(OKAY GUYS. Just a quick few things I forgot to mention. Please follow this rp so that y'all will know when a post is made, and also if someone doesn't post for a while just let that person know. On with the rp!)"I hope you all amuse me..."Roxas was already up in this fine morning in Asnia. Usually his brother woke up first, however the sounds of his father working always woke Roxas right up. He wanted to see the cool new weapons that were being made. He swung around downstairs, said hi to his mother, and ran right outside to greet his father at the forge. "Hey dad!"The father chuckled, and showed Roxas a rather fancy looking sword. "This here is made out of Orichalcum. Pretty deadly. Why don't you call your brother down to see?"Roxas chuckled, and slipped into the front door. "NERD-""Roxas!" The father scolded."...Ventus! Dad wants you to wake up and come downstairs!" he turned right back around. He expected Ventus to be up anyway... he did after all, put a spider on his pillow. If Roxas had a watch, he would check it. "I give it three seconds." he mused to himself. 

 

Meanwhile, another page in a storybook was currently scrambling to get ready for his own day. This man was Corvo Attano. He was to adopt from an orphanage that day; and unfortunately he had just gotten back from a rather deadly contract he just completed. Escorting a messenger through a dungeon. How bad could it be? He currently was living in an inn, however for legal purposes he bought a little cottage like home next to the inn and some farmer and her magic student son. One of the maids was fixing him up."Corvo, you look like a mess."I know, I know." He ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I gotta go. See you soon.""Corvo!"He turned around. "What?"

The maid sighed. "You have blood on your face." The man sighed and just licked his thumb to wipe the blood off. He just then hurried out the door to go to the orphanage. He didn't want to be late. 

[Kirby Contray]

 

 

     Kirby heard voices and music from outside. So, he stood up from the couch and cracked open the door to see what was the matter. He saw the hooded kidnapper talking to someone else on the roof of the house next to him. he shrieked, and promptly slammed the door shut. He ran upstairs to Roxas' room and hid under the bed in fear. He shivered in terror. That man came back.

 

     "Poyo..."

 

 

[Marluxia Contray]

 

 

     "Come on, Kirby. Don't you wish to go to the festival?...", he called out from beyond the door. He tried to open it, but it was locked.

     "Oh, boy. How cute. You locked the door..." He took out one of his cards with an image of an ice crystal and flicked it with his finger. He focused on the doorknob and it froze up. He put the card away and kicked off the knob. It shattered into pieces and he pushed open the door and walked inside.

     "Kirby.~ Where are you?...~" he called as he looked around the house.

 

Meanwhile...

 

    "I wonder who that hooded man was. He sure seemed nice!~", the man with the green scarf thought as he walked into the crowded plaza. He was simply amazed at all of the excitement going around. He walked around from person to person, greeting almost all of them rather spontaneously, getting distracted from his main goal.

As they got back to the house, delsin could see the signs of a break in from down the road. "Someone broke in. Be careful. You guys may wanna hang back." Silently, he dashed up to the house and slipped in, coming up behind marulxia. He threw his arm around his neck and held the knife he had drawn from his hip an Inch from his chest, indicating he would hurt him, but not quite yet. He wanted awensers. "Who are you and why are you here. I better like your answer."

[Kirby Contray]

 

     "You promised...", Kirby thought as he started to weep under the bed. "You looked at Miles right in the eyes, and promised to look after the house, but look what happened! You promised!" That phase repeated in his head.

     "You promised! 

     You promised! 

     You promised! 

     You promised!" He covered his face with his hands, unsure of what to really do now.

 

 

 

[Marluxia Contray]

 

Marluxia was somewhat surprised by the man holding him back. He grinned calmly and answered the man, looking back at him.

     "Now now, Put that away. I'm just a nobody, looking for his lost brother. That child you're holding here is him. Kirby. I've come to take him home. I apologize for being so intrusive. I'm in a hurry.~", he said politely, trying to gain the man's approval. He really wasn't up for a fight right now.

~Miles Thompson~ "You!" Miles exclaimed. "You're the one who's been following Kirby around all day!" He shot his eyes towards Delsin. "Kirby said there was a hooded man following him around. This must be him!" Miles struck a battle pose, ready to pounce.

Makoto and Komaru

 

After getting some things in and around the market, Makoto and Komaru started to head home.

"Big bro?" Komaru asked.

"Yeah?" Makoto replied.

"Isn't there some sort of festival that's meant to be going on in this town soon?" Komaru asked, looking up to Makoto as they walked.

