Sophie uses the power of her Keyblade to trap Somnus and Sin, right before Ven gets to them. "Well, if we can't destroy 'em, we can trap 'em."

Laura teleported back to Destiny Islands and from a distance watched them

Sonus broke free easily. From the tear in the sky, a giant beast made of light and covered in armor came out. "This is the Creator of the Keyblade and he is not pleased." Somnus said.
