It was supposed to be a story that switched between four princes for each season, and four men going to a cabin for a weekend, two brothers, two lovers.Summer murders Winter in the fairy tale, and dies after of his shame and guilt, matching the two lovers killing each other in a wild, drunken accident. It fell apart from there, and doesn't feel worth completing.

Well, what do you think would work better? Got any ideas? Because up until that certain point where you said it fell apart, it seemed pretty rad.

 

Errrr it would be spoilery to specifically say so. Let's just say it has to do with seasons.

It fell apart with both the fairy tale crossing over, and the lovers: I didn't know where to go from there, and then felt like making them lovers wasn't a good idea at all, and maybe turn the whole thing into just the fairy tale idea?

Then RWBY took an idea from Hallmark's The Snow Queen: it had four women for each season, which was the idea I used, just changed from the original. 

i thought each girl in RWBY was a fairy tale character, not a season? 

It fell apart with both the fairy tale crossing over, and the lovers: I didn't know where to go from there, and then felt like making them lovers wasn't a good idea at all, and maybe turn the whole thing into just the fairy tale idea?

Might be. It seemed like a decent plot, until I started actually writing

 

I didn't think so...because I know I read Blake is Beauty, Weiss is Snow White, Ruby is Red riding Hood, and Yang is Cinderella
