throwing her blanket on her bed.

She ran off to her shower, her normal black skinny jeans and black tank top in her hand with her underclothes. She imminently cut the water on to a boiling hot, and when she got in, she kinda hoped she could burn herself to death.

It took her about 15 minutes to get out of the shower, so she put on her clothes, dried her hair, and brushed it just a bit, but it was still messy.

"This is horrible!!" Rin yelled.

She's done a lot or yelling, if I were her, I would stop.

 

Once Rin was ready to go, she pulled her hoodie over her head, and tied on her custom galaxy print Vans sneakers. And with this, she walked into the burning light of day along the stupid roads, hoping...just hoping something could happen.

Elektra chuckled nervously. "We aren't very good at hiding but humans can be rather dumb,so I think we're doing pretty well considering we're handling this hot head!"Elektra smiled. Odette was about to speak when she was slightly pushed by a running boy. "Wha!"Odette complained as she glared at the boy who kept running. "Rude!"She yelled at him. She then gasped and groaned. "He took one of my ribbons!"Odette complained,how only having one pigtail. Enma glanced back at the boy,quickly glancing back and forth. "He's being chased after the cops?"Enma muttered. He glanced over to Elektra. "Elektra,get Odette's ribbon back before she starts crying."Enma ordered. "Sir yes sir!"Elektra smiled as she turned to run after the boy. She glanced around and didn't see anyone looking at her directly. "Ok boys,get him for me."Elektra smiled as her hair suddenly started to extend as their mirage kept the snakes looking like hair. The snakes extended from their spot and wrapped themselves around the boy's leg,hoping to trip him and drag him back. "Excuse me! But I kind of need that ribbon back!"Elektra laughed. Enma petted Odette's head to keep her from crying. "Aura hasn't caused problems. She just refused to answer my question and started to b*tch me about the radio post almost landing on her boss or something! Though you could let me kick her in the lake as payback."Enma said as he rubbed Odette's head. "However,I have a weird question to ask. Any of you losers heard of a kid named Hades?"

The cops looked dumbfounded at the snake hair, and so was Haymich, except he was screaming his head off. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!" One of the snakes hissed, seemingly offset by his loud voice. "LET ME GO!!!" He dropped the ribbon. "Wait..." He calmed down. He shouldn't piss these guys. "Hades? Like, mythological god hades?" He looked quizzically. His head felt heavy as blood rushed through it.

 

 

The cops also raised their guns while this was going on. "Let go of the boy, and put your hands up!!"

Aura bristled, but a hand rested on her shoulder. She fell back obediantly, and Rika stepped forward.

"Hadesz? I have not seen Hades since we reincarnated." She said cooly. "I do not wish to find him, either." Rika stressed. "He was a horrible uncle and a pain in the ass." 

As the cops arrived, Nikos rested a hand on Rika. The young girl turned to the cops.

"Humans need not interfere."

 

A spectral bow appeared, then solidifed. With an arrow straight and true, the guns were ripped fromnthe hands of the cops as Rika began to advance.

"This is the affair of gods." She waved her hand, causing the cops to slump. "Nikos. Inform the others. Have them deposit these officers somewhere safe." 

Nikos bowed and ran off, and Rika turned to Enma and Odette. "Assaulting Aura is the same as assaulting you - an insult to a god." Her bow shattered and faded away. "From your hotblooded retorts I assume you are a sadly genderbent Fury, or possibly event Cerberus. Maybe Thanatos. Your friend there is a Gorgon...interested to know which one. And your small companion...hm...Mormo." the girl looked at Enma. "Ah...there....Cerberus." Rika studied them.

"I am Artemis. Goddess of the Hunt, wild animals, virgins, and apparently Santa Claus."