"I think there might be, we could go to it if you want." Makoto suggested, Komaru's eyes sparkled.

"Really big bro!? We can really go!?" Komaru asked cheerfully.

"Yup, of course we can!" Makoto replied. Komaru hugged Makoto.

"Yay!" Komaru shouted in glee as they walked home together. 

 

They arrived at their house, going in and putting their items in their room and walking back out again. 

"Let's go!" Komaru shouted happily. Makoto and Komaru headed over to the area where the festival would be.

Silver slowly nodded and began to flip through the book. He was still weary of it, because of the dark aura that was around it earlier. He feared that possibly his was just a trick made by Vanitas to maybe curse them, or atleast point them in the wrongn direction in reguards to research.

"I hope you're right..." He muttered.

 

Clementine gave a nod. Her mother would have dinner with the entire town if she could.

"Sure." She said, swinging her legs even more. "My mother always invites people over to dinner. I'm sure she would love to have your friends over. I bring my friends over all the time."

 

Vanitas rolled his eyes aggravatedly and crossed his arms. "I was in no 'blast from the past.' " he claimed. This caused him to get angry, somewhat with himself for he hated to think of his past life. He never shared it with anyone. "And I'm not grumpy! Your stupid little pet can go fall of a tree for all I care." Is Dawn seriously getting upset over a bird?

Maleficent chirped and happily accepted Dawn's gesture. She hopped right into Dawn's hands.

 

As Makoto and Komaru were heading over to the village, a boy collided headfirst right into the elder brother.

"Hey watch it!" There was Black, dusting himself off from yet another collision he found himself into that day.

"Does everyone ignore where they're going-" he trailed off after seeing the younger sister. He blushed and rubbed the back of his head.

"O-Oh hi..." He stampered. "S-Sorry... About that..."

Makoto and Komaru

 

Makoto fell to the ground and landed on his back.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Komaru shouted, moving over to Makoto.

"Are you okay, big bro?" Komaru asked with a worried tone.

"A little sore, but otherwise okay." Makoto replied, rubbing his back. Komaru turned to Black with a cold stare.

"Watch where you're going next time!" Komaru scolded Black, helping Makoto up.

"Come on, sis... It was an accident on both ends... No need to scold him over it..." Makoto said quietly.

"Maybe so, but he can't just change his tone like that as soon as he sees a girl!" Komaru rebutted.

(The code worked! Also, Black is a new character, friends with Clementine. I'm going to make a sheet for him tomorrow)

Black shuffled his feet, already feeling a crush coming on for Komaru. However this brief moment was crush because Komaru yelled at him.

"Y-Your brother was right!" He claimed. "It was an accident! And I do watch where I was going..." He muttered. Black reached out his hands to help Makoto.

"You alright?" He asked.

(Makoto was already up )

 

Makoto and Komaru

 

"Grr... Watch where you're going next time then!" Komaru growled. Makoto filed a hand through Komaru's hair to calm her down, she was even purring slightly as he did it.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Makoto replied to Black. 

"I'm Makoto. Makoto Naegi and this is my little sister, Komaru Naegi." Makoto introduced himself and Komaru, Komaru folded her arms and looked away with a pout.

"Nice to meet you..." Komaru said resentfully, still looking away.

~Dawn Estheim~ "I don't think falling out of a tree would hurt this bird that much, Vanitas..." Dawn sighed a little. "Anyways, back to business. Where to?"~Link Baxter~   "This only happened one other time for me, and I didn't listen. I'm not going to say much, but... it lead to a loss of someone very dear to me. Link took off his cap and held it at his chest as he spoke. "I... I don't want anyone to die because of me again. This time, I'm going to listen." Link faded out for a bit, recalling his repetitive dreams, his memories that kept haunting him every night. Malon...   Link snapped out of it fast enough. He put his cap back on, gave it a flick, and smiled. "We should get going! Let's go find Sonic."~Sonic Needleson~ "Alright, sweet!" Sonic looked back to the Kid he bumped into earlier. He was talking to two strangers he's never seen before. "What's Black's deal anyways? He have a crush on you?"

Makoto and Komaru

 

Komaru was still looking away when Sonic spoke.

"I dunno why do- WHY WOULD HE HAVE A CRUSH ON ME!?" Komaru screamed, heavily embarrassed, her cheeks started blushing red.

"Surely he can't have a crush on her. We've only just met and we don't know him. We just happened to bump into him." Makoto explained, scratching the back of his head nervously.

