Introduction:

We.... are mutants.

Locked away in prisons from the moment we're born... to the moment we die.

A cruel and unusual punishment... for a crime we never commited.

We don't know our families... no, we were ripped away from them before we could even open our eyes.

But still; our padded, locked cells are the only life we know... where we use our powers... and ridiculed even more for it.

What makes a mutant?

Well... see...

As the family tree descends... the bloodline slowly starts to degrade... and the very DNA that makes up our bodies deteriorate... it becomes infected, or it turns in and on itself.

The final result? A really screwy human... we end up with access to strange powers... each specific to each human. How this happens? we really don't know... no one does.

All we know... is that this life of torment needs to end.

NOW.

Aaron swung his fist around and hit the wardens neck, right on a nerve ending...

He took a moment to catch his breath, cause getting socked in the face tends to knock it out of you.

He saw the other girl struggling, and he promptly took control of each of them, making them slam eachs others head... punch themselves... you get the picture.

All the guards were now knocked flat...

"That was so easy... its laughable."

He saw Dahlia freeze the man...

"o.o... whoa." was all he could say,.

Takun nods, "Indeed". This guy isn't too bad. He reminds me of myself. A possible ally to get out of this hell hole. Takun looks at the frozen guards, and then at Patrick. "I think we should try to find others like us, maybe we can do this together." Takun uses his power to extract the bullet from his knee so he could walk better. "Those guards won't stay like that forever, come on." He jumps down the hole he had made earlier.

(If I'm mistaken and Candle is running into someone else, ignore my idiocy- it's half three in the morning and I'm scatterbrained even before I don't sleep.)

To Zero's annoyance, it was still difficult to move- and, because he was putting his all into dragging himself along, he wasn't in any way prepared for when the girl smacked into him, and with what sounded a little like an exasperated sigh, he didn't try to catch himself as he lost his balance. Landing heavily on his backside, he stared, quite shocked, down at the girl who he'd collided with. Realising quickly that she couldn't see him, he struggled to move his legs enough to move away and stand up properly- they were still half-numb, so it was no surprise he was finding it hard to do anything particularly strenuous with them.

"Who am I?" he echoed when she asked, wincing as a spike of pins and needles shot up his leg when he tried to lean on it. "As if it matters-"

Zero broke off, pinching the bridge of his nose with a grimace. "Could you think a little quieter, maybe?!" he demanded.

"I DID IT!" Dahlia childishly exclaimed, practically jumping up and down excitedly.

The young girl couldn't believe that she, Dahlia, the runt, the weakling, had actually something useful. Well useful to herself and possibly the others who were escaping.

And if she could do this...

She stopped jumping, feeling embarassed and stupid.

She ducked her head.

This was no time to act like a fool. She had to be focused if she wanted to get out.

(( Not much to do, being one of the very few that's not breaking out. :'D ))

Jalo continued to stare at the newspaper. Come to think of it, she hasn't exactly learned how to read. Huh, sounds sad, considering that all she has done most of her life is nothing.

Finding the newspaper to be pointless, she returned to the wall to try and hear what was going on in the outside world. All she could figure out was that the panic and excitement had lessened a little, and it was seemingly quiet again.

Thinking of it as a disappointment, though she didn't exactly have much enthusiasm for it, she returned to settling in the silence as she sat on her bed.

(Its Ok, it works jusst as well 8D)

"Think a little...?" The girl asked in bewilderment. It was too bad that she couldn't actually see the boy and know if he was good or bad. She didn't really understand what he was trying to say either. Thinking a little quieter? Attempting to clear her mind, she tried to untangle herself. To her dismay she simply made it worse for her by getting herself not only stuck but wedged up against the wall to the point where it had caused her intense pain. "That's nice candle... just nice..." She told herself, hints of sarcasm and annoyance in her voice.

When Takun lands on the ground, he sees a girl and a guy fighting guards. It's very cold in here. I thought they didn't have air condition here. More guards come from behind him, and he turns around to the guards, smiling. His gray eyes change to purple. A guard steps forward and points his gun at Takun. "Put your hands up!". Takun does as he is told, but when he does put his hands up, the guard flies through the roof. The other guards retaliate and fire their guns, but the bullets just fall onto the ground after they are fired. Takun makes the bullets lift up from the ground, and then he lines them up horizontally. "Bye bye." He waves his hands, and all of the bullets penetrate the guards skulls.

