It's been so long since I have read/watched Naruto...But I'm curious: What is Naruto's and Sasuke's relationship like today in the manga? 

 

Does Sasuke regret anything, or has he lost all interest in becoming friends with Naruto again?

 

 

 

He's decided to ally with the Leaf Village again, but mostly so that he can become Hokage and fix what he believes to be wrong in the village. Him and Naruto are getting along better now, but I don't know that I'd call them friends.

Up to this arc, my fav. arc has to be the finale of Part 1, in other words,

the infamous sasuke retrieval arc. It had so much action and story, i loved it. Shippuden was more action packed, but up to this point in the manga, which i find rivaling my other fav. arc, the sasuke retrieval arc is my fav. part of Naruto.

Yeah, you've missed alot. But i wont spoil anything other than anything necessary to explain their relationship at the current time.

Sasuke's finally defected back after 2 years, and he's helping Naruto in the final battle. But they're still on rocky terms, considering how he recently defected, and it wasnt because of Naruto's many efforts, it was for his own reason.

If you can read 100 chapters a day, you'll be done in less than a week. But be careful if you do that, you'll get a massive info overload, and it'll make it a bit harder to remember what happens.

Okay... After what happened in this week's chapter, the list of King of Trolls has been modified.

Kishimoto has earned his place as the 2nd King of Trolls, while Nomura is still holding first place, therefore, still King of the Trolls.

Well, we have received not one episode, BUT TWO EPISODES!

 

Here's my review for episode 346

 

 

First half is canon to manga, We see more goriness everywhere. Heck, it's all black blood, and I haven't seen black blood since Soul Eater. Obito gets a grip on "reality", and returns to Madara to learn Infinite Tsukiyomi (I don't remember seeing Madara make himself look younger during genjutsu sequence in the manga). Madara implanted his will into White Zetsu, which became Black Zetsu, and unplugged himself from Gedo, killing himself. Obito, Spiral, and Zetsu set to Amegakure to persuade the Ame orphans, Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato, the rinnegan user, to join Obito's cause (they under idea that he is Madara), but fails, but said he will wait at the same exact place at the same time.

 

Next half is not canon to manga, but you can call it canon or not, because this half and the next episode reflects on Akatsuki's early days, imo, I shed a couple tears seeing how things looked so bright for them, and Obito had to go and ruin it all... The Ame Orphans created Akatsuki to unite the sufferers and help create true peace which isn't so bad before Sh*t went down. Heck, we got to see more interaction amongst the orphans. Yahiko is freaking hilarious sometimes, esp. when Nagato teases him saying that he likes Konan. I never saw Nagato as the teasing, and funny person.... Dammit Kishi what are you doing to us? You're making us feel even more bad for the Ame Orphans. Overall, I really like this half of the episode, just not the beginning half.

 

 

Episode 347

 

 

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it went downhill quickly...

 

Hanzo, leader of Amegakure, noticed Akatsuki's and praises them, and things seem to go well, until The hidden Stone Village attacked a village in Amegakure. The orphans were attacked while investigating. They tried to negotiate, but were unable to budge them. They end up getting Yahiko and Konan beaten and cornered, and faced a similar situation Nagato experienced with his parents (whose we get to see their faces for the first time if I'm correct), and during the young years, he summons the power of his rinnegan, and summons the Gedo Mazo Statue and defeated all of them, but went to unconsciousness. After they retreated, a shocking revelation...

 

 

MOTHAFIRETRUCKIN' DANZO!!! THAT (unimaginable cuss words that are not appropriate for this site directed at Danzo) I HOPE HE FRICKING STEPS ON LEGOS FOR ALL DAMN ETERNITY!!!!!

 

Meanwhile Kakashi talks with Jiraiya, about what the Ame orphans are doing and how successful they are. Unfortunately at the same time, Jiraiya is... well.... doing research... He explains the characteristics of the Ame Orphans to Kakashi. We will be seeing more of Kakashi soon.

 

The whole Akatsuki leaves on a mission to continue to help save their village and stop it from crying. Meanwhile, that DAMN, BACKSTABBING DANZO decides to screw with the leader of Amegakure and said that the bodies he has are Ame nin, and Akatsuki killed them (which in reality, were Danzo's Root members that died during Gedo match). While all of this is occuring, Obito, and the Zetsu crew watch from the behind the scenes, with Obito commenting on how reality will catch up to them.

 

The next episode will be about how the original Akatsuki has fallen, and pretty much the death of Yahiko probably, and Nagato's true awakening, and he will become manipulated by Obito, and create a new Akatsuki, the one we know as the Akatsuki who steals Tailed Beasts to create Infinite Tsukiyomi.

Because the manga is far ahead, and even though the manga catches up to 662, there would be 30+ chapters released by the time anime catches up to 662. So let's celebrate a year of no fillers after ANBU arc is over.

I have to agree... I still have that prediction that we would get fillers (well in the manner of the filler that we have this week and last week) for the big flashback arc (if you know what I'm saying).

Yeah im pretty sure he said that. So one way or another, the series only has 38 issues left or less before the series is wrapped up. Im guessing he's gonna try to stretch it to the max of 700 to make sure everything is cleared up for sure.

On a side note, I PLATINUMED NARUTO SHIPPUDEN ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 3 FULL BURST! It was definitely worth it, everything was so good, and it had more content then i would've expected out of a fighting game. I loved every second of it.

You know, ive been wondering something. What exactly does Shippuden mean in Japanese? Since its the name of the second part of Naruto, i figured it has to mean something like Return or New start or something.
