Creating your own character is like the whole mainstream gaming thing that people really like these days. And I appreciate it too. So if they found a way for it to make sense to have your own character then hell yeah. Besides they did say it was only being considered.

 

And yeah it's pretty usual. But the roadmap they have planned out sounds really great. o: And i'm glad they plan to support the game for a long while. Plus usually devs don't give a full roadmap of what they're planning, they just do and give news about it as they go along from what i've seen. So it's great that they have a lot of plans and know what they're doing at this point.

Also... I guess adjusting things to increase "satisfaction" is a good thing, since it means they're listening to feedback, but isn't that what you try to figure out when you're having the game playtested? (EDIT: I guess for testing you can't gauge how everyone will respond to things so myeh.) Also it feels weird for them to be saying they'll add things like NG+ after the game is released, as if the devs woke up a few days after the game came out and realized they had forgotten it

Same thing happened with The Witcher 3 believe it or not. NG+ ended up being their final free dlc because alotttttt of people wanted it. But, sometimes things playtesters like, don't end up doing so well with a larger audience with a lot of games, so things always end up being changed up and enhanced or even added to. Or sometimes it's just realized after the game goes gold and it has to be an after release addition. 

 

Especially in big games like Skyrim, Witcher 3, and such stuff like this is very normal. It's just how the devs work with the games these days. Which if you think about it isn't bad at all, back in ye olde times they couldn't update a game to player satisfaction. They just took in all the critique and used it on their future products. (If they were good devs at least)
