We.... are mutants.
Locked away in prisons from the moment we're born... to the moment we die.
A cruel and unusual punishment... for a crime we never commited.
We don't know our families... no, we were ripped away from them before we could even open our eyes.
But still; our padded, locked cells are the only life we know... where we use our powers... and ridiculed even more for it.
What makes a mutant?
Well... see...
As the family tree descends... the bloodline slowly starts to degrade... and the very DNA that makes up our bodies deteriorate... it becomes infected, or it turns in and on itself.
The final result? A really screwy human... we end up with access to strange powers... each specific to each human. How this happens? we really don't know... no one does.
All we know... is that this life of torment needs to end.

Power: Climate and Weather Control. Can manipulate the weather and make it rain, snow, hail, ect. Body temparature is usually cold, Dahlia being an 'eskimo' type of person, so it's hard to get near her without the risk of frost bite.

Gender: Female

Personality: Cold. Usually keeps to herself, but really wants to make friends but it's hard for her too get close to someone. Is actually very childlike and innocent in a way, and is terrified of the outside world but longs to be free anyway.

Power: Spontaneous Combustion, an ability that allows Kale to explode any object that she has previously object that she has previously touched.

Personality: she is a strange and antisocial girl that doesn't know how to deal with other people, she doesn't speak very much and is always afraid of something, but if something threatens her she will try to defend herself. Usually Kaleb wears gloves to avoid using her power.

Age: 13

Power: Light Bending (Illusions such as mirages and the ability to blind someone.)

Gender: Female

Personality: A shut in. Hesitant. She pushes people away because not only does she fear herself, but she fears other people and her surroundings. A curious person. Being told about these things all around her just makes her hunger for the ability to see. Likes humor. She was never really a no-nonsense person. She does act like a smaller child for she has not learned how to actually act, for its not like she has anyone to imitate.

Appearance: Her whole body is covered in all kinds of dirt and dust. Thus, her hair color looks dirty-blonde. Here eye color is unknown as she has an eye guard to stop her from seeing and using her powers to try and escape. Very underweight. (She fears eating the food and only eats it when she absolutely needs to)

Other: The reason why she chose the name 'Candle' was because of what it is used for. To guide a fire. To tame this fire. To help it hold this light. It seemed like such a name to her. She believes that there is some of this light in her, however, she has seen none of it.

Weakness- Not being able to see. Lack of light within sight. Might trap others inside illusion or make them blind.

Power: Psionic blast; Ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind.

Personality:Loud and attentive person, who hates to be left alone with herself. She makes friends easily and isn't afraid to say what she's thinking.Lonely and insecure when caught up in her thoughts, but tough and never shows weakness to anyone.

Age: 15.

Power: Hearing thoughts- but he can't filter them out.

Gender: Male. (No, wait... I 'unno, he's totally actually Lady Gaga in disguise. /shot)

Personality: He's going through a bit of a personality/identity crisis- hearing voices 24/7 has driven him over the brink, and he can't remember who he really is. Tends to be obnoxious and often outright rude- if he hears something in someone's thoughts, he calls them out on it. Mentally very unstable- he tends to just snap after the slightest of changes, whether it be into blind anger or exstatic, insane happiness, or something else entirely. Is always the pessimist, sceptical, and gets a strange kick out of voicing other people's thoughts to get them in trouble.

Appearance: Very pale, which isn't surprising considering he hasn't seen the light of day in nearly eight years. Unsettling, too-green eyes- they seem way too bright to be natural, but he was born with them. Tangled, messy light blond hair that falls in tendrils all over his face. Tall, and rail thin. Somehow always manages to look like he's been dragged through a bush backwards.

Power: Limited time control (can pause, slow down time for limited periods, etc.)

Gender: Male

Personality: He's a nice person who tries to be friends with people, but no one ever seems to even acknowledge his presence. Because of this, he's rather quiet, but he still cares about the people around him, and hates using his powers to bring harm to someone. Even though his intentions are noble, he has a tendency to be easily fooled, and he poses little threat in combat. However, should something truly terrible happen, his power to manipulate time is invaluable to him. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for with intelligence.

Apprearance: Brown hair and bright blue eyes. He wears blue jeans, and a white t-shirt in a brown zip-up sweater. Not too skinny, but not too fat. Relatively weak in terms of muscle strength.

Power: He has the ability to use pre-existant fire to his advantage... allowing to feed it... or to fade it into ash.

The weakness it being... he has to have fire around, or his power is useless.

