basically someone F'd up the translation. its "people did if they are killed all over again"

I literally saw that today, and how people compared it to "people die when they are killed"

 

Shirou's context made sense though, since he meant that even if Archer was correct that he'd become Archer, it didn't mean he was right, since following your ideals is important. Deen's quote was just him in derp response to people dying if he didn't join the war.

 

 

So I just killed taurus boss, got 3,000. I could literally quote Kaneki right now.

The people die if they are killed is actually "People die if you hurt them (baddly)" too.
