I played the Order and saw my friend playing The Witcher.

 

The guy on the store said the Evil Within was crap.

 

I still wanted him to get Drakengard and Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborn tho.

Evil Within is just one of those games that isn't meant for everybody. Some will absolutely love it while others...not so much. If you like Resident Evil 4 & psychological weirdness it's totally the game for you.

Ralts you have the evil within?

I do not. I did have it on preorder, but then my instincts changed and I went with Alien: Isolation instead. I felt that I would probably enjoy it more, but I would still love to get Evil Within some time.

I got through the first chapter and a half fairly easily, it's not bad by any means it just didn't really hook me

Ahh I see. It looks like a fairly interesting game to me. Probably not as great as something like Resident Evil 4, but i'd be willing to play it.

Also the running mechanic oh my goodness!

 

As my friend who owns the game put it, "he has the running stamina of an asthmatic infant"