"Alright... if you're done messing around, we'll go save the others now..." Aaron said, a small snicker in his voice as he turned his back and started to walk... stepping on and over the guards...

he saw the warden, and promptly booted him in the face.

"Thats for messing up my hair!"

Zero gave up on trying to get free, trying to ignore the pain running up and down his legs and arms in the hopes it would go away soon. He just sat where he'd fallen, trying to concentrate enough to listen and see if the girl's thoughts would answer the question he wanted to ask. Okay, so he'd snapped a little- but he hadn't really been that near to anyone unprepared before, and the closer he was, the louder the thoughts. Hers had caught him off guard, louder than he expected them to be.

After a few seconds, he assumed it was better to ask rather than wait for the answer to drift into her thoughts. If it did, which was doubtful.

"What's with the blindfold?"

Dahlia lowered her head even more, still extremely embarassed. She couldn't help it. She was a still a kid in her mind. She tended to get excited for simple things. Like the day they decided to serve them actual food instead of garbage. She had been so happy and scarfed it all down.

She couldn't help to be happy over this accomplishment. She was able to take a guard down by herself. She never thought she could do something like that. Hell, she thought she would've been back in her cell again, while everyone else escaped.

She realized the other boy had started to walk.

"H-Hey! Wait for me!" she exclaimed, running.

To her surprise, Jalo became very agitated. Something major was going on, and she was all alone, as always. She had to try to figure out what was going on, visually. However, she knew that no matter how many times that she tried, she couldn't get in contact with any source of technology. They were all past the ten-meter limit.

Then again, she hasn't checked the walls that faced opposite of the iron bars.

Approaching the wall, she tried her hardest to concentrate. She had to try to get in contact with any sort of electronic device. Even though the walls were thick, and she had no clue what laid beyond the walls, she still had to try.

Miraculously, she got contact with what appeared to be a security camera. It was faint, but it was still something. She saw a hallway. In it were two people, as well many bodies of security guards on the ground. If her vision was right, it included the head.

Retreating from the vision, Jalo sat on the bed. "That much happened...?" she murmured.

Aaron laughed as she caught up...

"I still havn't gotten your name." He said, making conversation.

He looked at her... his eyes looked down... then back up at her eyes. She was beautiful...

He wanted to compliment her on it, but was to embarassed to manage it.

All he could do was smile, while he waited for an answer.

"It's Dahlia. Yours?" she asked. The boy was older than her. Maybe a year or two. Though everyone looked older than her.

She continued to walk, practically skipping, smiling.

She didn't know why she was so carefree now. Shouldn't she be worried that other guards may appear?

She shook her head.

She could take them on. She did it once, she could do it again.

But for now, she will enjoy the short moment of peace.

(I missed so much yesterday, I guess I'm going to try to make things faster)

The door opened slowly making that usual noise that everyday anounced lunch for Kaleb, the male guard went in and looked at the girl, scared at her corner with her two hands tyed, she was surprised that in so many years the guard that took care of her cell was actually replaced. Slowly the guy approached her holding her plate of food. How can this poor thing eat with her hands tyed? the guy approached her like the other guards never did and untyed her ahnds letting her hold her food, for the first time of her life Kaleb smiled, but it wasn't because the guard was being better for her, it was because she saw her first chance to escape. While the guard turned around waiting impatient forher to finish she took of one of her gloves and pressed her hand on the plate, fastly putting it on again. The guard didn't make only one mistake, before going out he tyed Kaleb's hands infront of her instead of on her back, a mistake that could mean his life.

When the man opened the door Kaleb's eyes glowed while the explosion happened, the guard's arm was intirely burned, there wasn't so much he could do while the girl ran out of her cell with a feeling of hapiness.

((Darn I missed so much cus of that stupid work sowwies >.>))

Ugh my head...what's that noise? Tara woke to the sound of alarms screeching, and and orders being shouted. How long was I out...I need to find out what's going on. Tara lifted herself off the floor, and began to stumble towards the door. She began to bang with all her strength upon the cold sleek metal. "OPEN UP!! OPEN THIS DOOR!!" She yelled, "NOW!! BEFORE I-" Her arms fell, as she was greeted by two irritated guards. Scratch that two rather p-ed off guards.

