After completing everything to do in Gummi Ships in Final Mix, I have come to realize that gummi ships are extremely fun.

With customization and missions, the gummi ship portion can keep you entertained for hours.

I often hear complaints about how it is boring and unnecessary. That is because you get however much you put into it. It's actually great in terms of game design and can be really challenging. It's great to add to your gummi ship and make missions easier.

There a lot of things done right with gummi ships.

In terms of story, I think it works great. Traveling between worlds isn't a picnic. It's a life and death struggle every time you travel between worlds. And when you get the warp gummi, you feel extremely relieved. You actually feel what the characters would be feeling.

I'm having a hard time putting it into words, but pease feel free to challenge me so we can discuss gummi ships. I think it is a great part of Kingdom Hearts. What do you think?

Fool. Not at all. But please, let us have a discussion on why you think I am wrong.

When I play Kingdom Hearts it's for the story and combat system, not its mini-games

I prefer BbS where I can just go to the world I want to and enjoy the plot without the hassle of navigating through asteroids and enemy ships trying to kill me

That's just me though, some people enjoy it

And that's perfectly fine. But it's also a little narrow minded. What's the point of going through a story if you do not get immersed into it. Kingdom Hearts is a game that often tells you how to feel rather than give you an actual feeling through gameplay. The gummi ships does this exceptionally well. If you ever feel frustrated at the gummi ship stuff, then it's doing it's job.

i thought it was...alright. the thing that bothered me was getting all the blueprints and you'd actually have to finish the course to keep it.

Fool. The only time that bothered me was when I needed a certain blueprint, got it, then Monstro would swallow me.

If you know what you're doing, Gummi Ships can be extremely fun :D

Yay! Someone that agrees that the gummi ships in KH weren't evil horribly creations thrust upon gamers.
