There was one episode where Arthur's sister kept cursing and adults would act shocked and drop stuff

 

So I decided to test it out when my Dad came to pick me up

 

He didn't drop nothing he just told me not to do that

Arthur and A Christmas Story just taught me what the reactions would be and I got curious

regarding that Arthur clip: I SO REMEMBER THAT!!!!!! Really, you know, when you think about it, almost every kids show you've ever watched had that one episode where they addressed bad language.
