Axel or Lea whichever name you prefer, has been through so much suffering. The events of 358/2 Days made me realize what Axel has been through leading up to KHII, which was unclear at the time (KHII: 2005, 358/2: 2009). He always pulls through for his friends even if they don't do the same for him. He's cool and collected until someone he loves hurts him or gets hurt. That's really what Axel is all about. 

  He fought Xion just so she wouldn't find out the truth and go back to Sora. He battled Roxas only because he felt hurt or even betrayed in the sense that Roxas left him in the Organization days. Or perhaps Axel wanted to ignite a spark within Roxas to get him to remember, WHICH WORKED! And I can't help but feel Axel will befriend Sora and Riku just as he has with Roxas. 

  He was never actually a villain. Yes he was in the Organization but was there really a choice? Either be part of that or become a Dusk? Which would you choose? Also in CoM, he fought Marluxia and the loyalists (as I call them) and let Namine' escape. He worked to dismantle the Organization from the beginning. 

  He also has my favorite type of element as a weapon: fire. Mix that with his chakrams and it's a deadly combination. 

 

  He can be a worthy wielder of the Keyblade if given the chance. Axel's character development along with Riku are the best in the series, in my opinion. I look forward to seeing him progress even more from being a low ranking Organization to a Keyblade Master in KHIII.

Uhhhhh....that pairing doesn't even work. It's not like Axel/Roxas, Sora/Riku, Ventus/Vanitas or anything like those ones which actually seem to make a lot of sense. But...Axel/Demyx? Not seeing it. At all.

He always pulls through for his friends even if they don't do the same for him. He's cool and collected until someone he loves hurts him or gets hurt. That's really what Terra is all about. 

  He fought Xehanort to protect his friends. He argued Aqua and Ventus only because he felt hurt or even betrayed. Or perhaps Terra wanted to ignite a spark within Ventus to get him to remember, WHICH WORKED! And I can't help but feel Terra will befriend Sora and Riku just as he has with Aqua and Ventus. 

  He was never actually a villain. Yes he was possessed by Xehanort but was there really a choice? Either be part of that or give in to the darkness? Which would you choose? Also in BBS, he fought Maleficent and the loyalists (as I call them) and gave Riku a his keyblade. He worked to dismantle the Xehanort's plans from the beginning. 

  He also has my favorite type of element as a weapon: fire. Mix that with his chakrams and it's a deadly combination.

Xion the person is not a "he". She may be the memories of Sora, but her form is not Sora. 

Terra wasn't in KH2, that's his lingering spirit. 

Axel is a rebel and I don't believe he wanted to conform to the Organization's code. He really wanted a heart though. We could find out more about that in KH3. We'll have to wait and see
