*sigh* Me watching .hack//sign just made me realize how much I miss the OLD Cartoon Network. I used to stay up late just to watch DBZ, Gundam, YuYu Hakasho, .hack//sign, all of those great animes. And then, I would fight sleep to watch the Adult Swim animes, like Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, Case Closed, Trigun, and several memorable others. And then Friday nights, I would stay up JUST to watch .hack// Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. Back when CN had the most awesome bumpers ever. Anybody else remember these days, and have any shows to add to this list?

I remember those days! Man, those were good times. Also remember Ruroni Kenshin on Toonami, Pronce of Tennis(it makes me laugh), .hack//roots and some others that I forgot.

Oh man, Ruroni Kenshin, I remember that one too. I never got to watch Prince of Tennis, but it looked cool.

ohhh i rember all of thos show's emo is talkign about and i miss watching gundam everday as soon as i got oout of school all thos show's where soo great oh hand teh old aduilt swim had this anime show not ment for kid's it was really crazy and missed up and had alot of blood and gut's and robot's that where really ailn's that peoply got in and fout in and would get eaten in and when that thng got control of its body and knocked the boy out it was soo scarey to me becous i was like 4 or 5 looking at that i meen it just eat the other ail's like they where shrip it was cool but now i cant rember the name of it

Speaking of old shows, does anyone remember Oh Yeah! Cartoons or Kablam!? (yeah I know it's Nickelodeon, but still) It feels like such a long time ago...

Reversal, nostalgia isn't enough to explain how good it felt to watch those cartoons, late at night. It made me happy, it made me never want to grow up. But they took those away, and now, I'm 15 lmao. Time moves by fast when memories are taken away from you.

 

Darklunatic, Tom and Jerry is one of the best shows of all time. Look on Boomerang, you can watch it there.

CN is at least beginning to improve. All they need to do is stop trying to get Unnatural History to succeed. It's an absolute failure (reruns of Ed Edd n Eddy and Garfield get better ratings than NEW EPISODES of Unnatural Shit) and give up on Tower Prep.

 

Imagine yourself when you were say, 8. Would you want to watch an hour-long drama, or cartoons?

 

 

CN has some great-looking shows coming up, like Sym-Bionic Titan and Looney Tunes Show, as well as a MADTV cartoon.

 

 

As for Adult Swim, for some reason next month they're replacing Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell with even more repeats of King of the Hill and Boondocks. Why? They're aired enough already. And I was just getting into GiTS and Cowboy Bebop.

Well, if Soul Eater ends up being the third acquired anime, I'll be able to live with that.

 

 

And if there's one CN show that deserves a revival, it's Megas XLR.

Eh, they should just get rid of KOTH. The series has ended, and they've played it out. It's one of the only shows that has more than 10 seasons that I have watched EVERY SINGLED EPISODE OF. Cowboy Bebop and GITS are too good to get booted. And I agree with you on the Megas part, I never got to watch the finale

I know its not an American cartoon but I loved Outlaw Star

Outlaw Star seems like it was a pretty cool series, but I never got to watch it. I've heard overall good results about it, and I remember seeing promos for it on CN for Toonami.
