Should I give up on The Walking Dead?

Posted

This contains SPOILERS of the latest episode.

I've been fan of these series for nearly 5 years... and for what? To see my favourite character die and never be mentioned again?! Yesterday was the last drop! I can't believe they killed an character that had such high hopes for the future!

I hate that the many of the people who watch this show that I know don't give two shits about the characters.

This show has made me cry so much that I no longer have tears for it... I can see that this show's gonna end with EVERYONE dead...

Sophia?! D:

Unfortunately, the people who you think dun give two shits actually cared more than you'd believe. They actually understood what was going on and Beth did what she did. Why it had to be her to go.

ill still watch it only cuz i like the show but i was super sad and all my friends were after this episode

I gave up on it when they started killing each other instead of the zombies. It's all so pointless.

Hey, people die all the time and it's not a reason for others to give up on life

I'm into game of thrones, no death that was not caused by GG Martin can surprise me anymore.

Oh dear God, Sophia -.-

Don't give up on it! Characters need to die no matter what. We all die eventually anyway. This is the zombie apocalypse, so sadly everyone we love will most likely die. Don't stop watching the show because of it. Plus, you always got Daryll and the other characters. At least Beth didnt died for a reason.

Also, I don't think you should have RIP Beth as your signature... It might spoil some people.

They don't care for the characters and only watch the show for zombie killings. Most of them do.

I think her death was one of the most tragics out there.

That's nowhere near true. The show is way beyond zombie killing action. Everyone's wanting to know what the group will do next. They get pissed off when someone does something wrong, or cry a lot when a character dies and holds a huge impact on the group. For example, Beth's death made two men who have been pulling hard for the group, lose their way. These two men cried for the first time in such a long time. Those two were Rick and Daryl, the strongest, most reliable men among the group. Most of these people have read the comic book series before watching the show. I know my brother read the comics to a possible further point than this. You can't read a book for the zombie killing. These people also bought the Telltale games series. Are they talking about the zombie killing? No, they're talking about how bad they feel each time Clementine loses someone she cares about. The story and characters are always important. The Walking Dead has good writing to the most of it and fans aren't happy with this outcome, they're sad, enraged, at a loss, all because a major character has died and her impact on the group was too heavy for even the actors themselves to bear it.

The Walking Dead has always been and always will be a drama series. It's about the characters and how they adapt to survive in this world, even if it means they have to kill or be killed. Don't you ever tell me the huge fan following is there for the zombies, because they're not and never will be.

Still hoping for the day Maggie & Glen have a daughter that they could name Beth.
