I'm not proud of it because of few simple reasons:

1) One of the kids there acts like he is the center of the universe, and if anyone disagrees with his opinion, he becomes butthurt and starts arguing with them

2) When i'm in special ed, i sometimes feel ashamed of being there. Thinking that if i'll ever reveal it to my non-special ed friends, they'll laugh at me, or i'll never get into a good college.

3) Just now, some kid started a tantrum because he couldn't call his mommy on the phone.

Is it normal to feel this way?

Ay, man, don't worry about it. You are you. You can't help how you learn or what decisions people have to make for you, albeit rather stupid ones sometimes.

If there's anything you should know, just know that whenever you're here, you can talk to me, or many of other people. Don't sweat it!

Perfectly normal for you to be annoyed by this. I'd have lost my shit and jumped out of a window, but not before punching that guy you mentioned in 1).Also I'd suggest you try to make use of Special Ed. Find a way to improve as a person specially when it comes to being social

I was in special ed too because of my slight learning disability. Sadly there where no one in there that needed to be there cause every student was just lazy doing homework or did drugs. So honestly I felt alone. But I see your point it can be rather annoying.