Odette ran over to the boy and picked up the ribbon. She squealed and jumped up and down as she fixed her hair with the ribbon. "Thanks Elektra!"Odette chirped. "No problem sweety."Elektra smiled. This group definitely wouldn't be winning awards for incognito modes. Enma turned to the boy. "Yes,that Hades. You know him? If you do you better start talking and tell me where he is."Enma said in a rather calm voice. His eyes softened suddenly,his other head taking over for a minute. "I-I mean,if you can. If possible. We just really need to know where he is and all..."Enma muttered shyly. Elektra pulled the boy closer as her snakes hissed at him. "Sorry about the snakes. They just don't like loud noises,and Odette really wanted that ribbon. Hopefully you can forgive me,yes?"Elektra said with her sweet smile,her mirage appearance still making her look as the sweet teenager most people would see her as. Enma groaned as a vein could be seen popping from his forehead as he felt himself facepalming. "F*cking Odin I just want to know where Hades is!"Enma muttered. He glanced over at Aura. "Well if you find him can you say Cerberus is looking for him?"Enma said simply as he handed her a card with a cellphone number on it. "Contact me if you see him."Enma muttered. Odette growled. "Enma that's rude! I'm Odette! Mormo and daughter of the King of Ghouls,consultant to Hecate!"Odette smiled laughing. Elektra waved from her position. "I'm Elektra,yo! I'm the unpopular little sister of the Gorgon sisters...none of them like me anyways!"Elektra laughed. Enma groaned. "I'm Cerberus,my human name is Enma. I'm looking for my masters,and these two are my partners."Enma growled.

"Wait, what!!!" Haymich looked around. "S-so gods exist?" He looked around. He looked around. "What the hell!?" He looked At Artemis. "No w-" the earth shook a bit. "Eh..." He looked around. "Anyone feel that?" He looked around again for a response.

"Ugh, I am too deep into things," Anuko said. "I should just walk along."

He started down the road he was walking on, and saw a bunch of people and the cops. "Oh my gosh, wow, so much people are there, and some kid looks like he's about to get arrested," he said. "Maybe I should go check it out..." Anuko said while walking closer but slowly.

Elektra smiled down at the kid. "Well considering you've seen a bit too much to go back,and the fact that we could always kill you to hide the evidence...yeah,Gods exist! Not only gods,but a bunch of other creatures too! I'm the smallest and unpopular Gorgon sister!"Elektra smiled as she stuck her tongue out playfully. Odette glanced over at the kid. "I'm a Mormo. I bite naughty children that misbehave...considering you're in trouble with the law means that I should totally bite you!"Odette smiled,showing off her sharp fangs to which caused a rather painful bite to any living being that suffered it. Enma scoffed a bit before his eyes widened a bit in surprise as the ground shook slightly. Odette and Elektra squeked in surprise. "I felt it!"Elektra said. "I did too!"Odette muttered. The two of them then turned their heads to Enma. Enma glared at them. "I felt it. But it wasn't me. I haven't summoned a gate to the Underworld or anything."Enma said as he glanced at the kid with a death glare. "You look like the kind of loser that I'd eat for a snack."Enma said as he licked his lips slightly. When was the last time he ate a poor unfortunate soul that managed to get itself lost in the Underworld? "Oh don't mind Enma! He's always mean to everyone just because he's a three headed jerk of a Cerberus!"Elektra hissed. "I dare you to say that again snake for brains!"Enma growled.

Matt walked down the street in a world of his own. Things were going perfectly, in his book. His parents were happy, he had a hot girlfriend and his future was looking up.

"It's great when the dice roll your way." He whispered to himself.

High above in the sky, two ravens circled. They had seen glimpses of some of the Others gathering. Even the master met some without knowing it. But now more were meeting and remembering. It was time for the master to remember.

One of the ravens circled away to keep an eye on some of the others he had identified, while the other swooped down. It cried out, its caw reverberating oddly. Matt looked up at the sound to see the raven diving for him, its talons out. Before he could react, the bird nearly hit his face, its talons striking out and taking his left eye. Matt yelled out in pain, dropped to his knees, his hands clasped over the empty socket where his left eye had been as the raven sped off.

"God's exist?" Anuko said to himself. At that same time the thought of mythical creatures cam up to his mind and as the girl said, they exist. 

The thought was troubling him too much, but he still got closer to the scene.

As soon as the rumbling ended, it seed the whole world had stopped moving. The cops, and all other non mythical creatures seemed paused in time. Footsteps could be heard down the street, as a man came up to Haymich and the group. He was cloaked in a black trenchcoat, hair short and greed dye stripes in his blond hair. He stopped in front of them. "Evining, gentlemen." He said with a smile.

 

There was another man hiding in the shadows where Matt was, waiting on his time to strike... He adjusted his bow and looked at his sword... He just had to wait...