"Y-Yeah! Exactly!" Komaru agreed, getting behind Makoto and hugging him slightly.

"Not if the bird can't fly from broken wings..." Vanitas mittered. Dawn suddenly had a point. Where should they go next? This was the Afterlife Festival, and Vanitas used to attend the same festival in Chivia so might as well see how pathetic the festival was here.

"Let's 'enjoy' this festival... Hopefully some opportunities might come to us." If there was anything Vanitas learned over the years, if was that sometimes instead of searching for opportunities, you have to let opportunities come to you.

 

Silver watched Link in worry. He could easily tell something was wrong, especially by how distant Link was. He didn't say anything about it, because he understood that Link must not want to talk about it. He slipped into a small train of thought until Link talked about finding Sonic.

"Uh yeah.. Sure. He can't be too far from here."

 

Black was rather taken aback by the entire moment, so his first idea was to just introduce himself.

"Well uh, hi there! I'm Black Serious- Sirius Black- no! Black Sirius is my name yup- Black Sirius that who I am."

That blue haired boy from earlier suddenly entered the concersation, and Black inwardly freaked out at the whole crush idea.

"W-What?!" He asked. "No!" Black looked to Makoto with a crazy look.

"How can you be calm?!"

 

Clementine giggled at this exchange between Black and everyone.

"I never seen Black like this before."

Makoto and Komaru

 

"What do you mean, why am I so calm?" Makoto asked.

"I-I'd pick big bro over any other boy!" Komaru shouted from behind Makoto.

"And there's your reason why I'm calm. I've tried to encourage her before but she said she only wants to love one boy, being me. As a brother of course." Makoto explained, Komaru nodded her head from behind him. The scene had turned rather awkward.

~Link Baxter/Sonic Needleson~ "Bwahaha!" Sonic was bent over, hands on his stomach, almost wheezing with laughter. He straightened himself out and patted Blacks back. "Don't worry about it, man " Link heading out of the Library to a full Plaza, almost to the brim. He could see Sonic over a few people, laughing. "Hey, Link, man, get over here! You too, Silver!" He seemed in a good mood. Link complied, and squeezed himself through the crowd to reach the boy. "Hey, guys. I want you to meet my friends. This is Clem and Black. Chem's mom said we could have dinner at her house tonight!" Sonic looked back to black. "I can expect you there too, I assume?"~Dawn Estheim~ Dawn straightened the mask on her face again, and laughed. "To the Festival!"

[Marluxia/Kirby Contray]

 

    "Oh? He's told you that?", Marluxia said, looking back at Miles. "He's just forgotten about me is all. It's caused by a curse, I'm sure. Now, calm down and let me get him." He started to try and gently break free from Delsin's grip. "Come on, let me go see my little brother...~"

     "He's lying!", Kirby shouted from the bedroom door. 

Suprised to hear his little brother's voice, he called out to him.

     "Oh come now, Kirby. Don't you want to see our neighbor, Axel?..."

Kirby froze at the mention of his neighbors name.

     "H-How do you know him?..." He blinked in shock.

 

 

[?????]

 

     The man with the green scarf kept greeting everyone with utter innocence and enthusiasm. Then he remembered. He had to look for somebody...or was it something?...

     "Oh. Right! You came here to find...things...What where they again?... Oh yes! Magic!~", he thought.

He then walked around the huge crowd, trying to feel the bad magic sensed before, getting a bit lost.

     "Hmm..."

Silver hurried along with Link to met up with everyone. Upon getting there, Silver happily greeted Sonic. He was somewhat weary of the newcomers, but that was just a habit he gained from the fact that everyone was trying to basically kill him.

"Hey everyone. My name is Silver, but you knew that already Sonic." He rubbed the back of his head. Sonic mentioned a dinner, which honestly right now sounded great.

 

Black almost jumped out of his skin at Sonic's sudden backslap, and he nervously waved his hands infront of him.

"Why are we talking about love interests I have no love interests who has love interests? Not me. Nope. Nopppppe."

 

Clementine started to laugh quietly at this entire matter. More so because her dear friend Black was acting like a complete doofus, which was usual of him however acting all embarrassed like this was completely out of the ordinary for a boy like Black. Once other people started looking at her, Clementine shyly hid behind Sonic in a similar way as how Komaru hid behind Makoto. She was always so shy around new people, especially so many.

 

Vanitas nodded, and fixed his mask a bit. If he was going to dress up, he was going to make sure he at least didn't look like a total idiot.

