I'm one of those guys buying a PSP for BBS, and trying to decide on what to do it nuts!

 

BBS comes out Tuesday.

Wednesday in my first day of school.

 

I want to spend some good time Tuesday playing BBS before the chaos of High School starts, but what should I do?

 

Option 1-Gamestop Bundle

Total-$200 (PSP,BBS,MovieVoucher,MemoryCard) + shipping

Pros: I like the silver color

Cheapest

Cons:Isn't assured to arrive Tuesday (grrrr)

Shipping cost

What if it doesn't come with the decals?

 

Option 2-Mix it up

Total-$215 Gamestop PSP ($150 instore pickup), BBS ($40 Best Buy Preorder), Memory Card ($25 instore pickup w/PSP)

Pros:Can easily get the first day the game is out

No shipping

Decals guarenteed

Cons:More expensive

Hesitant about black PSP

No movie voucher and smaller memory card

 

Any other ideas, suggestions? The decals are a real deal breaker; if the bundle doesn't come with them, I'm not getting it.

 

Anyone else having trouble deciding? Already decided? In a similar boat as me? Looking forward to the day before school, but not the next day?

The cheapest method is to get a PSP 1000 with a 1 GB previously used memory card. It's 135 dollars before tax in total for that and BBS.

I'm planing to buy the bundle, but I'm hoping I can make a deal with the chashier and they can sell me the BbS case and booklet to go with the UMD. And as for the decals...I have no idea if you can obtain it if you buy the bundle, I'm hoping you can...because you're still technically buying the game. I wanted to buy a PSP-3000 and am against buying used systems or games. Good idea about the memory card though, I may look into that...

yeah, last time it was a 10% bonus, so if it's $20's like last time you get $2 off

yeah im considering just getting a used psp now since i probably wont earn enough money to preorder it before it comes out, ugh, why does it have to be so hard to earn money these days

I was considering getting a used one, but I never spend my money anyway. I've still got my birthday money from since I was six. This'll be my exception. My bro said that he'd buy me the book if I let him play BBS while I'm at school.

Well a new PSP 1000 is only an extra 20 bucks at max. Still much cheaper than the rest by far. Also, the 3000 is only really useful if you plan on using it for a lot of media, otherwise the extra 50 bucks probably isn't such a good idea.
