This may have been a flashback chapter, but we saw some important history being made. Who would have known what Hashirama wanted would come true 4 kages later. And to top it off, the 5 kage has finally arrived. No telling what can happen in the next chapter, but I believe we will have something big in the next 2 chapters. As for the battle itself, as many predicted, Juugo gives Sasuke Senjutsu energy through curse marks to allow sasuke to attack Obito without worrying about what type of attacks he needs, plus Sasuke finally reached Full Susanoo. Obito is at disadvantage here, but he's sneaky, cause he get's damaged hard, and gets uber powerful all in the sudden. Next chapter is gonna have some heavy action.

 

 

 

Agreed. I think this was a solid chapter in the hype department, unlike what most people would say about it.

 

 

Also, since I just watched the newest anime ep:

 

 

Man, that Hashirama clone of Madara was even FREAKIER with that nice animation... plus, Sasuke reuniting with Itachi, Ohnoki's flashback/moments, Tsunade's moments, and of course, the very beginning with Madara taking out that Rock Golem was great. The preview looks to hold an even better episode, with Tsunade cranking out the Strength of a Hundred power and Sasuke/Itachi VS Kabuto starting up. :)

Well apparently, we have a motivation chapter this time (I kinda saw it coming anyways). This was an unpredictable chapter. Numerous people thought Karin would heal shikamaru, or Tsunade would heal him, or Sakura using a technique Tsunade wouldn't want her to use, But who would've thought that Naruto's spirit and chakra would heal Shikamaru and motivate everyone else, plus additional motivation from the Gokages? I think another plot jutsu was created. Motivate no Jutsu. And what do you know? It looks like Kakashi is doing good, just healing up his wounds and getting ready to go back to the battlefield, Looks like we be seeing him again next week. And from the looks of everything, we may get some progression next week hopefully, cause Obito needs some serious ass kicking and Madara needs to go back to where he belongs.

SHIKAMARU LIIIIIIIIVES! Also, I guess Naruto and Sasuke vs Obito will really pick up next week, heck yes. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I can't wait until they beat that jerk back down into the ground where he belongs.

now for my chapter review....

 

 

I have to say it was a pretty good chapter. The alliance got a boosted will, and all, including Kages, are trying to cut that damn tree down. Orochimaru is not very interested in the war, but he willingly takes part of it due to himself not willing to abandon his experiments if Obito's dream comes true. I think Orochimaru is still hiding something, he's a snake y'know. Meanwhile Tsunade and Sakura teamed up together which we don't see very often and summoned 1/10 of Katsuya to help the allience regain their lost chakra. Finally we got to see some Naruto and Sasuke vs. Obito, Obito finally switches to attack mode and gained more strength, which is really odd, because it kinda makes me think of the pokemon Deoxys which has numerous modes for specific attributes. He deploys such a powerful attack and they survived it as usual. Obito starts his demotivate no jutsu and aims it towards Naruto, while failing miserably due to the power of Naruto's nindo. It then ends with an awesome final panel of Naruto and Sasuke, side by side, with their respective powerful modes.

 

Now we got to see some more Kakashi in this chapter, oddly, he detects Obito's Will of FIre in his heart, but is overshadowed by hatred, and Obito obtains some of the will of fire during his fight with Naruto.This may open up a couple theories that I had about Obito, plus a new one. I think Obito is just testing Naruto, trying to break his Will of Fire, because right now, he has the power to initiate Infinite Tsukuyomi, but could've used it 10 chapters ago. I think he's jealous of Naruto. They both are similar to each other in the past, and even after Naruto's experience with many of the hard challenges, he still has the same personality, and Obito wants to break that persona. But he won't be able to anyways.I like to see what Obito has planed in the next chapters, would he continue being his current persona, or will he have a sudden change when naruto and sasuke beats the $#&% out of Obito and sacrifices himself to kill Madara? We find out next week and so on forth.

Okay, I just recently saw the new Naruto Opening 14 and ending 27, I have to say, without focusing on the lyrics, the songs sound.... odd, esp. ending song. Every time I hear that song, I keep getting the jazzy feels. Other than that, let's talk about the opening content.

