Dear Upcoming Students,

 

It is with great enthusiam and joy that I write to you to you today, as there are only a few days before your journey to become a great huntsman or huntress begins. I hope you prepared yourself for the challenges and trials you'll be facing but do not fear, I am sure you will achieve success and accomplishment. Please don't forget there will be airships and boats to transport you to the academy. Be ready for anything, and I wish for your safe arrival.

You have been chosen to attend Beacon Academy because either you've been to a special school that train you for combat (like Signal Academy) or be invited to the school after showing exceptional skills (like Ruby). With high hopes in your heart, you enter the airship that'll take you to Beacon expecting a regular school year yet little did you know, two criminal masterminds using a group of Faunus called the White Fang is plotting something big, something huge.

Our first post will just be about getting off from the airship then there will a time skip to the second day at Beacon when you are on the cliffs ready to be launched off to the Emerald Forest.

Name: Bella Morris (But mainly called Beast, based off from the Beauty and the Beast)

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: 

Weapons: Two Dust-Powered Katana (Has the following Dusts: Red-Fire, Blue-Ice, Yellow-Electricity, Purple-Increased Attack speed) 

Semblance: Animal Senses- Bella's eyes turn red and she grows canine teeth when her 5 senses (touch, smell, hear, taste, and sight) increases dramatically. This form also increases her speed (not as fast as someone with the  semblance of speed) and more physical strength (Ex. She can jump high or carry things she couldn't before).

Symbol and the location: 

It's completely red and it's located on the back of her shirt.

Are you a Faunus? No, many people mistaken her for one though.

Personality: Bella take things very seriously barely even laughing to any jokes or cracking a smile. However she's highly OCD causing her to fuss over many things dropping her scary personality. In unfamilar situations Bella can easily jump to conclusions finding violence as the solution for everything. 

Bio: Unsurprisely, her whole family is strict. Ever since she was born, Bella was groomed to become a huntress. Outshining her siblings, Bella was one of the students who were in the top 5 in her academy. Soon enough, people started calling her Beast because of her semblance. Easily getting into Beacon, Bella was determined to be the most strongest huntress alive.

Semblance: Copy Cat - Seeing someone's semblence allows Leo to momentarily use their ability himself. He can store up to 3 copied semblances but can use each one only once unless he sees it again.

Are you a Faunus? Yes, he has a black cat-like tail. 

Personality: Leo is outgoing but he can be a goofball. He isn't smart and not interested in learning mainly sleeping during class. If you're quiet or shy, he'll do anything to get you talking or have a smile on your face. 

Bio: His parents were part of the White Fang when they suddenly disappeared without a trace leaving young Leo to fend for himself. A couple Faunus helped him but they all come and go. Soon Leo felt lonely and desperately wanted someone who would stay with him until one day an adult huntress took him in. Teaching him how to fight and signing up for an academy, Leo got into Beacon after several years hoping to make friends and find answers about the disappearance of his parents.

Alisa took a deep breath. Easy enough. She got a good look at her partner. He seemed alright, and as a Faunus, she instantly felt better around him. Alisa looked up to see the Nevermore. She bit her lip. That wouldn't work out so well for them. She had heard they were really strong. Alisa opened her wings, and took flight. She hovered over her partner. "My name is Alisa. Can you follow?" She asked, pointing towards the giant raven.

Syfe tripped over Iris, but quickly got to his feet. "Oh, uh sorry." Syfe quickly apologized, offering his hand to the girl. She, ah, didn't seem to be the happiest camper. At least he already had a partner. He sensed that this girl might have been more difficult to work with than Leo was.

(Someone isn't following the topic… do they know when we're posting…?)

 

This Scorpion was tougher than it looked (which said a lot)—multiple times it charged at the team, viciously tearing apart the surrounding wildlife. After rebounding from the surprise meeting of the two pairs, everyone gathered up their will to fight. The others had attacked masterfully, with blazing bullets and powerful strikes. Aaron seemed to be at a disadvantage: mixed martial arts on a ton of skeletal menace would probably barely dent the thing. Nonetheless, he trained for this most of his life: he leaped gallantly onto the Death Stalker, slashing the monster and delivering a flurry of disastrous punches. It almost seemed as if it worked: however, the Death Stalker shrugged the pain away, giving another vicious scowl, and charged at the team again.

 

Little did Aaron know he'd need a little help from his Semblance again. But, it seemed his Aura hadn't been unlocked completely yet… and, quite possibly, the Semblance would cause more trouble than what it was worth.

