So random question just for giggles: how far do you think the Naruto plot was planned out. I mean, Part 1 was pretty legitimate as far as plot lining goes, and even with the added stuff with the Akatsuki, you have to think that back then, you wouldn't think to see some of the stuff we see now in Part 2, and you probably wouldn't even believe it to be part of real canon either. I mean, I remember seeing the sixth opening of Naruto where it has the panning and shaking shots of certain groups of characters, and one of those shots was Akatsuki. They obviously showed off Itachi and Kisame but I also saw the figures for what looked like Deidara and Sasori in his Hiruko puppet disguise. I also remember that at the end of episode 135, the Zetsu appeared for the first time, and he met up with the rest of the Akastsuki members including Itachi and Kisame. Here's the original manga chapter 238, the last chapter of Part 1, for better reference:

 

 

 

 

Here we can obviously spot out 1) Itachi 2) Kisame 3) Konan 4) Zetsu (hanging on the wall possibly) 5) Sasori (in disguise) 6) Deidara (with a somewhat inverted hairsyle 7) Kakuzu (looking a bit taller than his original design) and 8) Pain/Nagato (also with an altered hairstyle and what seems to be the early design of the Rinnegan. As you can see, some of the characters don't or don't appear to look as we've already seen them in full form.

 

Of course this is all speculation on my part, but still, it's just a thought. Not every shonen mangaka shows everything they're going to put out at the beginning.

Since its a good guess that Naruto will probably end at 700 issues, that's 10 weeks before the end of the year, assuming that Kishi doesn't take anymore breaks in between, which he will probably take a few more, and its confirmed to DEFINITELY end this year.

 

Im planning to catch up on 4 SUPER LONG MANGA(Go on my Profile to see what's in my "Anime/Manga waiting list" and "Currently Reading/Watching" sections to see what im talking about, all i'll say is that they range from 500-700 issues EACH), and then after, i'm gonna try to watch the anime for ALL of Naruto(not so sure about Part 1, but knowing me, i'll watch it anyway and watch some of the filler people say is good and skip the rest that i dont like or dont inerest me) along with most of the filler of shippuden(there may be some i wont like and ill skip). I plan to do that before the manga ends near the end of the year, although i plan to try and catch up on all of my 4 manga before summer, and if not(which is a likely possibilty) i'll use the summer to catch up on all of that and start Naruto the Anime.

10. "No Boy No Cry"- Stance Punks

Ah, the opening for the Naruto vs Sasuke battle. If the fight wasn't already as hectic and intense as it was, this only heightened the suspense. It really did a great job of boosting the excitement and hype for the final (canon) battle of Part 1. Not to mention that the animation was good, and the music was great.

 

9. "Toumei Datta Sekai"- Motohiro Hata

Another big battle opening, this time for Naruto vs Pain. Seeing the destruction of Konoha made this one intense. Also, that final facedown between Naruto and Pain made this absolutely amazing. The song was good, too.

 

8. "Closer"- Inoue Joe

(Sorry, had to use the Guren arc version since that's the one that this channel has uploaded. ) This arc focused mostly on the death of a... certain character (Won't say who to avoid spoilers). The song fit that very well, being about what it feels like to lose someone close to you, which is what a character very close to the deceased has to learn to cope with. The animation for the regular version was fantastic, with the battle segment being very well animated.

 

7. "Re:member"- Flow

To be honest, I skipped the filler arcs of Part 1. I did look up the openings though, and this one's easily my favorite. It fits Part 1 really well, and that Konoha 11 segment when they all use their signature moves is fantastic. The song feels incredibly fitting to the entirety of part 1, honestly. For a filler arc, this opening was really good.

 

6. "Niwaka Ame Nimo Makezu"- Nico Touches the Wall

Ah, when the Fourth Great Ninja War saga really began to heat up. I didn't like this one at first, but the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me. The beginning shows the despair of the battle, and invokes the feeling that this arc's going to have a lot of tough battles. The song also seemed to back up the feeling of this action-intensive arc, which I think is my favorite part of this one.

 

5. "Seishun Kyosokyoku"- Sambomaster

The opening used for the Sasuke Retrieval arc (Except for when Naruto vs Sasuke started, anyway). The song's tone fits the arc well, and the animation lets the viewer know that this is when the series really begins to get serious. It felt great for the end of the series, there isn't a better one that could have fit for the Sasuke Retrieval arc.

 

4. "Moshimo"- Daisuke

There's something about this one that I just love. I'm not sure what exactly it is about it. Maybe it's the animation, with stuff like that Minato vs Ay and Gaara remembering his past. The song's really good, too. Point is, I really like the song.

The Gokage Summit arc... This one was an arc that was incredibly action-packed. This opening fit perfectly. It also had a bit of an emotional feeling to it, which fit, since it's when Team 7 was finally reunited, and Gaara had to fight Sasuke.

This was the first opening I ever remember seeing. After all, my first episode I saw all the way through was episode 101, which used this opening. This one's incredibly nostalgic, the animation is incredibly well done, and the song pumps you up for the show. This one fits part 1 perfectly, even more than Re:member. This is a close second for me.

My all-time favorite, "Sign". My favorite arc is the one featuring Jiraiya vs Pain and Sasuke vs Itachi, and those are also my favorite fights. It all ties together quite nicely. The animation for this opening is absolutely brilliant. It looks great, it's fluid, and the Sasuke vs Itachi segment shows the anger that Sasuke's been holding towards his brother for years. The Jiraiya vs Pain part of it also felt intense, giving us the sense of wonder watching Jiraiya battle an unknown opponent. The hint towards the sad ending was also well done. The song wraps it up nicely, with a feeling of intensity that none of the other openings had. This one's my favorite hands-down.

 

 

So, that's it. I could do an ending one if people want me to... ._.

This new page made me realize that Guy was already in an Inner gate state, i was wondering why that aura was around him, i couldn't tell in the actual manga. So that's how he was able to get to kakashi fast enough to save him. It all makes sense now.

This new page made me realize that Guy was already in an Inner gate state, i was wondering why that aura was around him, i couldn't tell in the actual manga. So that's how he was able to get to kakashi fast enough to save him. It all makes sense now.

We know for a fact he's at the very least in the 3rd gate, since his skin has reddened and an aura has appeared around him. My best guess is that he's in the 5th or 6th state ATM. More likely 5th, so he doesn't use up all his energy so fast. Question is, WHERE ARE TENTEN AND LEE?

Agreed, im sure Obitos death is set in stone now, Black zetsu(or black guy, as Racist Gaara calls him) is the only thing keeping Obito from dying from that jutsu.
