Below is a news story that is completely false, but proves a good point. Square Enix's last financial report was not the best it could have been. With Square's next finical report ending at the end of March, it would be a good idea to release Final Fantasy XV in Japan in March, and here's why. Big titles coming out for Square to make a lot of money off of this year is Theatrythem Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix. While I have no doubt these two games will sell well, based on the sales figures we've seen so far, it wouldn't be enough for Square to get out of the red zone. If they were to release Final Fantasy XV sometime towards the end of March, I predict that it would get Square back in good finical standing. Now, I know this is probably next to impossible to accomplish, but what do you all think?

Lol.

Square Enix's 2013-2014 financial year was great, they made a very nice profit on the back of ARR, their mobile division, X/X-2 HD Remaster and more. March is apart of their 2014-2015 financial year and seven million for that year is not nearly enough to include FFXV. Square Enix are going to expect FFXV to sell about seven million.

Well only the 2014 part of it was great thanks to XIV A Realm Reborn

from the beginning to mid 2013 they were reporting constant financial losses and if I remember correctly has closed their western mobile division(but kept the Japanese one for some reason) not to mention that they bitched about Tomb Raider's sales even though it sold incredibly well

What on earth are you talking about? Their mobile division is amazing. Their western mobile division is still putting out games. They just released a new Hitman game which was very successful with a new one on it's way. And their FF remasters and remakes always sell well.

Tomb Raider met their expectations after sales of the Definitive Edition.

X/X-2 HD Remaster was listed on their financial review confirming it sold well for them.

they lost a lot of money on lightning returns

There's zero proof of that. Japanese stores got less copies than past entries, it still sold over a million copies not including digital.
