The Crooked Man could be awesome or sh@t: it's supposedly based on the RPG maker game. 

Candle Cove's going to be stupid: the creepypasta was stupid, and a tv anthology won't help it.

Crooked Man is actually a Mother Goose poem: I don't know why it's suddenly become a figure of horror. 

It might, or might not: the last big fantasy/horror set Syfy did was Black Forest and Witchslayer Gretel, and those were both awful. Maybe Crooked Man will be decent.

Yeah Syfy can have some pretty crappy films sometimes

Or just do tie ins to trick people into watching, like Flying Monkeys, which named dropped Gale and Oz, and was just an average monster flick with wooden leads.

But they wanted people to be fooled, so the DVD is emerald green with a tornado. Cause why not?

But some Syfy's are good, in a good/bad sort of way. Then there's bull like Red: Werewolf Hunter, Black Forest, and Scarecrow that just sum up the word "crap".

And the odd weird one, that seems terrible, but is actually good and funny, like Hansel and Gretel and the 420 Witch, that was actually a decent parody.

And easily the worst Syfy's I've seen were The Hollow, Red Clover, Black Forest, and Flying monkeys. 

Black Forest really pissed me off for both ripping off OUAT, and f@cking up what could've been a dumb but watchable idea.

My grandma has always watched the Syfy channel and all, and so when I was a kid that's basically quite a bit of what I watched since that's what was on. So I used to watch a literal ton of that Syfy cheesefest. Not too much my thing these days since i've seen so much of it. Dx I don't mind occasionaly watching some cheese though, like Kung Fury. Lmao.

They don't make anything good anymore. Everything's phoned in gore, and bad effects. 

Asylum, weirdly, has improved a lot Hell, some of their fantasy horror movies are actually really decent. Not Oscar worthy, but good for what they are.

I find things i know nothing about scare me the most. Take slenderman for example. Hes an enigma. You dont know what he is or why hes chasing you. Because of that the mind fills your expectations with worst case scenarios and makes it scarer. Humans fear what they dont understand.