 

Now I probably should put this in spoilers due to that we may have guests that snoop through the forums that don't follow the Naruto series thoroughly (as in only watched about half of shippuden)

 

 

So the opening covers the 3 core battles, Gokages vs. Madara Uchiha, Sasuke and Itachi vs. Dragon Sage Kabuto, and Naruto, Kakashi and Guy vs. Obito. The opening has some scenes that are heavy spoilers for those who watched the show, but haven't read the manga, like in one of the videos on youtube, around 8 to 10 seconds, a person would see a girl and mistake her to be Sakura, when it's actually RIn, thus incidentally reveals to the viewer that Tobi is Obito. As I said before, the scenes should in the opening almost look like it could be directly ported in from the original scenes to be shown in later episodes (I may be wrong, but that's how I feel about that). Lyric-wise, I want to put out, that imo, the song is pretty poetic and is actually talking about Sasuke more than it's talking about Obito, or Naruto. Sasuke's been on his own for quite a long time, and is a very flawed person. He had to learn everything the hard way and find the truth about clans and villages. That's just my opinion about the opening.

 

 

Next, the ending theme.

 

 

This ending has Sasuke written all over the place. I can't really describe this as well as I did in the opening, but lyric-wise, it matches Sasuke's side of the story where his bathed with troubles and questions and seeks answers to those questions. one minute into the ending and it talks about the new beginning and a dawn to the world as Sasuke gets closer to the answers to the questions, kinda like what has occurred during the Sasuke and itachi vs. Kabuto battle, and when he was talking to the hokages of the past to get answers to the questions, and decides to join the battle to protect what his brother was trying to protect. Also, one minute into the ending, as the dawn approaches, if the viewer has the resolution of the ending at HD or True HD, they can see that he pulls off a trademark Uchiha smirk, that we haven't seen in ages since the original Naruto series. It probably won't happen for a while in the manga, but hey, it's something.

 

 

Now I have a theory that I would wish for it to NOT come true that relates to the anime.

 

 

I smell more filler episodes, and it would come during Hashirama's story-telling of Hashirama and Madara. They would add more tell about the childhood of Hashirama and Madara as they progress to the point where they face-off at the Valley of the End. I say 10+ extra episodes of this arc. It could be canon, or not; it'll be up to the viewers, still many don't like filler arcs. I hope this doesn't come true, cause if so, then brace yourselves.

All the manga fanboys would probably shit literal bricks if they put in more filler at this point, and that's not good for business. I'm cool with extra stuff in Hashirama and Madara arc, I just don't want it to be turned into like a 10+ episodes kinda thing. I agree with what you say though, we could use more information in this particular area. That may occur. And at the rate we are going right now, We shouldn't have to deal with anymore fillers for now on.

I guess what im saying is I understand why he did what he did, doesn't make it right but still. Guys, it's not over. More than likely, Obito is either going to get Talk no Jutsued or he's going to get at least one more shot.And then Madara jumps in... and yeah... he's not going down as quickly.

He was one of my favorites once too, but that stopped as soon as the mask came off.

 

OMFGBBQ!!!! BEST CHAPTER EVER!!!!! Obito get's owned by the power of Konoha 11! Kakashi actually saw what was going on in the battle and was surprised to see Sasuke working together with Naruto. The Sussano gave the Tailed Fox cloak an armor, everyone jumped into the tails (except Sakura because she has to stand her ground to give support to the SA), and just destroyed Obito's barrier, and broke the sword that can't do scratch. Then Obito ends up hallucinating, getting what if imaginations. It was kinda saddening, heck, he could had a chance to become Hokage, his true dream. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked (okay, okay, I'm just joking around with that part), but it's time for his time as a villain to end now.

Anything could happen in the next chapter, Obito would be too weak to even continue, and Madara would probably take advantage and the Madara would be the true villain. or Obito would have a final trick in his sleeve to beat Naruto and Sasuke up, or Obito would just give up and come to realization of Naruto's actions. Who knows? Only time will tell.
