Tank controls are part of the beauty but the remake added modern controls too

 

Tank controls were in RE1-RE3 and Code Veronica too probably, old school horror on many levels

The remake also removed that corny ass live action intro, and the meme classic "Jill Sandwich" line

The novel actually had a seriously depressing backstory: Two little girls Jill met looking for a lost kitten are found torn apart, and she blames herself for not going with them into Racoon Woods. 

 

They don't even get to the mansion til chapter 4.

This game is pretty good and on easy it's def easy

 

The archer class really is made up of archers and people die when they are killed

As long as it's spoopy owo

The only times I got scared aside from jump scares would be when fighting a boss and having to reload or get away from a boss and I got frustrated enough to start neppin cursing

Sounds difficult

Looking forward to playing it

One day

Just that being confronted with an enemy in a horror game where your combat options are less than ideal

 

The whole situation and stress of it is what causes the frustration

 

Otherwise especially on easy plus having a guard button I actually use for once in a video game it's pretty doable

 

But for real now that I think about it this is the first game where I regularly use the guard button
