Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has been officially announced, and it looks like it's going to cover the last section of the Naruto story, as referenced by the images of Naruto and Sasuke in their Six Paths modes. Not only that, but Naruto's look from "The Last" is on the scan too, saying that he'll be in the game, which is pretty much confirmation that "The Last" will probably be a crucial part of the story mode as well. There is also confirmation that a demo will be playable by the time that Jump Festa 2015 comes around. This is all the information present.

 

So yeah: Ninja Storm on current-generation consoles... I'dbelyingifIsaidIwasn'tthetiniestbithyped.

A new (translated) scan confirms that Kaguya will have a unique item system that allows her to change the battle stage by switching between different dimensions by use of the directional buttons as opposed to normal items.

Some new screenshots from the game released, detailing in-game images of Kaguya as well as a render of her alongside a brand new render of Sakura using her 100 Healings technique.

ShoneGameZ.com has translated a new scan for the game in a recent issue of V-Jump.

 

Nothing much that's new, just some re-cap on new features and some more exposure for Kaguya and Sakura's new moveset.

Gamescom trailer gives Western release 2-9-16

I just want to say that I apologize for not being as speedy as I usual am with updates.

 

Now, for an actual update. In fact, two of them:

 

First off, YouTubers wajinshu, ShikasClouds, and Rhymestyle have uploaded official gameplay footage for Storm 4 taken from this year's Gamescon.

 

Second, a new scan from WSJ was translated by ShonenGameZ.com and in this article, there will be parts of the story mode that take place in Sasuke's POV, opposite to the normal POV which is, of course, Naruto. What this confirms exactly in terms of battles is still vague at the moment.

Indeed... I'm still trying to get over it. I was upset about missing out on Naruto's Goku costume back in Storm 3, but it's way worse when I might miss out on two playable characters just because I didn't get a game day one.

This is of course the version of Kakashi that received Mangekyo Sharingan in both eyes and used Perfect Susanoo to aid in the fight against Kaguya.

ShonenGameZ.com translated a new scan. It revealed that Kakashi and Obito will have a Team Ultimate Jutsu called "Tsu No Kamui", along with some shots of them fighting against Madara in the game's story mode.

Same here, but I was hoping that Namco would realize how dumb the pre-order decision was.

I hope to get a PC before this game comes out. I'll preorder for the DLC I guess, but it depends on whether or not the PC comes as to which platform I'm buying for.

"The Last" characters aren't a big deal. Those are early access, meaning that they're still on disc, you'll just have to unlock them at a later time whereas if you pre-ordered, then they would available right from the jump.

Wouldn't be the first time Namco made full playable characters pre-order exclusive, sadly. I'm pretty sure this will be the only way to get them, meaning I'll have a PS4 game collecting dust on a shelf for six months to a couple years while I wait to get the system.

I think this preorder thing is blown a little out of proportion. Sure, it sucks; you can't play as a couple characters. But I guarantee, as in Smash Bros and most other fighting games, that there will be maybe three or four characters you play as the most, out of an already huge roster if all of Storm 3's cast is coming back. I don't think it's that big a deal, it's marketing to ensure that your game stays popular and you have guaranteed sales day-one. And to be honest, the PS4 has been out for some time now and is easily accessible to everyone, therefore it'd be natural for CC and Bandai to market towards the haves rather than the have nots.

You don't get it, man. I play as everybody. Not even for online, just when I want to fool around with the CPU. And knowing that my roster is incomplete because I didn't slap down some money at the right time is just not right. Why should I be punished because I got the game through other means?
