A crisp morning, that December was. A cold, average day. quiet, at least until twelve PM. That, of course, was the opening hour of Mainstreed, the Questboards, and the Cherrywood Bar and Wood fire Pizza restaurant, a well-known hang out spot of a specific low-grade monster-bashing team, as well as where we find said team blacked out, on the floor, like usual.

 

NeverBetter awoke with a grunt, coughing up a ball of hair, he tried to recall last night's events. "That's the last time I let Yuffie get my drinks... I think I bit a chunk out of Silver's hair again..." He sighed picking himself up off the ground, he looked around at the rest of his drunken and sleeping team.

 

"All of you, get up, please!" NeverBetter called to his teammates.

"Damn. i liked that guy too." kevin rubbed his head. "Whelp, should we check the board?"

"But of course, but I want most of our team there with us to decide on the mission firdt." NeverBetter replied. "But I swear... they're like bacteria who have their mitochondria malfunctioning..."

"Well, we could go wake them up. i dont know were anybody is, but i woke up in my bed, so we could just go check the rooms above the bar."

"Assassinations." Soul replied, feeling quite stealthy today. Loading up his guns, he smirked.

"They are all up, but they ain't doing much." NeverBetter replied, until Soul showed up. "Hey lover boy, how's the taste of heartbreak for the umpteenth time today feel?" NeverBetter joked.

"I have a bf and gf now, for your information." Soul retorted cheekily. "My only regret was not being able to steal Yuffie's shirt." He cringed at the dream he had last night.

Kev woke up in his bed. "Where.....what.........what the hell......." the last thing he remembered was fighting in a mech with nort. "Ehh. stranger things have happened in this guild." He stood up, put on some fresh clothes and his sword, and staggered out looking for his friends. he noticed Never and Nort walking down the street. He walked up. "Sup guys. what'd i miss, can you fill me in? last thing i remember was fighting in the mech with nort." he paused for a moment. "Speaking of nort, do you have a muffin? non-alcoholic plz. im hungry."

(i read the thing about the cycle with more serious days and crazy nights.) 

"Oh, so we had a shared hallucination. Weird," muttered Nortanort. "Yeah, I have a few muffins," he replied to Guide's question. He tossed Guide a Blueberry Muffin, a smile of his face. "Anyway, it's my CUPCAKES that you have to watch out for. They'll bite ya," he half-joked. He took a muffin out of his own pocket and started munching on it. He looked over at Soul, after he appeared. "Assassinations? Yeah, me and Clarice aren't exactly cut out for that. But I'll give it a shot anyway," he said. He looked over at NeverBetter, and said, pulling out an air-horn, "I have this, and I'm quite willing to use it," with an evil smirk upon his face. 

"Let's go catch up with NeverBetter Silver." Neko said, yawning.

She then looked at Silver, sincerity in her eyes.

"Carry me?" She asked, her ears flickering and tail curling, trying to be as kawaii as firetruck.

"We can hold hands." Silver told her curtly, "I think everyone is already well aware of us. No need to really show it off."

With that, he gently held her hands within his, and the two of them quickly went to Neverbetter, "Yo! So, we're doing an assassination, then, eh?" Silver asked, smirking a bit, "Sounds like fun."

Neko's tail sunk to the ground and her ears went down.

"Meanie." She muttered, then they arrived to Neverbetter.

"I don't wanna kill anyone." She said seriously.

"We can hold hands." Silver told her curtly, "I think everyone is already well aware of us. No need to really show it off."With that, he gently held her hands within his, and the two of them quickly went to Neverbetter, "Yo! So, we're doing an assassination, then, eh?" Silver asked, smirking a bit, "Sounds like fun."

"No, Soul is just kidding. Unless the person we're assassinating is Kim Jong Un disguised as interviewers for a newspaper." NeverBetter said, only half-kidding about the rest.

"Dammit Crona." Soul replied. "For reals, let's do a mission now."

"What are we doing then NeverBetter?" Neko asked, her tail brushing up against Silver's.

"Is it gonna be fun?"

"Dammit Crona." Soul replied. "For reals, let's do a mission now."

"For one, the first mission is to get you two a room. I ain't one for the mushy things all the time." He joked, putting on probably the most grand of faces, with a straight, stern look, eyebrows straight as boards over his eyes, but with one of his eyes constsntly, and at a high rate of speed, twitching. "Anyway..." He looked at the mission hall. "We have to find one. I would say we're probably just in need one one other member, but I can't recall who..."

Kev cought the muffin. "Cheers bro." he started munching on it. "If you dont want to kill anyone neko, i can do that for you. Either way, im down for whatever kinda mission. i just wanna do some work."

Neko threw a fish at NeverBetter.

"You're only jealous." She said with a smirk, her left eye turning a deeper purple to signify her pride.

"Same." Silver said after Kevin, "I haven't done anything in awhile. I'm down for anything. Slaying dragons? Yup. Fighting the undead? Down for it. If we're missing anyone, I'll grab Soul and we'll find em real quick."

He grins, flashing this grin at Neko before looking seriously as Neverbetter.

Axel was about to chase off after the others when Cap suddenly landed on him, knocking him to the ground. He hit his head on the floor, but was fine, aside from a slight headache. He took Cap's hand, and stood back up. "Thanks. And... It's fine. I don't blame you for stumbling on me, after what the bartender did to everyone's drinks..." He sighed. "Hey, we should go catch up to the others. I think they're all getting missions." He told his teammate, then ran back to catch up with the others.

"Jeez you two, chill out. we get it, two cats in heat." He said jokingly. his mouth full of muffin.

"The sexual tension is literally killing my soul." Soul moaned.

Neko threw a fish at NeverBetter."You're only jealous." She said with a smirk, her left eye turning a deeper purple to signify her pride.(Bringing Neko's Changing color left eye into this)

"Jelly of whot? I don't see anything to be jelly of!" NeverBetter said, hoping to get Neko annoyed. It would prove rather funny, in his opinion.

"Jeez you two, chill out. we get it, two cats in heat." He said jokingly. his mouth full of muffin.

"The sexual tension is literally killing my soul." Soul moaned.

Then NeverBetter literally fell on the floor, and laughed his coat off. Like a manman.

Axel realized he probably caught up at a bad time, since as soon as he got within earshot of the group, he heard something about sexual tension. "Uh... If there's something... Serious going on, I can step out for a bit." He said, half joking, half not wanting to get caught up if things ended up going a little too far. 

"Nah, your good axel. its just Silver and Neko. Jeez nort, I goddamn LOVE your muffins."

Neko just gave Guide and Soul the look of "I'm going to kill you".

"You guys aren't funny, we aren't in that kind of relationship."

Soul leaned towards Neko with his hands on his hips, while sticking his tongue. "It's because I'm jealous, silly."

"I don't know, it was pretty funny to me." Yuffie said, strolling into the conversation, hands stuffed deep into her pockets. She gave a smile. It seemed a tad... forced, but she faked it well enough.