Odette and Elektra looked around. "They're all trapped in time...?"Odette muttered. Enma's eyes narrowed as the man walked over to them. "Elektra,tell your snakes to let the kid go."Enma ordered. Elektra nodded and the snakes let go of Haymich. She helped him up. "Er,sorry about that. The snakes say sorry too!"Elektra smiled. Odette hid behind Enma as the man stood in front of all of them. "Who is he?"Odette asked. "I'm about to find out."Enma hissed as he glanced up at the man,seemingly not impressed despite the world around them seemed to have stopped completely. "Evening."Enma said rather casually,his  hands in the pockets of his jackets. "Considering how you made everyone around us paused like that I'm guessing you have to do something with the god of time,maybe a son,an ally? Are you Chronos? That old geezer owes me five bucks by the way!"Enma said. His cocky personality as the gatekeeper of the Underworld,the fact that everyone or almost everyone feared him,made him fear nothing. When he did fear,it was because the shy head was thinking stuff logically and was doing it so they wouldn't get themselves killed. "What brings you at this neck of the woods? Are you looking for someone? I'm looking for Hades. Have you seen Hades?"Enma asked. "That's all you ever ask!"Odette hissed.

The man in black smiled. "You could say that he 'works' for us...." He chuckled. In an instant, the mans dagger was drawn, and was about to pierce Enma in his stomach. "As does the old man who made this..."

 

Haymich rubbed his head, and looked at Electra. "It's okay..."

Rin immidently started looking around as soon as people just stopped moving, she noticed that there was one boy looking around like her, this boy was Haruka.

"Um...Sir?" Rin called, making her way to Haruka and taking her hood off.

"Do you know what happened?" she asked, then noticing his cat ears.

Could he be a beast or a god like her?

Haruka shook his head, looking at Rin.

"I have absolutely no idea." he said with a small smile on his face.

"My name is Haruka, and you aree...." He introduced.

"I am Rin, nice to meet you." she said with a slight bow to the head. 

"Shall we go look for others?" Haruka asked, offering his hand. 

Rin didn't even seem to notice his hand, just simply nodding.

"Lets." she said simply.

Enma's eyes widened as the dagger was about to get him. He had no weapons. He didn't ever saw the need to have them. He was a three headed beast in his real form and a master at hand-to-hand combat and breathed fire in his human form. This was going to hurt! But suddenly Odette got in the way,jumping up as she bit down on the knife. She couldn't seem to bite through it,it must be a holy weapon. But she fared well as she refused to let go,the tip of the knife cutting her tongue as the taste of blood tingled her tastebuds. Enma's eyes widened and softened in worry as the other side took over. "Odette!"Enma yelled in a worried matter. It almost sounded as if he had become another person. "I can't bite through!"Odette growled with her mouth full. Elektra's eyes widened as she glanced over at her two friends. "It seems we've gotten ourselves in trouble!"Elektra said as her snakes hissed at the man. Enma was quick to anger as he dashed forward at the man and grabbed him by the neck. "If you did anything to my master I will murder you! Where's Hades,what the hell do you want?!"

An arrow flew by the man's ear, and now four girls surrounded him, bows drawn. Aura's nine tails were extended, each tip glowing with blue fire.

"You have harmed one of the wild animals of my dominion. She might be of Hecate and the Underworld...but one does not choose their father or mother."

Her arrow glowed with light. "Now test me, and see why me and my Runners are not to be trifled with...nor is it good to piss off Wynterfall, She tends to get hot headed."

Matt's cries of pain died down, leaving him on his knees on the sidewalk. A couple of people were crowded around him, one of which was calling for an ambulance. Keeping his left hand over his empty eye, Matt glanced around him with his good eye. Where in Hela had that bird gotten to?

"Taking it easy, sonny." An older man said to calm Matt. "We got medical attention coming."

"Thanks." Matt managed, his voice quivering a little.

Someone at the back of the crowd pushed their way forward till that someone, a girl with red hair, broke through the final ring a people and gasped.

"M-Matt?" She said, her hands over her mouth.

Matt inwardly sighed. This made things more complicated.

"Hi, Maggie." He greeted as cheerfully as he thought he could do. "I might need a rain check on that date."
