Im going to need some explanations on the KH x chi story cuz I never touched that.

Who are the fortellers? What are their jobs? How are they different from keyblade wielders?

How long ago did the story take place? Where they not mentioned in the other titles because something happened to them?

Ive heard talk on this site that there is a traitor. Who is it and how do we know there is one?

Whos the chill dude in the organization outfit?

How can this prequel story affect KHIII? In that regard is it required for me to watch the chi movie in the next bundle?

A lot of those questions should be answered in Back Cover. I used to play Unchained Chi, but it really drags on for no reason. More filler missions than story missions.

The foretellers are Keyblade Masters. The Master of Masters, also a Keyblade Master, had 6 apprentices. 5 of them are the foretellers, the sixth one is Luxu. The Master of Masters (MoM) gave each of the foretellers a tome of the book of prophecies, with which they learned that an event that will doom the world will happen.

That's why they created their unions, where keyblade wielders have to gather lux/light, in order to defeat the darkness.

Dunno when the story takes place, probably at least 100 years before BbS. Also no one knows what happened to them, but they're apparently the "Lost Masters" Xehanort mentioned in the KH3 trailer.

One of the pages (later referred to as the "Lost Page") of the book of prophecies talks about a traitor. But it's not clear yet why that person is a traitor.

There are 2 guys in the Org coats. Luxu and the MoM.

You should definitely watch it to grasp the whole story of KH3. The lines Xehanort said in the KH3 trailer are related to Chi, and I assume it will play a bigger role there. Also not sure if you remember that, but in Re:coded Maleficent mentions the Book of Prophecies.