((Alright, I guess I'll continue the plot. Don't forget you guys (including me), are free to control the Boss Grimm you are fighting but I will be the one to announce if they're defeated or not.)) 

 

 

 "A Nevermore! I have to defeat it!" Bella turned to Fuyu with a threatening glare. "If you get in my way, you'll regret it." Arriving at the temple, the Nevermore seemed to have disappeared, most likely flown all the way up into the clouds. "I missed it." She scoffed. Noticing the chess pieces, it reminded Bella when she was young playing against her siblings in chess. Despite being the youngest, she still managed to beat them. 'I wonder what they're doing now...since they failed to come here.' Without thinking, Bella picked up the queen piece. It was her favorite piece to use in chess as she freely killed many other pieces with the queen until she had no choice but to sacrifice it. Putting the chess piece in her pocket, she faced Fuyu. 'Now how am I going to deal with him?' 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Alisa was following the Nevermore with her wings as Takuto went on foot. It was above the clouds, but luckly Alisa could barely make out where it is. Suddenly as if the Nevermore sensed somebody nearby, it let out another extremely loud caw as it started nose diving right into the temple! The caw pierced Bella's ears as she covered them with her hands looking up at the sky. It was the Nevermore diving straight toward Fuyu and herself. Not caring once about her partner, Bella quickly leaped out of the way just as the Nevermore landed on the ground. Taking out both her katanas, she switched into her Beast mode-licking her lips like a lion about to feast on it's prey. The battle has begun. 

 

 

 

 

 Some of their attacks were hurting the Death Stalker but they were forced to back up into a bridge leading to a ruin tower. Leo made the mistake of looking over the edge, nearly getting a heart attack as he noticed how far up they are. Falling from the bridge is certain death. However deep inside he had a feeling the bridge was the only place he could defeat the Death Stalker.

Iris stood up, without much of a word or glance to the person who had offered their hand. She didn't need the help. She was fine, and she glanced at their new enemy. She sighed, and lifted her sword. These dumb Grimm, couldn't they just leave them alone? Surely by know they knew to fear this powerful teens.

Iris wondered if Grimm could even think, considering they just seemed to have only a few basic functions. It did seem though, that the larger Grimm monsters were slightly more clever...but still easy to trick and fool.

 

Takuto smiled, and nodded, "And I'm Takuto. Let's go!"

His grin shined at Alisa, as his eyes followed the giant raven. He recalled a poem his mother once read to him, about a raven who muttered the word Nevermore, and a man who was slowly driven mad. It was a sorrowful tale, and Takuto felt this particular Grimm wasn't going to be as easy as the one they just vanquished. His eyes turned to study Alisa, and widened when he saw her...flying?

"Woah...!" 

(I feel ya silver)

Fuyu looked at the woman, and looked at where the bird might have been. "...Where?" He said, looking around, and sat on the branch, looking at the woman. She looked ready to attack him...But she wouldn't, right? They were partners, and no one would change that.... He stepped down from the tree, and walked closer to her, outstretching his hand. He was told Partners do that...Right?

"Damn. What do we do now?"

 

Aaron needed to think. The scorpion was not only a gigantic brute and menace, but it was extremely swift. The Death Stalker charged, knocking Aaron about 6 yards back. He staggered and slowly rose from the ground.

 

A glowing blue weapon resembling a sword appeared in his right hand, sharpening and thinning by the second. A sharp pain inflicted Aaron's head, as he gripped his head and bellowed in agony, almost losing control of the weapon. The side effects were already showing itself, but recovered soon enough.

 

Aaron charged at full force at the Death Stalker, slashing it with the Chokuto and Sword he held in each hand aggresively. However, it never seemed to harm the scorpion. Sucking his teeth in frustration, he threw the blue emission at the Grimm, and it burst into sparks, causing Aaron a breif yet quaking headache but staggering it. After recovering, he observed something important...

 

Then, Aaron had an idea.

 

"Iris! You two! Help me out!" Aaron shouted. Hopefully, he was right.

 

A sharp blow to the stomach shut him up quickly enough.

(Well, now I feel like a jerk.)

 

Alisa glided to the ground, and retracted her wings. She drew her bow and nocked an arrow, continuing to back away from the Nevermore. She hadn't truly grasped... how big this thing was. Realizing she was right next to the relics, she grabbed one without thinking. A Queen. Good, now the mission was accomplished. They just needed to finish this thing off. Alisa shot off a few test arrows, trying to goad it into revealing a weakness.