"I wonder if any fools are going to attempt on casting magic for the 'festive' occasion. You can't be a magician here without being procecuted."

He almost chuckled at the fact. Everyone, especially the government in Asnia was filled with utter fools.

 

Meanwhile, Roxas didn't but it one bit from the pink-haired man.

"Even if you were telling the truth, Kirby obviously doesn't want to see you! If you really wanted him to remember, you wouldn't take him away from his friends and kidnap him!" He took out his sword.

"And you're breaking into MY home so scram!"

It was shocking that the guards didn't even notice the exchange. Everyone was so busy paying attention to the festival it didn't even look like Roxas was about to challenge Marluxia to an actual duel.

"If you want Kirby you have to go through us!" He said.

Makoto and Komaru 

 

Komaru peeked her head out a little to see who was there, as more and more people were starting to come over. Komaru started to hug Makoto tighter. 

"Big bro... There's so many strangers here..." Komaru said quietly, staying behind Makoto. 

"I know, It's okay, I'll keep you safe sis." Makoto replied, Komaru smiled and kept a hold of Makoto.

"Thank you Big bro, you're the best." Komaru said sweetly. She looked out and seen another small girl cowering behind Sonic just like she was hiding behind Makoto. She tilted her head and blinked a few times at Clementine.

Delsin didnt move. "were not 'holding' him here. hes our friend." He then heard miles say something behind him. "following him around?" He grip on the knife tightened. it took alot of willpower not to put him right to sleep. "Tell us who you are. no more of this 'nobody' business."

~Miles Thompson~ Miles whipped off the mans remarks, and jumped over the man to get to Kirby. Tails was so glad he could jump the way he could! He ran to the door and began to speak.

"Kirby, you alright?"~Link/Sonic~ "A dinner sounds great!" Link took a peak behind Sonic to the little girl he called Clementine. "Hello there," Link spoke, "My name is Link." Link nearly forgot of the adventure that was ahead when he saw this little girl, a girl who so much reminded him of Malon.

Sonic stood watching the others socialize.

"So, when's dinner?"

~Dawn Estheim~

"We found a way to do it." Dawn began, playfully tossing Maleficent again, "I'm sure other people have to. Enchanted objects... Oh wait!" Dawn pulled out the Materia she forgot that she purchased. "Do you think I should equip these just in case something happens?" She remembered that the girl called Yuffie told her they were called "Cure" and "Esuna", and that she needed to be careful, or she could die using them.

     Kirby promptly threw his arms around Miles in fear.

     "No! I broke my promise!", he cried. "I'm scared...And how does he know my neighbor??"

 

[Marluxia Contray]

 

 

     Marluxia chuckled at Delsin.

    "Honestly, do you folks really want to fight, especially during a festival?" He sighed and seemed to cave in, still hoping to get their approval. "Alright, alright. My name is Marluxia. Marluxia Contray. I reside from Chiva, so does Kirby. Happy?", he said, now frustrated and trying to pull the knife away.

Roxas stood right by Delsin's side with his sword. Two against one: perfect odds. Marluxia finally told them who he was.

"Well then, 'Marly,' if you really ARE Kirby's brother, then why are you trying to kidnap him?! If you really want to prove us he's your brother, then tell us everything about Kirby." Roxas knew Ventus like a book, so if Marluxia was Kirby's brother than he must know Kirby like a book as well.

 

Vanitas rolled his eyes and waved Dawn off.

"Sure. I don't really care." He muttered. He thought the whole materia thing was stupid, but if it's going to make Dawn happy then he was fine with it.

"Just be careful with those damned things."

 

Clementine cowered even more, instantly noticing Link's eyes and Komaru eyes on her. She relaxed more at seeing Komaru, since Komaru was having similar feelings. Still, Clementine was extremely embarrassed.

"I-I'm Clementine..." She peeped, barely audible. Sonic asked when dinner was, and Clementine looked down at her feet.

"W-We could eat now if you want..." She mumbled. "By the time we finish, the shows and games will be just starting..."

 

Black grinned at his sweet little Clemmy. He got up right next to Sonic, serving as a second wall for his little friend.

"I might have to skip out on dinner today. My ma' actually cooked up some grub and my pa'll drop kick me if I miss it... Not literally."

~Miles Thompson~ "It's alright... It's not your fault. Let's get out of here!" Miles stated. He looked out the nearby window, checking how far a distance it was for a jump... What was he worried about? He could jump!

