Dear Upcoming Students,

 

It is with great enthusiam and joy that I write to you to you today, as there are only a few days before your journey to become a great huntsman or huntress begins. I hope you prepared yourself for the challenges and trials you'll be facing but do not fear, I am sure you will achieve success and accomplishment. Please don't forget there will be airships and boats to transport you to the academy. Be ready for anything, and I wish for your safe arrival.

You have been chosen to attend Beacon Academy because either you've been to a special school that train you for combat (like Signal Academy) or be invited to the school after showing exceptional skills (like Ruby). With high hopes in your heart, you enter the airship that'll take you to Beacon expecting a regular school year yet little did you know, two criminal masterminds using a group of Faunus called the White Fang is plotting something big, something huge.

Our first post will just be about getting off from the airship then there will a time skip to the second day at Beacon when you are on the cliffs ready to be launched off to the Emerald Forest.

Name: Bella Morris (But mainly called Beast, based off from the Beauty and the Beast)

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: 

Weapons: Two Dust-Powered Katana (Has the following Dusts: Red-Fire, Blue-Ice, Yellow-Electricity, Purple-Increased Attack speed) 

Semblance: Animal Senses- Bella's eyes turn red and she grows canine teeth when her 5 senses (touch, smell, hear, taste, and sight) increases dramatically. This form also increases her speed (not as fast as someone with the  semblance of speed) and more physical strength (Ex. She can jump high or carry things she couldn't before).

Symbol and the location: 

It's completely red and it's located on the back of her shirt.

Are you a Faunus? No, many people mistaken her for one though.

Personality: Bella take things very seriously barely even laughing to any jokes or cracking a smile. However she's highly OCD causing her to fuss over many things dropping her scary personality. In unfamilar situations Bella can easily jump to conclusions finding violence as the solution for everything. 

Bio: Unsurprisely, her whole family is strict. Ever since she was born, Bella was groomed to become a huntress. Outshining her siblings, Bella was one of the students who were in the top 5 in her academy. Soon enough, people started calling her Beast because of her semblance. Easily getting into Beacon, Bella was determined to be the most strongest huntress alive.

Semblance: Copy Cat - Seeing someone's semblence allows Leo to momentarily use their ability himself. He can store up to 3 copied semblances but can use each one only once unless he sees it again.

Are you a Faunus? Yes, he has a black cat-like tail. 

Personality: Leo is outgoing but he can be a goofball. He isn't smart and not interested in learning mainly sleeping during class. If you're quiet or shy, he'll do anything to get you talking or have a smile on your face. 

Bio: His parents were part of the White Fang when they suddenly disappeared without a trace leaving young Leo to fend for himself. A couple Faunus helped him but they all come and go. Soon Leo felt lonely and desperately wanted someone who would stay with him until one day an adult huntress took him in. Teaching him how to fight and signing up for an academy, Leo got into Beacon after several years hoping to make friends and find answers about the disappearance of his parents.

 The source of the rustling were a couple Beowolves as they came down from the trees surrounding Aaron. They snarled about to charge on their prey. ((

 

 

 

 As Alisa ran through the forest, she could slightly hear something heavy being dragged along the grass, no..as she listened closer the sound was coming from both sides. That's when a white and a matching black snake twice her size and as long as a couple story building, burst out from the brushes.It was King Taijitu.

  Being thrown into the sky and seeing the view below, Bella couldn't help but admire the beautiful scene. But as she started falling, she had to take action. Shifting into her Beast Mode (as people like to call it), her eyes almost as sharp as eagles searched for any sturdy tree that can stay standing after she lands. Spotting one not too far away, she aimed her body straight for it as she took out one of her katanas just as the tree was within her reach. Stabbing the katana into the tree, she spinned around the tree until she safely landed on the ground. With her Beast Mode still active, she can hear anyone close to her. 'Now all I have to do is avoid anyone coming near me and I'll be just fine.' Smiling to herself, she began searching for the most biggest Grimm she could find. 

 

 Leo never imagined him ever falling from the sky in his life, but here he is. 'Alright think back, what semblences do I have in store..' He pondered as the wind continued to rush pass his ears. That's when he suddenly remembered, he copied someone's semblence of wind! The day before he came to Beacon Academy, Leo decided to take a nice stroll when a burglar pushed by him and Leo watched as the burglar used his wind ability to escape the cops. Well, Leo helped the cops out  chasing the burglar but yea. Focusing on the wind, Leo awkwardly began making his way down though he never used a wind semblence. In the end he somehow landed though he crashed face-down. Springing back up to his feet, he walked through the forest searching for a partner. 

