Atlus Warns Gamers Not To Spoil P4: Arena Ultimax

Posted
On a serious note from Atlus, they ask all fans to please refrain from posting story spoilers on video sharing websites, streaming services, Twitter and other social media networks.

Sharing video footage that’s not from Atlus is strictly forbidden, as they’d like to have as many fans possible enjoy the game to its fullest, and ask for your help to help make that happen.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Atlus!! I really do hate when people import a new game from Japan and spoil the heck out of it before the English release comes out (looking at you GameXplain). More game companies need to do this for people who import Japanese games.

They did the same with when Persona Q came out in Japan and we still have to wait two months for that to come out in the U.S.

Yeah. And yet the Japanese version of Persona Q is all over the internet for people to get spoiled on.

Too bad, gonna happen anyway. I mean, it's not like the uploader is responsible for the others watching it. By the way, the whole GameXplain thing...you were warned, not to mention you DIDN'T HAVE TO WATCH IT.

I temporarily unsubscribed to GameXplain to avoid any Hyrule Warriors spoilers. If they want to do let's plays, they should at least wait until the game is available in most regions

Does it mean the people who import the Japanese version will get their videos hit by Copyright strikes?

Probably. They might just ask the uploader to remove the video if they upload any spoilers for the NA/EU fans that didn't buy the English version yet.

I dun get what the problem is. I mean it was literally noted in several HW Discussion videos and the best part: you didn't have to watch it. In fact there were no spoilers in the thumbnails even. If someone gets upset over a version being played and uploaded when the other versions aren't out, especially when they don't need to watch it and aren't being spoiled by the thumbnails on a video...that's just...pathetic I guess. It's not really the word I'm looking for, but it's the first to come to mind.

They spoil every stages with the title of each video

I'm sorry, but if you didn't know about all the stages, you must have quit following the news. Koei Techmo literally revealed all the stages in the game before it's release in Japan.

This is literally every stage:  http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/zelda/stage.html

After that, they noted everything else as Mystery Stages and even kept the Final Stage as Final Stage, which isn't even on the list (it's the only one not on the list of stages).

I know, but I don't read every single news they release to avoid being spoil,I didn't watch the latest Nintendo direct entirely as well.I try to avoid major spoilers as much as possible, but I like to have some info about games I want before buying them especially when its a game like Dynasty Warriors that I'm not familiar with.

The only spoilers you should be worried about with a game like this is the story.
