liamaru 294 Posted October 20, 2014 (edited) sora is my absolute favorite character/protagonist of all time of any franchise, in my eyes sora is the perfect definition of how a good protagonist is suppose to be. 1. kingdom hearts II sora is my absolute favorite sora and here's why in kh2 sora is more mature then he was in kh1 being 15 and all but still retains his fun loving naive and selfless personality. on the surface sora may seams like he can forgive someone no matter what they've done in the past but in kh2 sora can be quite merciless and not think twice about it prime examples of this can be seen when sora kills saix , demyx , luxord and destroys xemnas and feels no guilt whatsoever. also sora's fighting style has gone from the balanced , mildly sloppy fighter who just swings his keyblade around gaining experience from every fight to a more samurai/swordsman like feel to his style. now i know some of you guys may think sora is a little dumb in kh2, but that's only because sora is incomplete because half of sora's experience and skill were with roxas and he has been asleep for a year. 2. kingdom hearts re: coded sora even though he's just a copy he's still sora and i have to say he's by far my second favorite sora he feels more mature then his kh1 counterpart and has a somewhat samurai style to him but not at all near the level of kh2's sora. sora seems more experienced with combat then he was in kh1 it feels as if he's had some sort of formal training even though he has not. sora also seems to think things through with friends before he acts and appears to be overall smarter then all of the previous sora's it's true O.o also sora isn't as naive as the "real world" sora this sora knows who to trust and who not to trust i won't say anymore for penitential *SPOILERS* but this sora is extremely likable. 3. kingdom hearts : COM sora is DEFINITELY one of my favorite sora's i hear many people criticize how sora acted in this game and in rather unhappy about it sora was angry for many reason's first off COM takes place 1 day after defeating ansem sora , doland and gooby chase pluto when they see the letter he's carrying until night time they decide to camp out but sora can't sleep because he's worried about his friends then marluxia lures sora to caste oblivion, sora is most likely exhausted from lack of rest as is then namine screws with his head erasing his memories and added fake one's of course anyone would be confused then she made it seem as if she was the center of sora's world even more so then kairi "need proof? did sora rush doland and gooby an yell at them in kh 1? no , no he didn't " which naturally made sora angry knowing that she was being held captive only to find that everything was a lie? of course he acted the way he did he's a 14 year od kid who lost his memories been lied to and doesn't know what's real anymore on top of having hours without rest so it's all understandable. 4. kingdom hearts sora was a real treat sora had just began his journey he was inexperienced 14 year old but that didn't stop him from being a hero and saving the worlds he wasn't dumb he wasn't too serious or to tense he was perfectly balanced he was mature in his own way and knew when to get serious, he helped anyone in need he was competitive a little cocky but not too much he taught himself how to fight he was a role model protagonist with nothing to hate about him.......exept for the fact that he wasn't too worried about kairi's safety and just mearly missed her compony unlike riku who sacrificed everything to get her back while sora did little to nothing to really save her exept keep her heart safe (unknowingly) look for her while saving other worlds but i suppose he did what he could. 5. kingdom hearts bbs sora was adorable and had good swordsmanship for a 4 year old but sadly he was unfairly overlooked by terra and aqua this is when he got ven's heart and a year before he met kairi. 6. kingdom hearts ddd sora......was an Idiot and didn't really feel much like sora, sora is still 15 during ddd but reverts back to his 14 year old self but 14 year old sora wasn't stupid and it's hard for me to understand why sora's personality so...so off like he didn't take the exam seriously he was over confidant sloopy, slow and ignorant. i've tried to come up with an answer but i can't fathom why he was so poorly written in dd other then to differentiate sora and riku also how could sora beat xemnas if he reverted to kh 1 sora?