 

((You guys can start getting into your partners))

Aaron hadn't seen creatures like these before. They were an abomination, strange masked black monsters of the forest. There pointed tooth fangs and howling winds made them extremely intimidating. However, Aaron quickly regained his senses, and although the beasts were much larger than any human...

 

It made them that much easier to cut down.

 

"Ninja Arts: Sword of Calamity!"  Aaron cut down the beasts with a flurry of sword strikes in a fashionable speed. In less than 5 seconds, half of the pack of creatures fell to their demise!

Fuyu was up in the clouds, searching for any clue of what a Grimm would look like in the woods. As he landed  back down, he saw a woman with a katana running in the wood, and sniffing.  The growl came from behind him and it was a bear-like Grimm staring right at him into the eyes. Bella heard the noises as she whipped around just as the Grimm nearly slashed Fuyu in half coming completely out of the brush. Surprised none of her senses picked up the boy's presence, Bella looked at him in anger. "Wha-" She was interuppted when the Grimm let out a loud rawr getting ready to fight.

He pulled out his dual pistols, and shot a couple rounds to attract the bears attention, and closed the distance between the bear. The bear growled, and swiped its claws at him, forcing him to jump back. He fired two more rounds, leaning him with one more bullet in each gun before reload.  He fire once, not a lot of damage, as it grazes his head, and throws a backhand, knocking him flat on  the ground.

There were so many of the black monsters. Aaron felt like he cut half of the pack down, but wave after wave descended on him. Retreating seemed the best option at the moment, but he wasn't fond of that idea. Maybe this pack could lead him to the pieces. Rushing through them, Aaron decided he wasn't going to hesitate to find out.

Noises. A lot of them. So the Grimm had already arrived, and were no doubt attacking the others. Iris was honestly surprised. She hadn't expected the demons to react so quickly to their presence. She was well aware of the danger they brought, but still thought that they wouldn't be this ruthless. 

She sighed, unsheathing her sword and letting it click into a more ranged form. As she carefully treaded through the bushes, she kept it aimed and constantly swept around her. Nothing would sneak up on her.

 

Takuto whistled, "That is one big, ugly snake."

 

After hearing the crash and loud hiss of a Grimm, the boy quickly leapt up onto a branch to see just what was going on near him. A massive, black snake had come from nowhere, and was chasing after another student.

"Looks like I found my partner, I guess." He said, hopping down and readying his katana. It clicked into the bow form, and he easily made a motion, as if he was pulling back a string on the bow. As he did, a white magical string appeared, and soon along with it a thin white arrow appeared as well.

 

"Go!" he shouted, letting the arrow loose. It shot forward like a cannon, and slammed right into the snake's flank.

As Aaron cut through the forest, something told him to turn around. One by one, these black monsters fell, but some strangely seemed out of range. His chokuto was long, but to hit an enemy that far...

Bullets nearly grazed Aaron, and had he focused on the masked monsters more than deflecting the projectiles from the hidden threat, he would surely have been dead by now. Aaron grazed through the bushes, slashing the monsters in his way... Until he uncovered (and nearly slashed) a girl...

His fate to go alone was damned from the beginning. Surely, the headmaster knew this was going to happen. But Aaron's mind quickly drifted from that, as an unorthodox habit began again...


Her eyes were her pinpoint. Aaron hadn't seen much like them. A deep sea green filled with commanding leadership. Her eyes told a story all their own.

Alone... abandoned. Yet determined. Just like him. A sea of mysteries harboring a need for acceptance... In Aaron's heart, she was just like him... Wanting to spend the years atoning for a past he didn't create... Yearning for his family... Wanting to be better than in the past, even if he was reluctant to look ahead...

Aaron's examination of people's eyes had to wait a little longer. He had to crush the opposing force. "Let's go! We'll talk later!" he exclaimed, and with the slicing of the wind, and the boom of gunfire, the two charged into the pack.

Alisa had immediately backed up when the large snake appeared. She had drawn her bow and began to take aim when a voice came from nowhere. This startled her, and she let the arrow go prematurely. It landed shallowly in the flank of the snake. Great. She looked for the source of the voice, and spotted a boy. Now they were partners. Alright then. She bit her lip. At least he was a Faunus. That was good. The boy hit his mark, and proceeded to yell at her to start. Right. She was supposed to be doing stuff too. She nocked another arrow and aimed as she strafed. She let go, her arrow flying straight towards it's eye. Alisa drew another arrow, and fired again, more quickly this time, aiming for the other eye.