Syfe rained down bullets upon the Deathstalker, but they weren't doing much. The thing was like a heavily armored car, small arms wouldn't do anything. After the other boy got smacked by the scorpion, Syfe dashed in, holding his twin swords. He sliced at the eyes. The Deathstalker swung it's tail straight down at him. Perfect. Syfe stepped backwards, allowing the stinger to hit where he had been standing just a moment before. He grabbed onto it himself, and rid it back up to the tail's normal position. From this position, Syfe was much closer, making accurate shots a bit easier. As he took a few potshots, Syfe glanced back up to Aaron. "Maybe you should share your plan before you take another hit like that!" He called.

 Ignoring Fuyu's outstretched hand, Bella charged at the Nevermore with high speed slashing the Grimm at various spots. Suddenly, she heard an arrow flying pass her hitting the Nevermore on the back. Turning, she spotted a girl with a bow and arrow who was shooting the Grimm. Bella cursed underneath her breath. 'Another person?! How is she suppose to prove that she doesn't need a partner if other people start fighting too?' "Hey you!" She pointed at the girl with the bow. "Don't even bother attacking it, I can easily finish this thing off!" Using the dust from her katanas, the blades glowed yellow as electricity sparked. She tried to stab the Nevermore but the fur seemed too thick and the electricity didn't effect it at all. The giant bird crowed as it beated it's wings releasing a huge amount of wind knocking Alisha, Fuyu, and Bella back. 

 

 As the fight continued, the bridge continued to shake; it was not meant to hold 4 people and a giant scorpion. Hearing Aaron shout something about a plan before he was knocked back, and watching his partner go in like a manic hanging on to it's tail, Leo knew he had to do something. Then with a yell, he charged. Of course he didn't have a plan as he charged but seeing the claw coming to snap him in half, Leo jumped over the claw and aimed his spear right for it's eyes. Stabbing the scropion's eyes with all his strength, the Death Stalker was completely blind as it began to shake even harder making the bridge even tremble even more. Hanging on to his spear for his dear life, Leo waited for Aaron to commence his plan.

Aaron hated working together. But right now, it had to be done. Wiping the blood off his chin, and realizing just how much his Semblance wore him out, Aaron spoke between breaths, dodging the Death Stalker, but not attacking.

 

"You can say I'm being kind of desperate here.... but I need... you all to gather your powers... and-"

 

Misstepping, Aaron just barely missed the Grimm's stinger, knocking him to the ground. He slowly picked himself up again, and with his gulping breaths, he spoke again.

 

"We're all going to destroy it... in one desperate attack!"

 

Aaron might have seemed crazy to the others, but he didn't care about that now. He waited for the others' partial attention, then began...

Fuyu was dumbfounded from the regection he was given from Bella, looking at her running away to attack the monster. Does she not want to be partners... He knew the electricity would not affect a thick hide, but it was too late, as they were flung back. He saw that Bella would hit a tree dead on if she was not saved. Using the wind as acceleration, he jumped, trying to catch or at least chusion her impact. If he did chusion the blow,he would be knocked out. But it didn't matter. He was her partner... Who didn't need her...but still!

Aaron yelled out the plan.

"Hey, sharpshooter guy, (Syfe) you... er, well, hang on and keep shooting. Aim for the head to keep it grounded. Redhead cat (Leo), good job with blinding the Grimm. I'll need you to drop down, it'll only rampage in the woods and take you out that way. Target its legs next: I'm aiming to slow it down. Iris, you seem to have the most awful shooting skills"-smirking as he said so-"So you can take its side legs. I'll take its rear. Also, I'll need the person with the best offensive Semblance or someone able to copy mine to come by me after we slow it down." he stopped, but then added "Try hard to look for a weak point. We'll hit it hard there."

Aaron knew the life of assassination, which was probably why he could analyze the Death Stalker so well. But together as a team... He knew he'd taken some hard hits. Maybd just disassembling that sword back there would've kept him healthy... But then the Stalker's weakness wouldn't have been as blatant.

Shaking his head, Aaron focused on the battle. He took his position, unsheathed his Chokuto, and rushed forward to the Death Stalker's rear, slicing at the feet.

 

 

The Phoenix stands regal.