"Crap... " Tara whispered to herself. "Well, well look what we have here." The first guard sneered. While his partner pulled her out the doorway and threw her against the hallway wall. "Isn't this the little twerp, who decided to head-butt me last week?" the second guard declared. " I think it is Jim, I think it IS!!" he said as he thrusted his foot, onto her torso. Tara yelped in pain "Once I get up, I'm killing you both..." She proclaimed through clenched teeth. "HAHAHA!!! Sure you will kid, if you make it through tonight." Crap...last week was the wrong week too be a jerk...

Takun looks watchfully at the two prisoners that fought off that guards. They like each other. I can tell just by looking at the way they are staring at one another. A sign of strength in their hearts, but also a weakness. He squats down and sits in the indian-style position, legs crossed. He closes his eyes and his face shows great focus. The guards seem to be coming from one area. Right by the prison entrance, but it's impossible for them to all come from that same area. There must be an underground area that they all are coming from. Takun tries to remember if he saw a type of basement door anywhere that he has been. Damn, we can't escape unless we find where they are coming from and somehow stop them from getting out. He gets up and starts to head to the elevator he destroyed some hours ago.

Tristan woke up, in his cold cell. He got up, and just stood there, staring at the wall blankly. "Urgh.." He groaned. He sat back down on the bed.. he was bored. Out of his mind. Well, that was obvious, since he's been sitting in a cell his whole life.

He held up his hand.. and snapped. There was a tiny flame at his fingertips. He snapped again, making it disappear. He snapped his fingers over and over, the flame appearing and disappearing. It was the closest thing to entertainment he could get.

He heard a lot of noise suddenly. He went to the bars and looked out.. but he saw nothing but a few guards running down the hall in panic. "Huh." He sat back down. "An escape?" He smiled deviously. He waited for a guard to check on him.. "Maybe I should try this."

Takun continues to walk towards the elevator, passing several cells as he does so. He looks and sees a boy staring at the wall of his cell, making flames appear and then disappear. Another mutant. He thinks about breaking the boys cage, but he continues on. I just need to help myself before I help anybody else. He sees the elevator shaft straight ahead of him, the doors broken, and the actual elevator not present. He uses his powers to bust open the doors, and then jumps down the shaft.

The warden became agitated. Of all days, a major breakout had to occur on her shift. Now, she had to go check on Valinta, to make sure that she hasn't escaped as well. If she hadn't, she has to make sure that she stays there.

Within five minutes, the warden had reached her cell. She saw that Valinta was still sitting on the bed.

She believes I have no idea, Jalo thought. "What is it?" she asked, sounding so oblivious.

"Uh... Nothing," the warden answered, trying not to get the mutant stirred up as the others. "I'm just checking up on you."

"Oh," Jalo said as she looked back down on the ground, "alright, then..."

Tristan looks at the bars.. and sees a boy walk past him. He didn't look like a guard. He rushed over to the bars and watched him. He saw everything. "Whoa.." He mumbled. He started to walk inpatiently around his cell. He punched the wall, not in hopes to break it down, but from annoyance.

(So how should I make a guard come in, check on him or what?)

(Maybe you should have the guard check to see if he's still in the cell)

Takun lands on the bottom floor of the elevator shaft, and busts through the doors. He expected 1 million guards to be down there, but all he saw was a empty, abandoned room full of cells . Damn. He walks into the room, looking around at the cells. He puts his fingers on one of the bars, and dusts catches on the tip of his it. "Nobody has been in here for while..", grunts Takun. He begins to walk back to the elevator shaft when he gets hit in the back of the head with a blunt object. He slumps to the ground, half conscious, only able to hear his attackers words. "Lock him down in here, nobody will find out he's here."

(alllriighhhtyy... The RP is currently paused for maitennance whilst me and Hinako read through.. I spot a few probems, so before anyone posts again... let us sort em' out, kay? I'll chat you all when its time again.))

All right, sorry to say this... but everything sans Aaron escape and breaking out Dahlia has been Retconned.

Its all to cluttered... in order to make sure that all of the Mutants are in the same place, same time, Aaron can only break them out.

Sorry for the inconvienence... you wont regret it