Syfe climbed through the treetops, going quickly. He glanced around, seeing several partners and Grimm. Some archers fighting off a King Taijitsu, two swordsman holding off a horde of Beowolves. Syfe glanced to the ground, spotting a red haired boy running all by his lonesome. Well here was his partner. Syfe jumped from a branch, flipping in midair and landing on his feet next to the boy (Leo). "Name's Syfe. Now let's get going!" Syfe said quickly, before breaking out in his run once again, this time on the ground though.

What was this? One of the other students had found her, and she nearly shot him. Even more confusing was his we'll talk later! She didn't plan on talking. Was this the nitwit she was going to be stuck with for the rest of her time at this school? Great. Hopefully Takuto the cat boy wouldn't be with them. At that point she'd throw herself off the highest point at Beacon.
"Great." She grumbled, "Just great."

 

Her rifle emitted a loud staccato as she swept over the invading monsters. Of course, she made sure to accidentally graze Aaron once or twice.

 

"Sweet!" Takuto exclaimed, readying yet another arrow and letting it loose. This snake's gonna be dead meat in no time!

He chuckled, aiming down a small notch in the 'bow' that represented his sights, and let loose a third blast. He was told Grimm were big, evil monsters that only experienced warriors could take down! This thing was easy!
 

"This damned...."

Aaron fought to keep a straight look while this girl continually shot bullets at him. He had a strong feeling that they weren't unintentional, but as her eyes told one story, her arrogance told another.

 

She and Aaron had arrived at a tumbling ruin where the "pieces", which turned out to be chess pieces, had been (as Aaron predicted the monsters would lead him). He studied each model, and decided to take the "king" piece. He had a reason for doing so... The others began approaching.

 

"I'm Aaron, and I assume you can give me some answers, now. Let's start with your name. What were those creatures back there? And, what's with your aim?"

 

He knew it'd be hard, but for the next four years, he had to bear with being a burden to someone else. For now. It seemed like even in times like this, as he wanted to fade into the shadows and live his life alone, he was thinking of others. But he didn't say that, nor did he acknowledge it.

Aaron decided to make a resolution: To strangle this girl by the end of four years.

 

He was practically pulling teeth to get her to talk! What's more, she didn't even tell him her name. He didn't want to be in this situation either. But, he did get a lot of information out of her. Grimm... Aura... Semblance... It all started making sense now.

 

Aaron turned to leave, the ruins and especially her, but whatever was up ahead seemed not to want to let him go.

 "Oh enough of this." Bella's eyes glowed dangerously red, as she unsheathed only one katana slicing through the bear's neck in one swift movement. With it's head completely gone, the bear collasped motionless. After making sure the Grimm was dead, she turned to the boy when the realization hit her. She saw him, which makes this boy her partner now..for 4 whole years. Bella's face slowly turned red filled with anger clutching her fists. There is no way she is going to have a partner. Turning her heels, Bella started walking away from the boy not even wanting to see his face. 'Don't follow me, don't follow me, don't follow me, don't follow me.' Was the thought running through her head hoping she could just ditch the boy and start all over.

 Startled by the boy who introduced himself as Syfe, Leo just stood there dazed for a few seconds when he realized that guy was his partner now. "Ah, wait!" He ran after Syfe somehow managing to catch up even though Leo is already out of breath. They stopped in front of a cave as Leo catched his breath trying to talk. "I'm..huff..Leo, next time...don't run so fast.." Seconds passed until Leo calmed down. Now back to his normal self, he stared into the cave only seeing darkness. "Hmm, you think the temple Ozpin mentioned is in here? It's pretty huge." Before Syfe could answer, there was a loud noise of thundering steps from inside the cave. Suddenly a giant scorpion grimm (Death Stalker) emerged suddenly from the cave, letting out a shriek. Just looking at it made Leo realize there was no way they could take that thing on by themselves. "Run!" 

He Ran behind her, giving her space. "Part...ner?" He said, keeping up with her pace. He wondered if she was guiding him somewhere. Was this was what partnership was?  He dashed after, jumping and dodging every tree and obstacle, trying to keep up. "Hey!" He said. "Name...Fuyu..." He said, jumping over her, trying to halt her to get a answer."