He was the Jump MASTER! He MASTERED the jump! He's not gonna jump right here, right here, right there, nah, he'll jump all over.

He opened the window, and prepared a jump.

"Brace yourself!" And with that, out the window they went! Holding Kirby in tight with his right leg and his right hand, he managed to grap a banner that hang nearby, swinging slowly to the ground, instead of directly falling.

"Alright, now, let's get you out of here! Anywhere you want to go?"~Link/Sonic~

Link already felt pretty bad that Clemmy was scared... he felt worse when Black stated he wasn't going to join! She'd be surrounded by strangers... what could he do to make her feel more comfortable? Maybe it was his sword that was off putting?

"Clemmy..." he started. He took off his cap and knelt on one knee, which he laid the cap across as he pulled out his sword from behind him.

"This blade, I like to call it Fi. It was given to me by a very special person. The same person who made these clothes for me. If it will make you feel better, I'll let Sonic hold on to it for me, so that you aren't as shy. Is that okay?" Sonic laughed at first, but then he noticed the sincerity in Link's eye, and the shy little girl that clang to him. Sonic took up the blade, and rested it on his shoulder.

 

~Dawn Estheim~

"Well, fine!" Dawn was at the point to where she could recognize Vanitas' expressions, and what they meant. Even if she couldn't see his face, his body language was enough.

"It sure is crowded here..." Dawn stated as she realized the crowd was for the Afterlife Festival.

Makoto and Komaru

 

Komaru heard Clementine's small peep, she stepped out from behind Makoto and slowly went toward Clementine.

"H-Hi there... I'm Komaru." Komaru greeted Clementine, bending down to see Clementine, Komaru tilted her head cutely at Clementine, blinking a few times, staving off the urge to punch Black, standing beside her. Makoto was standing with his hand on his hip, watching Komaru greet Clementine, making him smile warmly. 

It's nice to see her greeting people like this... At least she's trying... Makoto thought to himself.

Clementine shook silently in fear at Link who suddenly kneeled down to talk to her. She was afraid of swords, weapons in general really. All weapons did was harm people. Link explained to her about his blade, and gave it to Sonic. Clementine gave a small nod, now not feeling as scared anymore. Komaru also came too; she tried to greet Clementine. Seeing that Komaru was just as shy as she was, Clementine was able to relax a little even more.

"H-Hi Komaru..." Clementine said bashfully. She slowly inched out from behind Sonic to give Komaru a small smile.

"It's nice to meet you."

 

Meanwhile Black couldn't help but grin helplessly at the scene. He was so happy and proud of Clementine that she was able to be around other people without his aid. He knew even though he couldn't join dinner with Clementine and her new friends, Clementine would still be in very good hands. Who knows, maybe he could stop by later if he hurried and ate his own cooking.

 

Silver felt a warmness in his heart after seeing Link exchange his sword for Clementines sake. The little girl was so damn sweet and innocent, and Silver suddenly felt a nervous pit welling up in his stomach. He feared of what could happen to such a pure little girl in a world like this. He tried to put off the nervous feeling and instead smiled at Link and Sonic.

"Good job, guys." He said.

 

Meanwhile Vanitas walked along with Dawn, shoving at anyone who happened to bump shoulders with him. He was pretty aggravated, as he ways was, and he hated crowds.

"This is child's play." He mused. Maleficent burrowed herself underneath Dawn's hat as if it was a warm next. Maleficent feared of so many people

Vanitas looked into his satchel to count his materials. All seemed to be good.

"The crowds in Chivia are larger compared to this. The Afterlife Festival is way better than this s***fest." A small thought appeared in is head. Why weren't anyone going to Chivia to see the Festival? Farron was close to the borders. People usually migrated to Chivia to see this festival. Are they not allowing as much people cross the border?

~Sonic/Link~ "Eating now sounds good to me! My stomach is crying for some nourishment!" Sonic, running as fast as he did, needed to eat large amounts of food to keep up with his metabolism. Link put his cap back on and nodded, listening to his own stomach rumble. "After you, Clemmy." Link spoke respectively.~Dawn~ "You'd be surprised. You saw that black market, a load of people use magic in ways they can get away with." Dawn paused. "For example..." Dawn formed a small snowball in her hand. "Watch this." Dawn took the ball in one hand, and threw it up into the sky. Once it reached a climax, Dawn spread her hands apart, and the sky exploded with tiny flakes, raining down on the people in a divine showcase. The people cheered, thinking the festival had started! The music began, and the dancers started their routine.
