I finally got around to watching Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and I honestly thought it was amazing. It reminded me why I love Dragon Ball Z. Some people had issues with the ending being anti climatic but I thought it was fine as it leaves the door open for multiple sequels in the story. I literally have no complaints. I loved it. I believe this is the best Dragon Ball movie ever. And I can't wait to see what's next in this franchise. If I was to rate this movie I'd give it a 9.5.

Yeah I agree it felt like a mixture of everything great about the old school DragonBall series and DBZ.

And I hear they're making a sequel so that's awesome, I've just recently bought it on dvd with the 20+ minutes of extra footage added in, I've yet to watch it dubbed so that'll be a new experience.

Plus if I heard correctly Toriyama made it just to go out of his way to get people's minds off of DB: Evolution? xDD

Goku losing in the end is best thing about the movie.

Specially when we are talking about a shounen, where the bad guys always loses in the end,

Before the movie was released, haters were joking that the villain would be between by a kamehameha or spirit bomb. The villain turns out to be an awesome character and nobody beat him in the end. Toriyama just gave them a middle finger.

One of the Best DBZ no doubt. And the extended version just make him more awesome

The movie only isn't perfect because should have more action.

Cant wait for another epicness next year.

Yeah, it was a good film.

It was hilarious when Trunks calls Mai his "main squeeze"
