Roxas and Axel goodbyes - New Cutscene(in english)

Posted

So, if you go to 21:36 you'll see them saying their goodbyes and hwo detailed their faces are... the red eyes, the tears... everything! D:

But I wonder, when does this happens? Didn't Roxas "vanished" to Sora when he discovered everything?... How did he find a way to meet up with Axel one last time? And why does Roxas's voice sounds so bad...?

Some of those scenes were used in Days.

The video isn't appearing. But I know what you're talking about. This isn't something they both did physically, they were both going back to their original selves, so it was more like their hearts were connecting one last time. I know, it's really sad though. :(

Er, can I get a link or...?

Here you go:

...it happened exactly when you see it, it's not a flashback (I don't know how people seem to come to this conclusion!). And the Dive to the Heart has all sorts of weird metaphysical shit attached to it, a "meeting of hearts/spirits/whatever" isn't exactly unreasonable in context. A reasonable comparison might be Deathly Hallows Chapter 35.

Also, reading all those YT comments is draining my IQ.

Well, some parts of that cutscene showed up in Days a few days after Xion deserted.

That was a completely different cutscene. Unless you're talking about the opening sequence? That was taken from the original PS2 version of this scene.
