Posted November 20, 201410 yr I'm kinda sad that it's not multi-cultual like the manga/anime. 7 out of the 13 characters are original for the movie. Go OOO!
November 20, 201410 yr I can't wait until this movie comes out even though the some of the characters don't look like the ones from the manga, which I can understand.
November 20, 201410 yr B-but, where's Levi in this equation? D: And Armin is nothing like in the anime! I will agree that the actress playing Mikasa is gorgeous though. But still, where's Levi!!!??? D:

November 20, 201410 yr They're not multi-cultual. They're all Japanese for the movie http://youtu.be/WWaLxFIVX1s&autoplay=1 But the multi-cultural characters added so much flavor to the anime! Oh well, but I shouldn't be expecting accurate portrayals of the characters, since live action movie adaptions are always different. Still, I like the costume designs, they look sick! November 20, 201410 yr So wait. Am I seriously supposed to buy that a Japanese kid is playing a dude named Eren Jeager? Through all that fake photoshopped lens flare to boot? This has disaster written all over it so much it's not even funny. Its only salvation might be a five-drop rating on Badmovies.org Edited November 20, 201410 yr by John Casey

It's hard to learn a language and keep a conversation.

You say that, and yet South Korea made this little masterpiece. With only a budget of 40 mil. It can be done, if they put in the effort. This just reeks of half-assed cash-in.
November 20, 201410 yr Author You say that, and yet South Korea made this little masterpiece. With only a budget of 40 mil. It can be done, if they put in the effort. This just reeks of half-assed cash-in. And that was released worldwide for everyone to view. If it's being shown worldwide then it's most likely be in English. This Attack on Titan movie is made for the Japanese audience so it was highly likely to make the movie with a Japanese only cast. Also, a trailer hasn't been shown, this is just showing posters of the characters. Also different countries might have different budget to spend. Even with a small budget & equipment, you make huge hit. Look at The Blair Witch Project: a budget of $60,000 and grossed $249 million or Deep Throat with a budget of $22,500 and grossed $600 million.
November 21, 201410 yr And that was released worldwide for everyone to view. Yeah. After an entire year following its release in South Korea. Edited November 21, 201410 yr by John Casey
November 21, 201410 yr Author Yeah. After an entire year following its release in South Korea. It still released outside of South Korea. And maybe when the movie came out over there it was made in English but had Korean subtitles. The point that I'm trying to say is don't judge the movie until we get some official footage or see it for yourself. We don't know what places they're going to be in, what animation for the Titans' going to be like. All we have so far are the character posters who will be in the movie and that one car commercial with the Titans(but it's kinda old so they might upgrade the quality of the Titans).
November 25, 201410 yr That's because it's being made in Japan, a lot less cultural diversity there, especially when it comes to actors. Also because of this, don;t expect Hollywood level special effects. think more Power Rangers. (or rather, Super Sentai I guess)
