recently i started 2 new game on KH1.5: the first one is pround mode lv1 and the other is beginner mode (wanted to do one without doing the playrun and wanted starting a new game just so)

anyway the fact is in the first one is hard find a single potion, meanwhile in the other i find more potion and other object.... so the difficult  can be on some influence about the drop rate or is just pure coincidence?   

PS: counting in both games i haven't the skill that increase the item's drop rate.

Its probably a coincidence because I played through every single mode (for the trophies) and theres really no difference betwen the three as far as im.concerned

that's my though too... but the different is about 20 or more potion   ok, in lv1 challange i fight i little less, but even in begin i don't fight so much

so a 5% can be?   or like it seems like in that play i have a really bad luck..... maybe 'cause the potion can be more useful then the usual?

As far as I remember, in Proud Mode it's harder to farm items, that's why I always go for the shield and give up the sword to get Lucky Strike fast

so (maybe) is not only me i usual go with shield for more HP, DEF and support ability.... but you know.... lv1 ---> no get skills ---> no lucky strike --> no cigs

Well if you are going for a Lv1 run, then you're gonna have a hard time while farming for items

 

You can always farm for munny, and buy Potions

 yeah is a pain... but thunder can help   i finished wonderland.... now i have to fight sabor (heck the dude is quite agility ) and do the preliminary at the coliseum (i try one time in haste, lost at the second match LOL)

It's best if you go for Deep Jungle first, to get Jungle King and Cure

 

But like I said, try to get munny to get Potions if you don't have Cure yet

that's the idea... sabor is quite a dextrery dude (one time it kill me in 5 sec: distracted hit me once time ones started the fight, and another while i was about to use a potion) and clayton/lizard dude is tough too.

so for short i buy some potion and after that maybe i get some potion by fighting (and then i throw the pad at the TV )

And that's the beauty of Proud Mode in my opinion, it makes you think and strategize for each battle, you just can't mash buttons or else you'll die

yup, even worst in lv1 challenge an error and your haf dead (while you start having an headache for the low life siren sound) a second and bye bye