((Sorry, heh heh. I was just really, really excited about the direction that the story was going. I changed the post ))

Alisa smiled hesitantly, though it quickly disappeared. She dived to the side in a roll, coming up on one knee. She fired a barrage of three arrows. Firing one arrow at a time was generally her code of conduct, but she needed to deal damage faster, and hitting this things was like hitting the side of a barn to her. All three flew through the air towards the giant snake.

"Next time you lead the way!" Syfe called, emptying two clips of covering fire before turning and sprinting away. He quickly reloaded, occasionally shooting over his shoulder while continuing his stride. "Why can't I have found a butterfly Grimm or something?" Syfe muttered to himself. All things considered, a scorpion was a terrible kind of Grimm to run into. Then again, maybe a butterfly wouldn't have been so good. A giant black butterfly hoping to eat his flesh would probably ruin his images of butterflies forever.

Iris gave the man named Aaron a glare. Oh boy. A talker. Not just a talker, but one who seemed to enjoy endless questions. She sighed, lowering the barrel of her weapon slightly. Just slightly. And now he was leaving! She barely spoke a word and he was turning around.

"It is Iris. And I've been training for this. You're my partner, so stop walking away. And you should know what those creatures were. Grimms. Monstrous shadow beasts."

 

"Come on." Takuto whispered, steadying his aim as he held onto the bow for as long as he could. The longer he held the bow back, the more powerful his shots would become. Of course, the amount of stored energy made his arms shake like crazy, and therefore made aiming difficult.

"The thing's gigantic..." He hissed, trying to stop his arm. With a glint in his eye he suddenly let the arrow loose, and watched the giant blast of energy come at the snake. With his attacks and the attacks of his new partner, this thing was done for.

Aaron was through talking... but the girl finally told him her name! Caught a little off guard, Aaron turned around again..

"Iris...", he mumbled, although sligtly and unable for the girl to hear. He didn't want to be partnered with anyone, but Iris made him even moreso less open to the idea of teams. She'd never understand him, never realize the ambition he had. And he thought the two would be a world apart. For a minute, without a word, Aaron pulled out and stared at the King piece he selected earlier. Slipping it back into his pocket, Aaron stopped momentarily.

"Keep up, then!" Aaron said, slightly smirking this time...

((I'm extremely sorry for not responding for the last few days, my school gave me two projects to work on and piles of homework. I could only go on the forums just to check for posts. T-T))

 Despite showing numerous signs that Bella has no interest in this whole partner business, she halted when Fuyu stood in front of her. "Get. Out. Of. My. Way." She snarled reaching for her katanas. She noticed how the boy talked awakwardly like every syllable was a challenge to him. Does he not know how to speak english or is he nervous? Her thoughts were interuppted when a piercing caw eruppted throughout the Emerald Forest. Bella looked up just in time to see a giant Grimm in the form of a bird flying above the trees. Recogizing the bird to be Nevermore, Bella's lips creeped into a smile. There was her Grimm. If she defeats the Nevermore all alone, she wouldn't have to have a partner. Like a moth drawn to a flame, Bella started following the Nevermore on foot. It seems to be heading toward the temple...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seeing a giant Grimm scropion made Leo forget all about his tiredness, and ran away full speed with Syfe. He heard his partner mutter something about a butterfly but he decided not to question it due to the situation. After what seemed like forever, they reached the temple with the Death Stalker still hot on their heels. Seeing a couple chess pieces, Leo just grabbed a random piece and looked down to notice that he picked up a king. Running back into the forest, Leo and Syfe heard voices not too far away making their way to that direction. "Helppppp!!" Leo yelled, hoping the people could hear his voice. Then the next thing they knew, they crashed right into Iris and Aaron.

 The two snakes collasped, completely defeated until suddenly Takuto and Alisha heard the same loud caw Bella and Fuyu heard earlier. Looking up at the sky, they spotted the Nevermore heading toward the temple. 

Aggh!

Another idiot crashed into Aaron! Both of them forcefully slammed into the ground right by the temple. The boy scurried to his feet, then left out his hand to help Aaron up.

 

He was fine getting up on his own. But then his habit kicked in again: the boy's eyes intrigued him, as Iris' had.

A sharp caw snapped him out of his daze, and Aaron readied himself. Yet another Grimm was going to attack, and based off of its scorpion-like structure, Aaron assumed it was the Death Stalker that Iris mentioned earlier.

 

Jeez. What a fun welcoming party this turned out to be.