Syfe nodded, still kind of clinging for dear life. Understood. If there was one thing he was good at, it was orders. He kept shooting, but it was becoming more and more obvious that they weren't doing anything. Syfe gritted his teeth. He hated to deviate from a good improvised plan, but his bullets were practically bouncing off the carapace of the Deathstalker. "Alright, I'm going to try something new!" Syfe yelled to the others. He leaped straight up, morphing his pistols into swords then combining them into his dualblade. He spun it, charging a lot of electricity through the weapon. He came down hard slashing with the his own might along with gravity on his side. His weapon cut through the tail, sending the stinger flying away. However when Syfe landed on the actual armor of the beast, it swung it's claws at him enraged, knocking him away. However, the offensive capabilities of the Grimm had been lowered immensely.

Alisa fell backward, pushed by the gust. Alisa gritted her teeth as she stood and raised her bow once again. That other girl thought she could take down a beast like this by herself? She hadn't shown that supposed skill so well though. Alisa figured some more supporting arrows couldn't hurt, and she shot off several more.

 As Bella was pushed back, she felt someone caught her and turned to see it was her partner. They barely missed the tree behind them and landed on the ground with only a couple bruises. Just as they landed, Bella quickly got back up on her feet facing Fuyu. "You little-" Usually if anyone touches her, they would receive a beating from her katanas but the Nevermore suddenly rose up into the sky. Just as the three were wondering what was about to happen, the Grimm started releasing a hail of feathers that are so sharp they stuck to the ground. Bella dove behind a tree using it as a shield from the feathers, trying to think about what to do. 'If this goes on forever I'll never be able to kill it. And I don't have any range attacks for this thing.' She peeked out a little from the tree. 'I need to somehow get on that thing or get something to bring it down!'

 

 Leo raised an eyebrow. "Redheaded cat?" He never imagined someone would call him by that name. Following the guy's orders, Leo dropped down stabbing the side legs when he heard Syfe slicing right through the tail like a beast as he cut off Death Stalker's tail. The tail fell off the side of the bridge enraging the scorpion as it knocked his partner away. "Syfe!" Leo yelled out in concern for his partner. "Also I'll need the person with the best offensive Semblance or someone able to copy mine to come by me after we slow it down." The guy giving out the orders shouted. Immediately Leo went over to the boy, "I can copy your semblance but..what are you gonna do?" 

Fuyu looked at her. She was angry at him for saving her life? He got up slowly, and fired off a couple of rounds at the bird. before the hail of feathers descended on him. Looking at her, he new she needed to get up to the bird. He picked her up, and started running,  using his gift for speed. " Help..." He said, and loaded a green bullet, and shot himself with it, making himself go faster.  he then turned around in he forest, and ran up, and jumped off the highest tree, tossing her in a cannonball-like throw to get on the bird, or at least stab it.

Aaron smirked for a second. Although he knew what he would do, he also knew the toll it would take on his body. Also, if what he'd do would affect the person who'd copy him...

 

The team did an amazing job slowing down the scorpion. Maybe their final attack might actually work.

"Hey, you," he called out to Leo while stepping away from the Death Stalker "If you can handle it, I've got one particular attack that will blow this thing away. Iris! You and the boy have to stand back!" shifting his focus to Leo again, he continued "I don't know what it might do to you, but this'll probably make me pass out. What we're doing is compressing everything around that thing and releasing it into an explosion."

 

"I don't know how your Semblance works, but to channel my energy for something that big-" Aaron showed Leo an array of hand signs in slow motion as he spoke "-I do this."

 

"It's kind of last minute, but this academy is filled with elites, right? So... do you understand?"

 

The Phoenix is ablaze.

Takuto:

"Jeez..." Takuto grumbled a bit, his ears flicking in the annoyance he was getting from this stupid bird. Why, of all times, did the giant Grimm have to come during their very first test!? It was almost like that Ozpin guy had planned this sort of thing. To test their teamwork skills or something. The guy certainly looked clever, but he couldn't have planned so far ahead, could he...? If he had, how far did his plans go...?

"Gaah!" Takuto yelped, nearly taking a swipe from the bird's wing.

 

Iris:

Iris sighed and aimed the barrel of her weapon at the Death Stalker. The rest of the team was doing well enough in taking the damn thing down, but she intended to ensure the thing stayed dead. As she her gun let loose a staccato of bullets, she briefly wondered if Grimm even lived in the first place.

She glanced to her left. They were discussing their Semblances. Iris didn't particularly like hers. Too destructive, she had decided.
