Hey there, we've decided to make a small update to the Media forum guidelines. Don't worry, it's nothing too drastic, and many of you may have notice that I've been editing posts to fit this standard for awhile now. Some of you also already do this of your own accord, so thank-you.
-When making a post that contains more than two videos, please put the videos in spoiler tags.
By placing videos in spoiler tags, it prevents them from automatically loading when the thread page is opened. Since there are many threads in this forum in which multiple members post multiple videos, loading threads with slower internet connections can be a pain. The use of spoiler tags helps to alleviate this issue, while still allowing users to post videos.
PLEASE NOTE:
This guideline applies to when you are making a post with more than two embedded videos. This means that this only applies when a video is actually viewable from your post. If you are just posting links to videos, and others need to click on the links and go to another site (like YouTube), this does not affect your post.
You can put all the videos in one set of spoiler tags, or put each in it's own set if you want.
You can leave one or two of your videos outside the spoiler tags, so long as all the others are inside them.
All other guidelines and rules about posting videos have not changed.
