Here are some ideas I have for the site.

 

1. More interactive activities. I know it's just a forum but more people may come and stay if we have more interactive stuff on the site. Perhaps more contests that don't need high skill to compete.

 

2. Get rid of the trolls. Some people are leaving because of others who like to put down peoples feelings and opinions. More people need to report incidents like that, but more action is needed.

 

3. Teach the noobs. Some people don't like how the new members break all of the rules and stuff. I think some of the new members don't even bother to read the KH13 rules thread. Maybe after people sign up for the site, you can set the page to be the rules thread.

 

 

That's all of the ideas I have for now.

well at least he's actually suggesting new ideas, instead of just complaining about the site.

 

getting rid of the trolls would be terrible, the site is so much fun with nathan and chronic

The only thing I can help with is my first suggestion, I don't have the power to ban people or anything like that. And only Aaron or DChiuch can do number 3.

 

I'll help as much as I can, all I want is the site to get better. Anything I've said or done in the past 24 hours I've apologized for, and if that was hurt the site, I apologize for that too.

Yeah, we have banned a majority of them, ban logs say so. Anyway, if YOU or ANYONE sees a troll over CHAT, the FORUM, or PRIVATE MESSAGES then help us out and let us KNOW, we only know so much of what happens okay? We need your help.

Also the whole, "ohmahgawedthisforumssiteissoboring." People were saying.

... Yeah. It takes effort to make it interesting. Make threads, be more active (but this doesn't count whining and complaining).

 

The spam forums really do need to be addressed. I'm trying to work on it, and I think as for role-playing (which I hear is SOME of the reasons people are annoyed) goes it needs to be organized. I have a small set of "guidelines" I can post, and others really need to start putting more effort because to be honest.. it's very spammy and is driving people off. D8 -- Random can be a problem too, but it can also be addressed.

 

The report button is collecting dust in the corner of everyone's post D8

If a troll does appear and makes you uncomfortable, you really need to tell us. Just sitting there and arguing with them will only make it worse if that's what happens.

Yeah, we need more reports, some things we miss because we do not receive reports, but underneath everything we are doing as much as we can but you have to let us know and not hide it if you are being hurt by what others are saying. We know this happens but we need you to tell us, and btw we do CARE for all of you. We're not trying to take away your fun. We talk about your ideas everyday and we respect you all and what you have to say, but give us a reason and don't let us sit in the dark.

Maybe a subsection in Random for roleplay related threads, but not really a roleplay?

 

Then again, that's basically what forum games has turned into. But maybe another subsection to filter out the roleplays and keep all of the sections true to their name?

Yes, but you can contact us through other ways and let us know?? Private messages, chat messages even, or msn, email, anything....

The thing is.....THEY don't know that. I don't have any problem with trolls, I just know it's a problem for some others.

 

Maybe the post options should be added to the KH13 rules and regulations so people know what they are there for, because some people really don't.

We have good and bad trolls, and well the mods have banned most of the really bad ones.

And I agree with them when they say that we can't make them fix everything. We gotta do our part too.

It's hard to get some noobs to understand that yes there are rules on the forum. Most members ignore the rules and do whatever. But the mods are trying their best and so are the admins, but they can't do EVERYTHING.

I agree, something needs to be done, as going into the personal forum is now depressing with all the people leaving. I would gladly help, but I just don't have any idea what to do. Most of the ideas I have heard I can't actually put into action. But I will help in almost anyway you may need me too. And thank-you SoraKing for making this thread, as it really is an issue.

I think Chronics gone for good and with Kushi gone too the site lost some of its best members, Im trying to fill their shoes but well I dont know...

Some of us regular members have limited power, as I have stated earlier. We don't want the mods and admins to do everything, but somethings need to be done by them because we can't do them. But we will fix this together.

for me, i have trouble seeing the whole picture,

 

i try my best to provide help for the site, but im not really good at that,

 

if my mind actually clicks on then i probably will realize that i need to do something, but sometimes it doesnt then i realize the mistake i made and regret doing it

 

ill try to do better as a member and look forward to the site possibly being like it was when i first joined, which i can assume was better than it is now, but i can't blame anyone directly for that, heck, i might be an indirect cause of it some how

The thing is, despite everything that is avaliable here, what is KH13 at it's core? A news site for Kingdom Hearts games. And with E3 finished about a month ago, news is going to be very slow until August and September. As a result, people are running out of things to do to pass the time here.

 

We can add whatever we want to keep people entertained, but let's face it, the only real way to get things going here again, is for more Kingdom Hearts news to start rolling in, and that's not in our control.

Yes, once the regional versions of BBS come out, which for NA is on September 7th, there will be a boom here, I can guarantee that. Just like the boom happened in January when JP BBS was released.

Is there anyway to report ppl who say like REALLLY WEIRD stuff on the chat system, like perverted things because that type of incident happened to me a couple of days ago and it was really weird and perverted. Because I think it would be very helpful if we had a report button on the chat system where we highlight the things that we think needs to be reported

Message a mod, copy and paste the chat and send the message. Easy as that ._.

oh ok sadly I dont have the perverted message that the person sent me but if I still had it, then I would do that, and also, I think that when the person is signing up, they must read all of the rules on here before they can officially sign up.

I agree, heartless, but how could we make sure they read them before the signed up?