Gender: Male

Personality: Stubborn. Hard to get through to... and nearly impossible to get along with. Of all the ten he is the most antisocial, an outcast... but, he dreams of larger goals. For one... escaping this godforsaken prison.

Appearance: Messy long, red hair.. his eyes are red, and he is quite tall. Wears a pair of plain cargo shorts with a simple red t-shirt. Wears a pair of white sneakers that he never takes off for some reason.

Power: His power level changes with his emotions. He has control over gravity. He can change the gravitational level of where ever he is to what he wants it to be. He can also condense gravity into an orb and use it as a blast. The strength of the blast varies by his current emotion.

Gender: Male

Personality: His mind has been tampered with by several people in jail. He is a very emotional person, reacting sometimes violently to little things. He has not felt love, so he does not emit it. He doesn't really talk. He does not like friendships or any other type of relationships, he feels that being alone is the best thing for him. He thinks about the family he has, but never met, and it makes him depressed. He has pictures in his cell of his dream home.

 

Appearance: He has spiky blonde hair, that is medium in length. His eyes are a stormy gray, but depending on his mood, they can vary from red to purple. He wears a black t-shirt, black shorts, and red shoes. Not too muscular, but has moderate strength. He has a bored look on his face almost 90% of the day, when his emotions are under control.

Personality: Jalo doesn't tend to speak much, but she doesn't intend on being rude. She becomes quite devoted to many tasks, and she prefers to be focused on very few tasks at a time.

Appearance: She has medium black hair that points ouward, with a single braid on each side of her head. Her skin is slightly tan, and she has a beige eye-color. She's approximately 5'2".

Power: Pusher -Pushers have the ability to implant memories, thoughts and emotions into the minds of other people in order to manipulate them. A Pusher is able to make a person do anything the Pusher desires, even commit suicide. A Pusher's eyes indicate how powerful they are: their pupils will dilate to certain degrees depending on how powerful the push is.

Gender: Male

Personality: Noah is a loyal selfless friend at heart. But his ability has changed him. He keeps people at arms length fearing they'll hurt him. He trys to never show his true personality.

Appearance: He has long light brown hair. He usually ties it up to a pony tail. Has light intermediate skin. About 5'8

Name: Aaron

Age: 15

Power: Aaron possesses the rare ability to wield the Shadows. The shadows of objects... humans... no matter, he can wield them... and uses said shadow to control the being its attached to. The Guards and Officials all call him "The Puppeteer". Because of his abilities... he's considered the most dangerous, and more precautions are taken with him.

The cell he is in and the room surrounding it have lights everywhere... every corner, every nook and cranny... to prevent shadows from appearing. And the Guards who watch over him and bring him food and drink all have to wear reflective suits, so the light just bounces off them instead of casting a shadow.

Bio: Aaron was born with his powers... and it showed, from the moment he appeared from the womb, hell broke loose as he caused all the shadows in the hospital to go nuts... destroying everything... needless to say, he's the one that put in to everyones mind that mutants were dangerous. He was imprisoned... and raised up from childhood to where he is now. Since all Mutants are still given education... he understands the true nature of what he controls... and has been secretly concocting a way to use them, to bust out. He doesn't seek revenge... no, he doesn't seek anything of the sort.

He seeks freedom.

Appearance: Aaron has long black hair cut to his neck, with some of it draping down in front of his face... his eyes are a slate gray color... its rumored though that he actually has bright blue eyes, but the dark shadows inside him corrupt the color. He wears a pair of black cargo pants that hang slightly to one side, and drag beneath his shoes, and an old black t-shirt with the sleeves torn off. He has a single black and white checkered wrist band on his left wrist, to symbolize the peril between light and dark raging within him. His sneakers are black with white soles and laces.

Personality: Contrary to the other nine... Aaron has never met any of his cell mates, for he is locked away in his own ward. Hell, he wouldn't even know they existed had it not been for him overhearing thr guards at one point. He speaks rarely... so rarely in fact that the guards think hes mute. In his solitude, he reads all the books the guards have given to him, thrice, and memorized every word of the poetry contained inside. He is intelligent to the max... learning everything he can regardless of his limits. And it does him well...

In the end, no one knows what his true personality is... for he never reveals the slightest bit of emotion.

I know that the RP will probably begin today so I just wanted to tell something, I stayed too much yesterday here and my mother won't let me use the computer, so if I can't get through with my cellphone I won't be able to begin the RP toghether with everyone. So, see everyone tomorrow.
