There was nothing but silence for a good while, the sea rocking the room from time to time, the pounding rain like a jackhammer on the tin roof. The promise of coffee fell through, once I saw how filthy the machine and pot were. The woman just stared, clearly out of it: why she was covered in blood, or who's it was, I didn't know. I didn't want to know.

"Bad storm, huh?" I tried, hoping to see some sort of reaction.

Nothing. Just staring blankly out at the sea, guiding the boat along. She seemed to know what she was doing, though, so I dared to close my eyes, falling alseep for a good while.

I woke to a knife blade pointed at my left eyeball. The woman leered at me.

 

 

Looks like Duckle Stan left to go steal some more wax figures
