Sora respects Kairi enough to tell her this would happen. 

Unlike the hentai/fan ideas, Sora loves Kairi as a "dear friend" to quote the game guide, and a friend wouldn't let another friend accidentally expose herself like that. 

Roxas being part of Sora has that carry over affection for Kairi, so he tell's him about it because Sora probably isn't staring at her ass all the time.
